Lemme just put this in here👀 Thinking about these guys became my favorite pass time and I’m now in love with the idea of Charlie and uncle Charles being so close :”) Charles is a sweetheart and such a dork, I can see him bonding so well with the kid. And the whole grid Godfathers mess!!! Yes!! When it’s still only the twins, Carlos will bring them to the paddock, and does interviews with one on each hip and Charlie is just chilling while Allegra is looking around curiously and chewing on her hoodie strings (maybe she also got Lando’s oral fixation lol). And for a second while Carlos is distracted trying to prevent Fernando and Daniel from stealing Allegra, Charles would swoop in and pluck Charlie from his papa’s arm like “imma juuuussst take this one thank you.” And walks away. He will even do interviews with him sitting on his shoulders and everyone will ask “and who’s this adorable one?” “My godchild, The best Norris-Sainz obviously. His sister is great of course and I love her to death but this one is named after me so he’s different. He’s amazing! You wouldn’t believe Lando is related to him.” As a comeback when Lando is asked where is baby Charlie? “With the red rooster..” Like you could just look around see them roaming the place. They’ll see Alex and George and they’ll stop to talk to them and Charles is like “but don’t ruin his accent mates.” “His dad is literally British??” “Just give me a year or two. He’ll be fluent in French.” Later on when the Charlies are hanging out with Seb and Lewis, Fernando, Daniel and Allegra will come out of nowhere and Seb will go “plz don’t stress their fathers. Let’s not do anything bad today.”

Lewis: The bad thing is already done, isn’t it?

The trio: 👀👀👀

Fernando: Let’s just say that she now has the knowledge to build her own kart if she ever decides to.

Daniel: And with very simple materials that she could find her dad’s garage, might I add.

Charles: Right..so..me and Sharlie are going to that cafés right around the corner. They have these wonderful croissants that he muzt taste. Call me after ze dezaster happens. Ciao!”

And that’s just on the grid, I’m sure he would be even more present out of it!

OH MY GOD I AM SCREAMING I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CIENCKEKCK

Tumblr got rid of a paragraph I had written here but tldr Carlos and lando just have to trust that the kids are okay because they keep getting plucked from their arms and passed around driver to driver. Jokingly, one of the press asks Allegra for her input on the race and are very surprised and amazed at how cogent and considered her response is. Seb high-fives her and they split an ice cream while Lewis feeds her bites from his own to supplement what she’s sharing with seb. All this while other ppl keep coming to ask her for her opinion. It’s really very cute.

They try to ask Charlie, and he just wrinkles his nose and says, “Kraft services are garbage today” and Charles has to do damage control because he had Ferrari catering just prior to that statement, but it’s too late - all the teams are now trying to get the Charlie Norris-Sainz stamp of approval on their food. Charles thinks it’ll give him access to the food too. He is wrong.

Also I’m dying at “red rooster” that is ABSOLUTELY Lando’s nickname for him, and Charles when he is told just squawks and crows in outrage and doesn’t understand why everyone is rolling on the floor laughing. Meanwhile, Allegra’s now sick because different drivers kept abducting her and feeding her ice cream and she had a massive sugar high and got sick coming down from it.

Carlos yells at all the drivers and creates a group chat called “🍦” the sole purpose of which is for drivers to share when, what, and how much ice cream they have fed the children. It’s absolute chaos, and some people aren’t happy about the way the Norris-Sainz kids run the paddock, but it’s a great destressor for the drivers and it becomes a fond memory when Allegra starts racing.
