By the end of it all, power couple to the skies but also 2 unrelenting Mafia heads who can and will kill you if you so much as look at their partner wrong.

For Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu:

you've got the founder of the fantasy ancient Chinese CIA and the leader of what is essentially the mafia and then they're soulmates and in love. they're both willing to kill anyone who dares hurt the other while also just wanting a soft domestic life together

Zhou Zishu is an assassin and spymaster who put the current Emperor on the throne, and then quit his job by faking his death (kinda, hes still dying but not as fast as he was supposed to). Had done A Lot on his old job, including murdering children (more than one, and at least one of them in a way I can't even describe without several trigger warnings), exterminating whole families, war crimes (and i dont mean this in a buzzword way, i mean "organized a public execution of foreign diplomats during war time")… btw he doesn't feel particularly bad about any of this, because he believes it was necessary. Like he wouldn't do it for fun, but he thinks the ends (putting a good Emperor on the throne) justified the means (all of the atrocities). As a retiree, he definitely cut down on the amount of morally reprehensible murder, but not murder in general. He still routinely kills ppl, he just doesn't go out of his way to kill more. Wen Kexing, meanwhile, is the Ghost Valley Master - Ghost Valley being a place where the worst of criminals are exiled. Even in such a place, he has reputation as a complete lunatic, owed partially to the fact that he either skinned a man or fed him his own flesh or both at one point, and partially to him having a rule where he would kill anyone who came closer than 3 meters to him. But in truth, everything he'd done was to survive the Ghost Valley and eventually take revenge for his parents, who were brutally murdered when he was only nine. By the start of the novel's timeline, he put his plan in motion - the plan that would drown jianghu in blood, but also deliver poetic justice to all responsible for his parents' deaths, as well as all who'd commit the same crime given the chance. And these two men, these two murderers and schemers, meet - and unexpectedly, find in each other the person who /understands/. The person who is just as ruthless and whose hands are just as bloody, but also the person who knows standing at the top of the world is not worth it, who seeks the same freedom of leaving it all behind, and who is still, underneath it all, a human, with human heart seeking connection. So you have this couple who understand each other with barely a word, and who want the same things - who are so hungry for domesticity and for people they can just goof around with when all their lives they had to measure every step and word - but ALSO where one half a couple is like "i gotta go murder hundreds in revenge" and the other half is like "ok pick you up at 6". (This btw is why I'm submitting novel's iteration of the couple in particular. Show wenzhou with their ridiculous breakups over morality could Never.) Also they were both hiding who they are when they first met, and later flirted about having figured each other out. Finally, I'll leave you my favorite quote that just. perfectly sums up their relationship: "And just like that, they fell asleep in each other's arms, steeped in the smell of blood."

You’ve probably already had submissions for them but I’ll add on. One of them founded an assassin’s guild and killed a staggering number of people. His malewife is the leader of a sect of insane murderous outcasts, and he attained his position by proving to be the most crazy and murder happy of them all. Most of the plot involves him wandering around watching his schemes get more people killed. Together they adopt a kid that was only orphaned due to said scheming (oops). They’re terrible and I love them.

despite having my own apartment, i find myself spending most nights at my boyfriends instead. after two years together, we finally agreed to move in together a few months ago, but unfortunately there’s one catch; my lease. so, until my lease ends in a couple months, i’m stuck in my apartment. although, i’m rarely there, opting to stay at Jack’s house more often than not.

“alright,” Jack sighs as he flops down onto the couch beside me. “what are we watching tonight?”

“seeing as, you made me sit through three boring hours of The Godfather the other night, i’ve decided we’re watching Dirty Dancing tonight.” i tell him. he throws his head back, letting out a groan.

“again?” he whines. “i swear that one stupid song plays on a loop in my head at this point.”

“better get used to it because in a few months, you’ll be hearing a lot more of it. i love that movie.” i feign an innocent smile at him. he smiles at the reminder that i’ll be moving in soon enough, and pulls me into his side.

“i wish we could live together already.” he mumbles, his lips pressed against my temple.

