How do you feel about the long-running theory of Dennis being the name of Yellow Guy being basically thrashed by the fact that he literally has "Y" on his bed in DHMIS 6

I accepted long ago that DHMIS is a dimension of chaos and horror that will never abide by even its own rules. The D on Yellow's overalls never meant anything, "Shrigis" was never implying anything. It is a world fumbling for sense and reason, but never being able to find it.

Ok very, very important question about the parents of my little baby firefly. What does Shrigy and Lazlo's relationship in your au look like? This is my favorite ship of all and your Shrigy (in both forms) is the sweetest I've ever seen (right after my Star when you drew her, God she's so beautiful 😭 tysm❤️)

i'd say they get along pretty well. or at least in the way interpret them.

lazlo is a good listener and doesn't have a problem with shrig or any other member of the funny house talking his ear off. laz's relaxed personality makes it easy for shrig to turn to him whenever he feels stressed. (which is a pretty big thing for him considering shrig has a hard time sharing his own feelings as he feels like that makes him a "burden.")

they talk a lot about what the afterlife might be like and their favorite activities to do together are stargazing and nature walks.

i'd say more but i'll save it for when their relationship develops more on my ask blog. :) 💙🌙🦋

I feel like special ones name would definitely start with Shrig- because in the love episode when they say "change your name" there's a split second where you see that they changed Yellow Guy's name to "shrigis", i assume that goes for the others' names too

YEAH it has to be something with Shrig, maybe a mix of a normal girl name + shrig

Like, Shrignold probably had a normal name before he joined the cult too. I think my first thought with Shrignold was "Arnold". So if Special One had a name it would be something like that too

I'm writing this series about my friends. Its an au if we were characters in a pirate world. We are all pirates. My other friend (@tailblazer-firewolf) has been drawing and animating stuff for it.

It's called Boil the Ocean and Blood, and I'm going to start talking about it because maybe people would like to hear about it.

I'll start with the Windstorm Dead. They are a group of 6 guys who met one day and decided they wanted to be pirates. They went on a lot of cool adventures and got into a lot of trouble!

The interesting thing about them is that they are all cursed by something. Hunter has a cursed ring which drives him insane pursuing power, Red has a cursed dagger, which makes him immortal but makes him look like a skeleton. Para discovered a trident which cursed him to transform into a giant squid if he gets too emotional. (Btw Para and Red are romantically involved). Square has a cursed coin which has forced him to flip said coin for important choices, and whatever the coin says he must do that. Noah has a cursed bead that allows him to see the future when he's sleeping, but the visions are not clear. Lastly Shrigis has always been cursed, and none of the crew knows why (he's a little eldritch entity)

In the first story, the Windstorm Dead break up like some sad boy band because Hunter goes off on the others for not utilizing their curses to their advantage. Para gets worked up from the fighting and transforms into a squid, Square goes after Hunter and tries to reason with him, but the ring has been infecting his mind. It ends with them all splitting up.

The rest of the story is everything that happens afterwards, including lots of other pirate guys.

I've had the idea that Yellow Guy's name is Denis because his shirt has the D and in the third episode on YouTube his name is changed to Shrigis, by a dude called Shrignold, so if it starts with a D and maybe ends with -is then it would be Denis, so I have now decided that all three of their names start with a D because it would be funny

Yellow guy is Denis, Duck is maybe David, and the Red guy is like Daniel or Drew or something. Obviously not canon because the Duck just thought the stone's name was David (did he think the stone was alive too?) and the others commented that his name isn't David, but I think it's funny so that's their names now (to me)

The Heartbroken Cult AU

Hello 👋 It’s been awhile since I’ve been on Tumblr,but do not fret for I have returned with a new AU idea involving the latest phase 7 of Gorillaz as well as a popular debunked theory of possessed 2D during Phase 5 and my own interpretation of DHMIS 3 but only focusing on Special One,Manny/Doi,and some of the followers that now left Malcom’s “care”.

Characters+Plot Points For This AU

1.Manny/Doi=Possessed by the spirit known as hatred,left the cult of Malcom after not wanting to participate in an activity that Shrignold deemed to make him and his special one much “closer” towards one another after finding out that his special one was going break up with him.

2.Special One/Lilith=Was in the cult for as long as she could remember,has been through some horrible unspeakable things with the cult of Malcom as well as Shrignold himself that resulted her in rebelling against the cult upon finding out that her special one Shrigis left her for another special one but soon found out that wasn’t true at all and decided to help form a new cult with herself as well as her special one who is the appointed leader of said new cult.

