imagine darling trying to scare jonathan and she dons the scarecrow mask and everything, and she hides behind like a door and when jonathan enters the room she puts a hand over his mouth and leans in to whisper ominous things into his ear to scare him, and his cheek just twitches a little and he smirks and he turns and kind of grabs at her throat (kind of hostile, kind of gentle if that makes sense) and gives her such a condescending look like, "aw, you think you can scare me?" and darling kind of just swallows bc like...dang. now what? ): and this whole situation is just so AGHHHHHH! need to know what you think ASAP cause im literally losing my mind over this bestie </3

hey rpat!! missed u and ur genius ideas, bestie. i've been in a jc mood so this is gratefully received.

we know his whole line's being obsessed with fear, but he hardly feels it himself. he's a horror geek though, and loves it even more when he's with darling. he loves watching her jump, having her sidle up closer to him, grabbing onto/ducking behind his arm. during one of their horror marathons she notices how he's totally unfazed, and it irritates her a little. naturally, she resolves to make him flinch.

he gets a kick out of it, thinks it's cute. little "boos!", sneaking up behind him.

she falls asleep in the closet after spending too long crouching in there, waiting for him to come home so she can jump out and scare him. he finds her, sighs and watches her for a bit before picking her up, and she pouts sleepily in his arms in defeat, all the way back to the bed.

one day, she gets the bright idea to wear his mask.

she's hiding behind the door, holding in her giggles the entire time. jon pretends not to notice, but he does. observant stem man.

definitely lowers her voice an octave, makes it more gruff to sorta mock his voice. she tries to deliver some menacing lines, but they're all punctuated by her giggles, her breath tickling his ear. he thinks it's a funny, let's her entertain herself a little before whipping around suddenly, using his hold on her throat to pull her closer to him.

he pulls the mask off to get a good look at her (he loves seeing her wear the mask. possessive.) and she's wide-eyed, breath caught in her throat. her cheeks are all pink, her hair's all mussed, and he can feel her gulp as her throat moves beneath his palm. he loves it.

i think she could stay bold, look him dead in the eye, challenge him, but i also think she could get really shy, her eyes darting away. he grabs her by the jaw, holding her head in place, making him look at her. she's uncomfortable, tries to squirm away. "you make a pretty little scarecrow, don't you?"

she wriggles away and keeps her head down, can hardly look at him, leaves the room mumbling "sorry". he just laughs and follows her, wrapping his arms around her from behind as she tries to hide her blushing face, cooing.

this reminded me of a halloweeny hc i had for him :,) i could elaborate if you'd like but it's just a lil ting. if you want though- ask and you shall receive

That picture screems sus to me. Why didn't that "fan" send it right away to DM? Why sit on it for so long? / I can see why you'd think that. But honestly I keep thinking that if it was a PR set up thing then they would have leaked it in February. Start the slow reveal that he's no longer with Ale. Then do another pic a few months later. It seemed to me that the fan (I think it was a fan) didn't realize what they had until the RPat bday pic came out and people were talking about them.

do not watch anna 😭 its really not worth it, i watched it after taking a 5 hour long exam as a treat....nearly started crying bc it just was not good and it was only lenny miller saving the movie! all you need to know about him was he was a cia agent and he did not have much personality which is great bc we can headcanon him 🔥 but i recommend in the heart of the sea cillians character is so cute and i always wanted to backstory him like how this fandom created henry wilson (btw are we open to henry wilson headcanons bc he is so 🥰)

uni students have better things to do than speculate but whenever their students see them they’re like 👀 oop- they lowkey ship them. especially because jc’s such a stiff in that setting that compared to him darling seems infinitely less awkward. a cute opposites attract moment. students glancing at each other whenever they get close during lectures. nosy nosy.

they totally only hang out with each other, eating lunch/coffee breaks in his office, walking through campus together. they're just.. the duo.

darling sits on his desk/kicks her feet up on it to annoy him and stop him from doing work when she's bored. it's a little irritating but he loves her!

