Pair of Sandals - Met Museum Collection
Inventory Number: 22.3.21a, b Second Intermediate Period–Early New Kingdom, Dynasty 17-18, ca. 1580–1479 B.C. Location Information: From Egypt, Upper Egypt, Thebes, Unfinished Temple ("Seankhkare") Valley, Pit Tomb MMA 1008/1016 (Mond 8), MMA excavations, 1920–21
Description:
These sandals, along with a second, similar pair (22.3.20a), were found in the chamber of a pit tomb used ultimately for the burial of a 21st Dynasty (ca. 1100 B.C.) charioteer named Itamun (see 26.3.1a, b). They come, however, from an earlier burial that was pushed aside for the tomb's new occupant.
The soles of the sandals are formed of tightly woven papyrus in narrow rows, with three outer bands defining the shape. The thongs are made of thicker strips of flattened reeds.

Scarab with Perfect Existence Signs
Egyptian/Canaanite, ca. 1648-1539 BCE (Second Intermediate Period; Hyksos; late MB IIB)
This amulet has a recreative and /or good luck connotation; the duplication of the signs should strengthen the effect. The third sign is either a fill character, or refers to the all-inclusiveness of 'perfect existence.' The scarab originally would have been mounted or threaded.

I want to finish ALBW before I go talking about it... And I want to try and 100% it before then.
I have two heartpieces left.
One I have no idea where the fuck it's supposed to be,
And the other one is Octoball Derby.

ADHD + Math = Huh?
I'm slow, not stupid. Yes, there is a difference. I can make all the connections a "smart" person can, it just takes longer because there's like 5 extra steps to every problem because my ADHD brain can't compartmentalize.
This math problem, for example:
15
×20
_____
Now, most people would probably look at this and do it the way taught in school. Multiplying the top ones place by the bottome ones place, then multiplying the top tens place by the bottom ones place, etc, etc.
When I try to solve this problem, I think, okay, so,
1 - 15
2 - 30
3 - 45
4 - 60
5 - 75
6 - 90
7 - 105
8 - 120
9 - 135
10 - 150
150 × 2 = 300
15 × 20 = 300.
On a really good day I might stop at 75 and go, 75 + 75 = 150, 150 × 2 is 300, 15 × 20 = 300. If I were smarter I could even simplify it to 20 × 5 = 100, 100 × 3 = 300, 15 × 20 = 300. However, that probably wouldn't occur to me unless the 20 was on the top of the problem because I read them top to bottom.
Taking all of this into account, Algebra is Hell. You want me to do what?

in primary school I used to pick cicada shells off of trees n put them on my shirt. cause the lil legs were good at sticking onto things + my shirts usually had pretty good grip. one time I collected a whole bunch n stored them behind a tree. but then I forgot where the tree was. sad

The front is carved in relief showing a seated baboon, a Maat-feather, and a tree or a lotus bud. A three column hieroglyphic design shows the typical a-n-r pattern of the 2nd Intermediate Period. The central column may indicate the throne name of King Sesostris III.

Norris lost 30 seconds pitting for slicks four laps before taking intermediates | 2023 Monaco Grand Prix
Lando Norris was “pleased” to score two points with ninth place in the Monaco Grand Prix, but was otherwise unhappy with his race. The McLaren driver performed well in practice, placing seventh, fifth and fifth again over the three sessions. But he fared less well in qualifying and the race. Norris came eighth in Q1 and 10th in the next two segments of qualifying, hitting the wall twice in Q2 and being held up by Leclerc in Q3. He held 10th in the race for 49 laps before pitting to replace his medium compound tyres for hards. Four laps later he was in the pits again, this time following the rest of the field in switching to intermediate tyres due to rain, and emerged a lapped 11th. He overtook team mate Oscar Piastri to return to tenth, then profited from a brake glazing problem for AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda – who he ran behind in the first stint of the race – to move up to ninth. Afterwards Norris said there was “not a lot” of the race to be pleased about. “The pace in the dry was pretty bad,” he said to media including RaceFans. “We were pretty slow. A long way off the pace of the AlphaTauri. “We did the extra pit stop in the middle, which also was probably just something we need to review. I obviously went with the information I was given, but maybe I should have questioned a bit more if we should have waited one or two more laps, and then seen how wet it got before going onto the hard tyre or going onto the intermediates.” Advert | Become a RaceFans supporter and go ad-free Norris’ pace on the intermediates was strong and he believes he missed out on a much better finish because of the time spent making an extra pit stop. Poll: Vote for your 2023 Monaco Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend “We maybe lost 30 seconds or something from this. That was an easy two, three positions at the end of the race because the pace on the intermediate was the quickest on track by quite a long way. Some good points, but the pace in the wet doesn’t matter, honestly. Just a little ego boost, I guess.” “We shouldn’t have boxed” the first time, Norris concluded. However he admitted Tsunoda was quicker than him during the race. “If I just look at today, the AlphaTauri was a lot quicker. With how much quicker he was today, they should have been quicker than us yesterday. I don’t believe that we had a quicker car yesterday and not today,” said Norris. “So mixed feelings I guess. There’s five, six teams who are a lot quicker than us – not [all] a lot, AlphaTauri may be a little bit more on par with us and a little bit quicker this weekend, but you have Alpine who were considerably ahead of where we were. I don’t know. “I wouldn’t say any big positives, I wouldn’t say the car was mega. I think we just did a good job of getting up to speed. Everyone takes a long time to get up to pace and that’s why we looked very good in FP1, FP2. But the further into the weekend we got, the worse we got. And that’s why we ended up where we did.” Bringing the F1 news from the source RaceFans strives to bring its readers news directly from the key players in Formula 1.
