So with news that Shona McGarty is leaving the soap.

I did wonder if they are going to kill Whitney off in a tragic way to go along with the tragic life that the show has heaped on her.

But now I'm not sure, since they killed off Lola and Karen will probably die for her exit as many have speculated.

Perhaps they will have Whitney get some dream job and they send her off to a new "happier" future. So that they can keep her on the books in case they ever want to bring her back.

Honestly, that's why I absolutely don't believe the Sun saying Max was axed because of his party lifestyle and dating life. People like Dean Gaffney, Jessica Wallace, Shona McGarty, all did questionable things, and yet all of them are still on the show or still come back regurlarly. It seems like a false excuse for me

i agree but ee have let a few (especially younger) actors go in recent years due to their off set behaviour. maybe the contracts these days are just much stricter so the longer serving cast can get away with more? idk that’s my only reasoning. i have wondered what some of the cast must have over someone there to not have been fired a long time ago though 😅

like i said i really don’t know much of what max is meant to have done so i can’t really comment on that but i do know that the sun are shit stirrers and the media will sensationalise anything they possibly can. i just hope he has a good support network around him