3.Blue Rabbit=He was assigned by Shrignold to capture the deserters who ran away from the cult of Malcom,as he did promise to bring them back unharmed in any way but was soon to discover that if he didn’t return with the pair of lovebirds he would be severely punished for not following orders.

As he then left the cloud kingdom,he was surprised to see that a new cult was formed by the runaways who now wore bubblegum pink colored robes instead of what they had in the cult of Malcom by looking for a place to escape he was then captured by a now changed Lilith who was tasked with taking care of any outsiders that so happened to find the cult,upon hearing that the creature was an old friend of her and Shrigis she then calmed down soon Rabbit was introduced to the leader who was once the newcomer of the old cult Manny now named Desolate saw it was his older friend as he then introduced him to the cult known by The Heartbroken Cult,as well as getting him to join which he accepted with open arms for he had no special one to return to upon going back to the Malcom cult.

4.Unicorn=The final member that escaped from the cult of Malcom,Unicorn was sent to retrieve his best friend blue rabbit from wherever it is that he ran away to as he was then looking in the city all around London for his friend he then came to a semi abandoned apartment building that was painted in a shade of bubblegum pink curious as who or what is living in such a place he then made his way towards the door where it opened up on it’s own;he then carefully made his way inside scared of who was inside as he then heard music coming from the basement seeing an elevator that was in a wall near the kitchen,and dining room he then made his way towards it that suddenly opened as stepping out was blue rabbit,Unicorn was glad to see his friend as he then saw that he was also brainwashed by Shrigis who needed some more members as unicorn was then brought to the all pink party where the cult celebrated as it was more akin to a nightclub.

Soon he was one of the last members who got recruited into the Heartbroken Clut,for he did actually suffered from loss of love as the special one did leave him for another long ago when he was in Malcom’s cult.

Other Things To Know=

Takes place in the modern day instead of 1955

Manny and Lilith are in their Mid Twenties while Blue Rabbit and Unicorn are in their Early Thirties

Manny suffers from hallucinations about wanting to harm Lilith,but he knows that it’s just the work of the spirit known as hatred that possessed him one rainy day as he found his way in life after leaving the care of Harry & Robin as he is also no longer dumb but rather more smart than what he seems as it would also appear he grew up after the events of everything that his father made him go through all of his life

His father kicked the bucket sooner than later,as it was only a few weeks after his 18th birthday

Unicorn boy: Rodnish. He's married to the rabbit. He has a very deep voice and is about the size of a real upright pony. Almost as big a boy as the priest is when he takes the form of a man. He dresses very sensibly and helps most with hard labor because he's the strongest boy of all and Malcolm is very impressed ♥️

Rabbit girl: Sherry. She's married to the unicorn. She gives warm hugs, she makes warm meals, and likes to help her husband in the garden. She hopes to have lots of children someday and sometimes she lies about nibbling the harvest, but Malcolm loves her anyways. ♥️

Furry Boy: Ishie. Ishie likes to help out by watching over you when you think you're alone. He hopes that one day his diligence will reward him with a special one, and this inspires him to keep others diligent too. He isn't always polite, and he twitches when he talks, but he is so very loyal, and we love him for that. ♥️

Purple boy: Shire. He's the record keeper. Though he isn't allowed to read the scripture-- that would be a silly job for anyone but the priest-- he keeps track of all kinds of words and numbers. Like birthdays and names, how much gravel was fed, and who has been sentenced by anathema. He also burns the records that no one likes. He rarely makes mistakes and Malcolm knows it. ♥️

Pink haired girl: Speshul. Named lovingly in blessing that she may one day find happiness with another. She is very cared for by all in the congregation, as she was orphaned very young after a terrible accident that Malcolm must have wanted to happen to her entire family. She is not bright or quick witted, in fact she's concerningly slow, but we love her anyways. That's what makes her so special. ♥️

The special one having shrig for the first part of her name post and remembering the most popular fanon name for was Lily.

Shrigly? If shrignolds name was originally Arnold that means most the cult members would most likely replace the first two letters of their names with shrig. But yellows cult name was shrigis which kinda debunks my lil theory of how the cult renaming thing works.

YEAHHH I dont know its all so weird 😭 I'm also super used to just calling her special one so calling her an actual name is so hard!
