What if serapentian eyes become more yellow the older they get?

Like we see ash and harp having completely white eyes (around the pupil) but we also see older serapentians having yellower eyes so it’s probably that

Top 5 Horrible Things Gary Goodspeed Has Done

We all love the fun-loving idiot we all know as Gary Goodspeed but let’s be honest, annoying us to pieces and breaking our hearts are not the only crimes he has committed. Although the show has its moments of humor, drama and lightheartedness, we can’t ignore how it casually glosses over some of the messed up things they do, like KVN committing mass genocide on Serapentis. But then again, who’s idea was it to have KVN impersonate a goddess? Even though I’m about to call out Gary, let me say first that I love his character. He’s a great guy. However, I still think he holds accountable for many of his actions and some of these actions have produced consequences and would soon bite him in butt in the future. Here is a list of top five terrible things Gary Goodspeed did.

Note: This post is completely opinionated. You don’t have to agree with everything.

Oh, yeah. SPOILER alert.

5. Leading Little ‘Cato’s suicide Mission

After the tragic death of one of the most beloved characters in the show, Gary swore to look after Avocato’s son, but didn’t quite know how. Given that Gary didn’t grow up with both parents, he didn’t know how to be a parent figure himself, but was still willing to try anything to make Little Cato happy, even quenching his thirst for revenge. They try to take on the Lord Commander themselves without any plan whatsoever, and as a result, failed miserably. If Nightfall hadn’t saved them on time, Gary would have been responsible for the death of he best friend’s son. Now that’s poor parenting skills.

4. Destroying 92 star cruisers and a small family owned Mexican restaurant.

We’re all familiar with this one. While Gary was trying to impress Quinn Airgon by impersonating an Infinity Guard pilot, he got caught in the act when he accidentally destroyed over 90 ships of government property and a single family owned property. EPIC FAIL. This is the catalyst that got Gary imprisoned, but we wouldn’t have a show without this turn of events.

3. Robbing a man’s life.

In an attempt to hit on a Quinn, Gary knocks out an Infinity Guard soldier while in the can, steals his clothes, and drugs him. Five years later, Gary finds the man right where he left him and finds out that instead of giving him aspirin, he gave him crylinal, AND overdosed him! Whether it was a good thing or bad thing he was still breathing, it wouldn’t matter because instead of dyeing in an oblivious sleep, he woke up to the hellish nightmare of the end of the world and then died. Soooo yeah. It took Gary 5 years to murder an innocent. (He also acknowledges what he did was beyond wrong by looking himself in the reflection and calling him a jerk face.)

2. Impersonating Melanie DeWinter

This is the most messed up and disturbing thing Gary has done thus far in the show. Instead of getting ID papers on a visit to a planet, he instead takes on the identity of a diseased citizen by wearing her skin. You are one sick dude, Clearance. This gets him mixed up with the disease’s family, making them think he was their mother during their time of healing. Just when they thought all was right again, the kids tear open the skin, revealing him to be a psychotic killer in their eyes, traumatizing them for life. What’s worse is that they come back to avenge their dead mother, further demonstrating how Gary ruined their lives.

Before getting into number one, let’s have an honorable mention. In season 1 episode 8, we see Gary and his dad beat the crap out of the past Lord Commander while frozen in time. Some might argue that this is messed up since this is before Jack turned evil. At that moment, he was still an innocent Infinity guard who served the universe while being good friends with John Goodspeed. However, given all of the horrible things he WILL do, it was a satisfying case of revenge. Plus, he turns evil at the exact moment when time moves forward again, so I’d say the beat down was more than justified.

1. Gary loses the earth

Now, before you raise your pitchforks and yell at me, “It’s not his fault! He tried his best!” I’ll say yes, he did try his utmost best... but he could’ve done better. At the moment Gary has the Lord Commander at gunpoint, he had the chance to kill him and ending all his schemes, but hesitated and argues with the Lord Commander.

He lost his chance to shoot so he resorts to trying to reason with Jack, reminding him of what he used to be before turning corrupted with power.

What Gary tried to do was noble, but Jack was far beyond gone and succeeded in opening the breech in space wide enough for a Titan hand to snatch away the earth. I’m just saying, he could’ve just shot him.

Even though Gary was not entirely the cause of losing his home planet, the guilt of not being able to save it still haunts him and he sometimes get reminded of his failure.

That’s all I have to say. Again, I didn’t make this list to dish out on Gary. Rather, they’re more like stepping stones of him growing as a more developed character because people get better after learning from their mistakes and picking themselves back up from failure. With a serialized show as deep and emotional as Final Space, it makes me curious as to how they’re going to bring up these past mistakes and mishaps in the future.

GUYS I'VE OFFICIALLY LOST IT-

So. Awhile ago, I saw this post, right? Basically it just said that Sera and Sir Pentious' cards have very similar compositions, and that Seraphim, which is what Sera is, are often associated with serpents. Interesting, but could still be a coincidence, right?

So anyways I checked the reblogs and saw somebody say they should kiss. And now I'm insane.

