Negli ultimi mesi c’è un nuovo posto a Bergamo. O meglio, un posto che già c’era, un negozio abbandonato che era ancora prima un lavatoio. Ora è un parallelepipedo nero, si chiama Performatorio e sarà in futuro lo spazio per le arti performative a Bergamo. Un luogo aperto alla ricerca e alla diversità: eventi, workshop e incontri. Alcune cose sono già successe, altre avverranno in futuro. C’è un sito, un programma, degli articoli giornalistici. Qualcuno di voi ci sarà già stato, gli altri lo avranno visto per anni senza sapere cosa sarebbe diventato.

Molte cose uniscono due realtà come Invisible°Show e Performatorio, altre le dividono. Tra le cose che le uniscono: l’obiettivo di fare e condividere cultura e il desiderio di indipendenza. Tra le cose che le dividono: la stabilità. Performatorio è, appunto, un posto. Invisible°Show i posti li ha sempre cercati e usati per il tempo necessario. La collaborazione tra le due realtà è iniziata prima ancora dell’apertura di Performatorio con il concerto di Evichsen la scorsa estate. Questa collaborazione proseguirà seguendo ciò che unisce e che divide. A volte, per esempio, Performatorio darà a Invisible°Show un po’ di stabilità e Invisible°Show ricambierà con l’improvvisazione.

Ryosuke Kiyasu è un batterista di Tokyo attivo dal 2003. Improvvisa su un rullante, alla ricerca del suono che ha in testa. Fondatore e componente di diversi gruppi underground estremi tra il Giappone (Sete Star Sept e Fushitsusha) e il Canada (The Endless Blockade), ha un impressionante curriculum di live in giro per il mondo. 

In chiusura un dj set tra soundscape e noise di Chiara Lee da Torino: musicista e curatrice.

And another split release, this time between Chicago grind/pv act Self Hate and Japanese noisecore legends Sete Star Sept. To be honest i wasn’t aware with Self Hate before this and i like what they bring to the table, it’s nothing special, but decent rehearsal room sounding grind on their part. Sete Star Sept does what they do best. This time with three longer recordings that lack anything that could be called a riff or anything, but that’s what we like about them right? Still my favorite from them will be the Gero Me tape, but this is cool as well.