i have this headcanon about our crazy little genius jonathan crane where he is a coffee addict and he rarely ever sleeps, because lets be honest—if his darling is asleep, he'd much rather be staring at her (completely in awe of her because he has no clue how he got her even though he used his super smart psychotic ways) so that man practically lives on coffee. so whenever, darling kisses him or hugs him he just smells/tastes faintly of coffee. but when i say coffee, i don't mean strong, black coffee, but something with like toffee or caramel creamer, because i think he's a bit of a diva, why lie? sometimes poor ol' jonny gets in a bit of a mood, and to please him while he's working, darling makes him a cup of coffee to cheer him up—and miraculously, it works! he'd be so honored and smug about it inwardly, but he'd definitely get the notion that darling loves him or at least cares for a him a bit. anyway, im not sure if that made any sense at all—but what do you think? i'd love to discuss so much more with you, i hoped you found this interesting 🤎

he's totally a caffeine addct. and yes, by means of coffee. he doesn't seem like the 5 hour energy type. probably thinks it's "unnatural" even though his whole gig is inhaling brain chemical altering juice. hypocrisy. delicious.

i imagined him being big into black coffee but you are so RIGHT. he definitely has a primadonna streak, being a dramatic villain and all. he'll drink his coffee black if he absolutely must, but with a bit of a grimace. he has a sweet tooth when it comes to coffee. he doesn't have a longgg starbucks order but he'll definitely request multiple pumps of vanilla/caramel. yk. for our favourite doctor.

the mention of darling making him coffee made me think of crane x his secretary and!! he'd act all nonchalant but he'd absolutely never want to wash the cup again. he won't let it show but any sort of sweet gesture in his direction shakes him to his core. darling could buy him a dolce gusto machine for his office (and a cup of teeth whitening strips on the side) and he'd be chill on the outside but on the inside he's like !!!!! THEY CARE 😭😭😭 if they were dating bringing him a cup of coffee and a peck on the cheek is morale booster supreme.

as for robert, i don't know why but i feel like him and his fiance would have like a private bachelor/bachelorette party with just the two of them. and this party, robert really lets loose because it's his girl, what is he if he's not open with her? he'd REALLYYYY go wild. he's be singing ABBA at the top of his lungs, dancing on tables, and even stripping (stripper robert in a firefighter costume is literally killing me right now im so sorry 😭) future mrs. fischer would just laugh hysterically and even throw her bra at him like people do at concerts. it definitely is one of the best nights of her life because shes never seen robbie act this way and frankly, she's fallen even more in love with him!

absolutely. i mentioned something similar in a yan alphabet response (tumblr and its tags refuse to work, perhaps it’s lost to the world now. i mourn it.) jon's used to secretly pining and having his world revolve around darling so any reciprocation makes him want to scream. so he takes advantage, because he’s... well... a bad person! jon's really stubborn. he already puts on a fairly cold front but when he’s mad it’s brutal. silent treatment, a lot of brushing by darling or just watching them across the room, then looking away when they look back at him. he's mastered the icy, condescending look and it's an immediate indicator that something's wrong, and it makes darling's heart sink. he knows how to amp up the hurt and push the blame fully onto darling and make them feel sooo guilty. they'd try so hard to get back into his good books. puppy dog eyes, pouting, extra affection (tons of kisses, hugs, darling suddenly becomes extra clingy. very much tugging on his sleeve.), bringing him lunch- it makes him melt. he wants so badly to fall at their feet like YES IT'S OKAY I LOVE YOU 😭 but he makes them wait. it’s torturous. they'll hug him, burying their head in his chest, mumbling "i'msorryi'msorryi'msorry", clutching onto his sweater. nothing. for days. he may even slowly remove their arms from around his waist and leave. but one day he’ll very slowly hug them back. as a gift. darling's so relieved as he's finally not mad at them, and jon's even more relieved because though he loves the attention, he's been aching to reciprocate it. he's probably the type to lecture them after- "it's all for your own good" (condescending, as always). he explains while holding them, wiping away their tears. he's suddenly so gentle, so comforting, so kind. manipulative.

