So ever since I was a kid, I always thought Chibiusa should have been Sailor Earth, inheriting her dad's powers. It would complete the full solar system team, and remove the awkwardness of having two senshi that represent the moon. I incorporated a lot of gold into her suit, because she'd be using mamoru's gold crystal, and I replaced the red she inherited from Sailor Moon with black, that she would get from Tuxedo Mask. She ended up looking more like Sailor Ceres lmao, but she'd probably be changed to Yellow in this AU

Sure, Naru being Sailor Earth has been done to death in the fandom, but it doesn't mean I can't do my own spin for the fun of it~

I think Naru could become Sailor Earth in both anime and manga adaptions and make some semblance of this What-If

90s Anime version "Sailor Earth’s appearance is hinted at end of episode 36 of the first anime, after Tuxedo Mask is kidnapped by the Dark Kingdom. Naru begins to get minor headaches as the symbol for Earth periodically appears on her forehead from time to time. This starts to become concerning in the next episode when Naru goes to see Usagi about the Princess Seminar she got into, but starts feeling unwell before the dance lesson started and went to find something to drink. Searching the halls, Naru stumbles upon Countess Ross transforming into the youma Shakoukai and coating the students in wax, running to find the others she’s spotted by the youma. Just as Naru reaches Usagi, she begins feeling faint as her headaches return, the symbol for Earth appearing on her forehead once again. Luna spots this and gives Naru her own transformation pen to become Sailor Earth. Naru is confused about this but takes the pen anyway, after the initial shock about Usagi's secret revealed to her, Naru finally understands why Sailor Moon always showed up to save her all those times."

Manga and Crystal version "Naru becomes Sailor Earth much sooner in the manga and its closer adaptation Crystal, she awakens after Mamoru is kidnapped by the Dark Kingdom, she begins to have a nagging feeling that something is wrong with Usagi, later going to her house to check on her. Just before she arrives Naru runs into Luna sitting atop the wall around Usagi’s home, she starts to feel off about the cat. As if something is familiar about the cat, a headache starts coming on, forcing her to come inside. Once inside, she stumbles on the girls trying to cut Usagi’s hair and hears the cats talking to the group. Shocked at this, she goes to leave but her headache worsens, forcing her back into the bedroom to rest. The girls and cats notice a glowing symbol on Naru’s forehead, which the cats recognize as the symbol for Earth, Naru has awoken as Sailor Earth in response to Mamoru’s predicament. As it is, Naru will be able to become Sailor Earth in dire "circumstances should the need arise, the group later go to the Moon Kingdom remains and learn of their past lives. There, she learns she is the reincarnation of Eurypyle, a distant relative of Endymion. She tried to warn her cousin about Beryl’s connection with Queen Metalia, but was murdered to keep Beryl’s benefactor a secret."



Trying to make sense of how this could work in-universe is a challenge but a fun way to let me creativity work in an outside the box type of manner.

You might remember my old Sailor Moon OC, Sailor Earth, from this post. I decided to go back and redesign her because frankly...I didn't like her old design at all. I swapped the pink for more lime green since I thought it would be too close to Chibi Usa's design.

Some random Kousagi Headcanons:

This is just for an AU I'm imagining that I may write one day.

She is five years younger than Chibi Usa

She is the guardian of the Earth so Sailor Earth

Chibi Usa takes after Mamoru and is more "his" kid while Kousagi is much more like Usagi.

That said her powers are similar to Mamoru's they are based around flowers and plants while Chibi Usa's are simular to Usagi's

Chibi Usa sees her as an annoying younger sister but she does encourage her little sis and they will work together and do have their heartwarming moments

Kousagi likes to "borrow" her things. This makes Chibi Usa angry.

Kousagi looks up to Chibi Usa and wants to be just like her. She'll follow around her and her friends.

Her Sailor Team are the Kuiper Belt planets, Sailor Eris, Sailor Hamurea, Sailor MakeMake, and Sailor Sedna. Pluto should technically be included in there but what can you do. This is to parallel Chibi Usa's team being the asteroid belt planets.

She loves to garden. Makoto taught her everything she knows.

She also has some animal powers. What they are yet I don't know.

Her pink cat is named Apollo and is Diana's twin.

I want to make ChibiChibi her and Chibi Usa's adopted little sister who would have a disability. As for her senshi name... I'm thinking Sailor Lilith which was said to be the name of Earth's theoretical/lost second moon. In this story it could have just been destoryed.

He already has a transformation on screen (albeit short, and the live action one is more a parody), and hes technically Sailor Earth by proxy of sailor crystal. Not to mention, Mamoru even has his own commuciator watch just like the senshi!

Not to mention, his name Tuxedo Kamen is based on tokusatsus like Kamen Rider who all have some form of henshin phrase!
