i am desperately trying to think of a name for this au but all i could think of is 'get on the whirlwind' and i hate that i couldn't think of anything better please god i need to think of a good name before i tag these

penny lamb , the unluckiest girl in town (=> mischa) - she never got a break in st. cassians no words can describe the amount of bullying she faces . the only reason she wasn't left unidentified is because she has foster parents instead of being left by herself and ezra

"c?" (=> jane) - she was nice . forgot a lot of things including her own name . only remembers the 'happy memories'

ocean o'connell rosenberg , the fiercest girl in town (=> ricky) - got a pretty bad leg fracture that made her slow down on her game , which ruined her as she no longer lives up to her own high expectations . somehow more unbearable than before yet stopped insulting people ?

mischa blackwood bachinski , the gentlest boy in town (=> constance) - was put in a good loving environment so he isn't filled with rage . still , trying to cope with the death of his mother and feeling like he doesn't belong in uranium was tough

richard potts , the most artistic boy in town (=> noel) - has jumped to creating by doing art and writing to make the most of his short life . if he's going to go he'll at least release the stories in his head first

noel gruber , the most determined boy in town (=> ocean) - studies hard so he could leave uranium to move to france . partly because uranium sucks and partly because he'll go there to do drag , why would i Not include his historical oc monique gibeau

you can guess which one i had the most fun developing

also virgil and karnak because i Have to include them ... has anyone thought of swapping any of the choir kids with karnak yet

Just wondering, in your Twister AU, does that mean that in the end, Noel makes the choice on who gets to go back? How would that play out?

my idea of noel's catchphrase is something along the lines of 'honey, there's no such thing as democracy'

um hello ! have my concept for an rtc swap au . none of the swaps are down to a T so penny won’t start rapping about money in autotune but they do share a lot of similarities . think ‘what happens if this character is in their situation?’

STILL GETS DECAPITATED AS YOU CAN SEE , but she's been identified by her foster family so she wasn't left in the dust

i'm sorry but there has to be a bunch of pent-up rage in this girl's system her entire stay in uranium is just being misunderstood like i'm plenty sure she has a Lot of resentment for the town because of it

swaps with mischa ! shares the traits of being in another family, definitely having a youtube channel ... and feeling homesick .

really misses elysium but knows going back there is impossible . there’s no changing that

lost and confused . very awkward . a Creature

retains most of her memories from her past life but that’s it . ‘the pushed aside and just seen as nice here’ is exaggerated to the point that’s the only thing people remember her for

swaps with jane , won’t be seen as a freaky monster but the choir does get creeped out by how often she dissociates throughout the competition

”oh yeah , i remember helping ocean with her crutches , and the choir … fall fair was fun … i was also helping with the blackwood cafe…” “but do you remember anything about yourself?”

still has talia , in fact he still shares the same motivation of wanting to move back to ukraine to marry her .

HAS A BETTER SITUATION IN THIS ONE . is constance's adoptive brother but they weren't really too close ...

swaps with constance as you can tell ! despite being in a better situation he never felt like he integrated into the community and still has this resentment for canada

did it take a horrible accident for him to make peace with it ? probably

of course there are other characters (if you're curious, ricky is noel, noel is ocean and ocean is ricky, and i did somehow get karnak and virgil in the au) these are just the ones i put the most thought into SGHFS i hope to make the rest when i get back to my computer

Oooo in your swap au, how would Constance be Rendered a Jane Doe? Obviously when Penny was Jane her head wasn’t found and it’s assumed that’s how she lost her memories, so how would that apply to Constance ?

IT’S KIND OF ... DIFFERENT … swap con’s not A jane doe per se (like her corpse was identified) , but she still experiences jane’s Horrors of having an uncertain identity and isolation . except she’s well-aware that she was only known for the award she was given in life , never anything else .

instead of going through the horrors of the Possibility no one cared she’s going through the horrors of Knowing no one cared .

girl became more closed off towards her family (especially mischa) over the years so it's inevitable they won't know much about her beyond the superficial trait that's been tacked to her for 3 years

Question time! How does It's Not A Game/ It's Just A Ride work in the Twister AU?

noel votes constance back . she Hesitates as you can see , she think she doesn't deserve it . nonetheless , she has to accept that she was voted and go through the curtains

after coming back from the dead , constance spent the first years of her life honoring the choir . she assisted in producing ricky's writings and art about zolar , helped their loved ones in grieving , and gave tributes in their funerals . i had a vivid image of her finding a grieving ezra over penny's tombstone and going "...yeah she was great, wasn't she?"

later on , she went on trips to discover more about herself and enjoy life as much as she can . in the end she comes back to uranium with newfound appreciation for the town . doesn't get married but her younger brother does . lived the last of her days maintaining the blackwood cafe before dying peacefully in her sleep

oh and karnak and virgil still die

Hi first off I love all of your work your art styles so cute and you have the coolest idea’s I just wanted to know a few things about your rtc swap au

1. does Constance want to come back?( she seems kind of happy about death

2. does Mischa remember Constance?

3. Will this Au have sugar sheep?

it’s complicated . she’s not happy about dying , but also life is not a good option either . she does get pulled to one side at some point

he remembers she’s her sister and they had good memories together but that’s about it

I DIDN’T EXPECT A SUGARSHEEP QUESTION ?? is that my legacy in this fandom now AGHFS there will be penny and constance interactions but that’s it ! no allusions to them being lovers as much as i want to . if i do make sugarsheep art of these two it won’t be canon

What is Mischa and Constance’s relationship in the au?? I know they sibs but I’m so curious on more

there's always been this sort of Distance between them which got more further over the years as constance closed off . it's not that they don't care about each other , rather there's always been Something stopping them from bonding with the other as family (in mischa's case , not feeling like he ever belonged , no matter how much the blackwoods tell him otherwise . he couldn't assimilate in uranium)

the distance does get closed eventually ! :-) ... even though it's in death

If Karnak was unable to talk was just he a machine that gave you those little papers instead with your fortune on it. I imagine in start when we see him he's just unsettlingly quiet but then Virgil just comes and explains his little friend here can't talk so he'll be some assistance.

i really love the idea of karnak giving out papers of your fortune instead of saying it ! imagining the choir reading out their fortune cards that relate to their life or their goals during their introduction . imagining constance trying to find her card and realizing she doesn't have one .
