I really just think those results are it's because this is Tumblr. While other internet circles I feel would vote differently, I think Tumblr people are more likely to enjoy Rome or Shiv, whether it's pure prestige TV people or people who's interests overlap on here between prestige TV and more 'fandom-y' stuff. I think in general throughout Tumblr circles it makes sense for Ken to be the least popular, not even out of dislike, but just because his character tropes and arc appeals less to the audiences here?

no you’re totally right in that like if there’s any site rome would sweep on, it’s this one. but honestly like if twitter is ken-world and reddit is defined by shiv-hatred, i would say the defining character here is tom tbh. like this is the tom site. i do not see anywhere near as much tom insanity on any other social media. i guess i just hadn’t thought that much about where roman would fit into the picture! but i still feel like it’s a Rule that ken sweeps the sibs idk it feels like we’ve committed a cardinal sin. like as someone who’s been here (and a romangirl, no less — i’ve always found him fascinating and heartbreaking) since s2 started airing, this is quite literally the first time it hasn’t been clearly ken > shiv >>>> rome. there were more of us in s3 but too much birthday was basically, like, gunshots in the air to keep the rent down lmao (which is totally what’s gonna happen this szn too). ming eastgaysian said this in its tags on the poll earlier but i’m totally gonna redo the poll in a few weeks once Roman Fascism Arc hits and watch in glee at the drastically changing results