Because like... the only thing we know really about Sir Pentious' potential story arc in the show is that he's gonna have a crush on one of the other characters. And the only thing confirmed about his sexuality(to my knowledge) is that he is attracted to women. We don't really have any way to know who his crush is, because there are a lot of women in Hazbin Hotel, but could still be noteworthy, right? And like... okay this is gonna sound like the most "trust me, bro" evidence I could possibly pull out of my ass at first but I just need you to hear me out here, okay? Sera's crown and Sir Pentious' hat have a lot of visual similarities. Here's a helpful diagram :)

Which like. Okay. Could literally be nothing, right? Except for two small things that I can't let go of: One, Sir Pentious' goggles + the v-shaped brim on his hat were added to his design AFTER he was given a more prominent role in the show-

(Pilot design, back when he was meant to be a one-off villain of the week vs current design as a member of the main cast)

And two, the Hellaverse shows kind of have a tendancy to use visuals in order to signify characters' relationships to eachother. It's also just a pretty popular form of symbolism as a whole tbh, but the Hellaverse has a lot of really good examples. Like, for instance, how Vaggie's new outfit is a lot closer to Charlie's color pallette than any of her previous designs, or this really good breakdown by @/raeynbowboi about the symbolism of hearts in Hazbin Hotel and how they pertain to Angel Dust/his relationships! It's from awhile ago so some of the info is a tad outdated, but overall I do think the analysis holds up. Meanwhile, in Helluva Boss, Moxxie and Millie have basically the same color pallette and they were the most functional relationship in the entire show before before Fizzmodeus came along. Which, speaking of those two...

See, I made this diagram because, after I pointed out the similarities between Sera and Sir Pentious' headgear to my dad and asked him if those kinds of similarities were a valid form of analysis(because I am but a humble highschooler that doesn't know everything about media analysis, and also I felt like I was losing my mind-), my dad said that I should look at the creator's(Vivziepop's) other works to see if couples having similar motifs was a recurring theme. So obviously, I picked my favorite couple in either show and disected their designs for every little detail that could maybe possibly be an intentional parallel. And while some of it is kind of iffy, like Fizz's limbs being the same kind of blue as Ozzie's tufts could just be a way to show that Ozzie made them, or both of them having uh, two things sticking off of their head(that one's definitely a reach-), I think stuff like both of them having hearts as a recurring detail in their designs or having lITERALLY THE SAME EYE COLOR??? Are pretty good evidence that Viv/the Hellaverse design team tend to use visuals to signify characters relationships.

ALSO!!!! If the Fallen Angel Vaggie theory ends up being true, there could be some interesting parallels to draw between Chaggie and Sera/Sir Pentious! Something about like... demon royalty/random angel vs angel royalty/random demon. Could be used to draw parallels between how the two societies treat that kind of thing idk.

So, now that all the meta evidence is out of the way, we can get down to what really matters: would these two work as a couple? Do their personalities mesh well togther? And the answer to that is!

But in all seriousness, I don't actually know. We just... haven't seen enough of Sera to know for sure. In fact, this whole theory is based off of small details that definitely add up to SOMETHING, but could very well be pieces to some very different puzzles that I'm trying to shove together because somebody jokingly suggested that they would fit. Like, the parallels really COULD mean something, and it COULD have something to do with Sir Pentious having a crush on another character, but like. There could also be a million other answers to both of those questions, y'know? I also have a tendancy to make wild conspiracy theories about genuinely inconsequential details... I almost never talk about them publically, but still. Though I will say, based off of Sera's description in the leaks, I could definitely see a world where she bounces off of Sir Pentious pretty well. Her description in the leaks very much gave me uh... Isabela cover of Surface Pressure vibes, y'know? Shit that is- that is a weird way to describe that but most people on here have seen Encanto right? Y'all get it? And Sir Pentious is both a Victorian Gentleman Type and completely unhinged. Like... idk there's something there. I could maybe see it working. But at the end of the day, it's just too early to tell.

That being said I WILL be trying to pump out some fanart of these two before the actual show comes out and crushes my crackshipping dreams. Also their ship name is either SeraPentious or PentSera I can't decide.

Theorising about serapentis at 2:00 at night

Also just saying because I wrote this so late at night I might say some cringe stuff here because that’s just my brain in those hours

K so something that really annoys me is that serapentis (hope I spell it right) is the most interesting planet in the show and the show barely talked about it’s lore and nobody cares about it so I made some serapentis lore HCs to make myself happy

I’m about to make a theory now but before I start I just wanna say I don’t remember a lot of stuff from the show and did most of this from research so there’s probably a lot of plot holes

• anyway let’s talk about werthrent the snake god

• the wiki says he’s from another realm?

• this is kind of a big stretch but what if it’s final space? (This theory is really bad and has a lot of guessing in it)

• anyways werthrent is originally from final space, he might be a titan and he’s mostly invictus’s little helper

• anyway a long time ago (as long as serapentis existed) werthrent somehow escaped final space and found a cool space rock, with his titan powes he created life on it and he decided to torture them because he can! He told them that there’s a goddess named sentella who will give them good fortune and that he’s connected to her and that if they will sacrifice themselves to him they will get eternal joy! Even though that’s just not the case

• now skipping a few years ash and harp were born werthrent always thought ash had a lot of potential helping invictus. He didn’t think much of it though cause he didn’t mind sucking the life out of her too but because of his connection with invictus. Invictus knew that too and that’s why he gave her her powers and it was released when her sister’s sacrifice happened hoping that it will help her escape and lead her to final space to help him and the rest is history

• but hey that’s just a theory! A final space theory!!! Hope there’s not a lot of plot holes here

• also something that really made me mad is that In season 2 they literally killed werthrent. A being that literally became A PHYSICAL PART OF THE PLANET FOR OVER 1000 YEARS ACORDING TO MY HEADCANON and they just left it there!!! How did it impact the planet??? WHAT??

• im literally going from 0 info here but my theory is that after that happened the serapentians thought they did something really bad and that sentella is losing trust in them (it’s also from the fact that they literally thought kvn was sentella in that episode and according to them she let them fall from a cliff) so they start getting really strict with the cult stuff and started punishing themselves in ways like starving themselves etc

• and this is kind of a stretch but maybe that’s how the species died?? I mean we don’t know if most serapentians are alive now maybe they died right after werthrent??
