A non-exhaustive list of One Direction Moments™ that have happened this year

-LTWT...just...the whole thing...offering cupcakes to fans...the impassioned speeches....the inexplicable papillon pants... forgetting TTD lyrics every night ...you need me and I need you...don't let it break your arm...OTB....barricade moments... -Harry scatted on Harry's House and I Did Not Like It (but the album’s a bop) -Also he is apparently never-endingly on tour -Louis ran into a wall and broke his elbow while on tour in Poland -Harry at Coachella was a whole Thing (Shania & Man! I Feel Like a Woman! Lizzo & I Will Survive! Sequins! Feathers! Lost the ring! Got the ring returned!) -Liam went on L*gan P*ul’s podcast and it was Bad -Then the entire internet turned on Liam :( -Seemingly in response to Liam's comments, Zayn posted a video of him singing his iconic high note in You and I in front of all his 1D awards??? -Which Louis then went and liked????? -Zayn then posted ANOTHER video of him singing 1D, this time Night Changes -LOUIS LIKED IT AGAIN -AND PUBLICLY COMMENTED ABOUT IT AND SAID HE'S THOUGHT OF ZAYN OFTEN AND HOPES HE'S WELL -AND THEN, seemingly in response, Louis added a cover of Night Changes to his set list -DWD drama...etc. etc. I don't wanna fucking rehash it -also My Policeman and Harry wore a very queer-coded outfit to the premier and I will personally fight anyone else who calls him a queerbaiter -Harryween! Grease! Hopelessly Devoted to You! Makes me nostalgic for ~2014 black skinny jean Harry. -Niall is also doing some things, mostly continuing his bromance with Lewis Capaldi, tweeting about golf, and (allegedly) writing new music. -Also becoming a new coach on The Voice???? -FITF is a certified banger of an album and goes to number 1 in the UK!!! (Thanks in part to fans ~creativity~ with the charts system) -Niall Horan, certified Bruce Springsteen fanboy, tweets in support of getting Louis to #1 (over Bruce Springsteen) -On release day, Louis "smashes his arm to fucking pieces" and then posts the x rays as proof. This is the second time he has broken his right arm this year. -Liam returns to the internet and seems to be adopting an "if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em" attitude and encouraging people to make memes out of his posts and I am still deeply concerned for his wellbeing :( -Performing a postponed show in December, Louis goes up to the barricade after reminding fans to be careful of his (still broken) arm. Everyone is wonderfully gentle and careful and a continent away I have a meltdown. ....and that's what you missed in this year's 1DCU.