s t o p. that's so cute. i've always thought about what rob would be like at parties (i had an imagine planned where he's at a house party but i put it on hold. idk if anyone would want that?? lmao lmk ig) he's a little shy and acts serious (busy businessman things) - but i think he's got a bit of a silly sense of humour and can cut loose in the right setting- if his s.o. works with him they'd cajole him into going to the office christmas party and he'd just stand there like 🙃 with a little party hat on his head. downer. but in private!! him drunk with a wide smile and flushed pink cheeks. he'd totally wear his tie around his head as a headband, shirt unbuttoned. drunk businessman chic!!! he's my lil rockstar actually, and he'd do a disco medley for his number one fan. his voice cracking as he tries to reach the high notes in the bee gees songs>>> so many slurred lyrics, clumsy saturday night fever inspired dancing, and "you're so pretty." "no, you're pretty!" flying around all night. they'd rent a karaoke room, one of those bougie private ones with drinks, snacks, fancy mics and cool party lighting. and a great view of the city. stumbling home with each other, arms around each other's shoulders, singing and dancing in the street. couple of the century.

(i went through a horrible rpat phase 2 years ago so he is like an ex lover to me) i love it, it's so silly, so thank you! i also love the idea that we're gossiping on those telephones with the loopy cords, it makes it feel like a sleepover. now that we got primadonna #1 out of the way...lets talk robert fischer!

i totally agree with you that he smells like clean linen. i just feel like he smells so expensive. like a nice cologne, but very lightly. like you'd have to be very close to him to detect that smell. i also imagine him with like a very happy and cheerful s.o. just because he needs that sprinkle of joy in his life. like being with him would include a lot of teasing, messing up his hair, giving him kisses with red lipstick so he has a hard time scrubbing it off (he does this with a small fond smile while rolling his eyes), but most importantly, i like the idea that his wife is his secretary so when she hands him paperwork she'll put a sticky note on top of the stack with a little note like "smile, robbie! day's almost over, ily <3" and he when he looks up at her from the note, he blows her a small kiss to show that he's grateful for having her in his life. he's a bit of a sad boy yes, but she always makes him feel better. maybe on bad days he rests his head on her lap and naps the day away, but she lets him all because she gets to play with his hair, and him being affectionate is something wifey eats up. pls indulge and literally just gush about robert fischer with me because he is just so adorable to me, like i want to care for this man for the rest of my life, and if you don't feel that way about him....good luck, charlie.

rob always smells fresh, and it's a light, expensive cologne. don't think he'd be into the heavier musky stuff and he wouldn't lay it on. just nice and clean. i think he puts some sort of effort/pride into his appearance, definitely. he doesn't have a lot of spare time to go shopping (hence... him x personal shopper??) but i feel like he'd definitely enjoy picking out clothes in the morning, putting together a sharp outfit. vibes. would definitely choose the ties/cufflinks that darling buys for him/says he looks good in more often than not. looking at them makes him smile :,))

yes a lot of purposely bumping into him in the office, ruffling his hair and then smoothing it back down for him before his meetings, lip tint on his cheeks and collar that he complains about but totally loves. yoinking his tie/snapping his suspenders to make fun of him is a definite occurrence. you're right about him having a cheery s.o., other cmcu characters would like that quality but in a more withdrawn way, but i think rob especially would love the sunshine

that post it-note thing is so so cute. think of the office interactions: helping s.o. carry files, making each other coffee, walking out with each other at the end of the day holding hands!! stealing a moment to lean over his chair to put their arms around him and their chin on his head as he works, a kiss on the cheek to boost morale. cheesy.

he's a vulnerable dude. i think out of the characters we discuss he's the one who shows it the most, not big on pda but he loves a good bit of affection, it's just comforting. on tough days he just comes home, takes off his jacket and collapses on the couch, head in darling's lap. he might even do it on the couch in his office, just curl up and relax during lunchtime. he loves a good catnap, and s.o. loves to run their hands through his hair, along his cheek, look at how peaceful he is. s.o. hates to wake him and he alw looks up at them kind of shyly when he wakes up but he can't help but smile