“i know, me too. but only two more months.” i remind him, pressing play on the movie. i spend the entire film humming along to the songs, mouthing along to the iconic lines, and glancing over at Jack’s reactions during my favorite scenes, as if we haven’t watched this movie a hundred times before. when it ends, Jack and i decide to go to bed, my eyes drooping with exhaustion.

after brushing my teeth and changing into my pajamas, i curl up next to Jack, snuggling into his side.

“goodnight, love you.” i tell him.

“love you, sweet girl.”

i wake up to the sound of knocking echoing through the house. my face scrunching in confusion, i look over at Jack, who lays still peacefully sleeping. i sigh, sliding out of bed and padding out of the room, towards the front door. glancing at the clock on the microwave as i pass the kitchen, it reads 5:45.

dear lord, who the hell is here at this ungodly hour?

i stop at the front door, peeking through the peephole and heaving out a deep sigh at the sight in front of me. i unlock the door, swinging it open and turning around to walk away as my boyfriend’s best friend follows me.

“finally! jesus, what took so long?!” he exclaims, shutting the door again behind him. i turn to glare at him.

“it’s five forty five in the morning, Trevor. some of us are sleeping!” i hiss.

“in my defense, i didn’t know you were here.” he puts his hands up in surrender, faking innocence. i roll my eyes and make my way back to Jack’s bedroom, Trevor hot on my trail.

slipping back into bed, i look over at my sweet, sleeping boyfriend and let a soft smile overtake my face, admiring him for a moment. just before using all my strength to push him out of the bed. he groans as his body hits the floor, mumbling out curses.

“what the hell, y/n/n?” he questions, sleep still evident in his voice.

“your other woman is here.” i inform him, laying back down and pulling the covers back over me.

“what?” he asks, still laying on the floor. “what the hell are you talking about? ‘other woman’?”

“about 6 foot, shaggy golden brown hair, loves taylor swift.” he sits up at my words.

“Z?!” he exclaims. he scans the room until he locks eyes with Trevor, and immediately rises to his feet, rounding the bed to hug his best friend.

“the hell you doing here, man?!” his voice is way too loud for how early it is and i groan.

“it’s bye-week, man! and with neither of us being in the All-Star this year, i figured i would surprise you! i checked with y/n to make sure you guys weren’t going on any trips.” Trevor tells him.

“don’t blame this on me.” i grumble. “if i had known you’d be showing up at this hour, i would’ve told you to meet us in Cancun.”

“but, we’re not going to Cancun?” Jack says, furrowing his brows.

“exactly.” i respond. the boys chuckle and begin to loudly discuss all the things they want to do this week, and i officially give up on sleeping any more. i groan, when helping Trevor with this surprise, i didn’t think about the fact that i’d have to deal with them together. “i’m too sober for this.”

“you don’t even drink.” Jack looks over at me, laughing.

“maybe i should start.” i slip back out of the bed, making my way back out to the kitchen, and the two boys follow behind me, still talking amongst themselves. i immediately step over to the freezer, pulling out a random bottle of alcohol that Jack has leftover from Quinn’s last visit, when they forewent going to a club to rather stay here and chill. Jack steps in front of me, taking the bottle from my grasp and putting it back in the freezer.

“okay, no. it's six o'clock in the morning, you're not having vodka.” he tells me, leaning down to press a kiss on my forehead.

“i guess coffee will have to do.” i sigh, turning towards the counter and popping a new pod in the nespresso machine. Jack sets my milk and caramel flavored syrup down on the countertop beside me and hugs me from behind.

“thank you, baby.” he whispers, his lips ghosting the shell of my ear. i shiver from the feeling of his breath fanning across my neck.

“yeah, you’re welcome.” i mumble. “just promise me you guys won’t wake me up this early every day he’s here.”

“i wouldn’t dream of it. i know my girl loves her sleep.” he tells me.

“good.” i turn in his arms, wrapping my own around his neck and pulling him down for a sweet kiss.

“oh gross, guys! innocent eyes are present!” i turn to Trevor, giving him a blank stare.

“you are the least innocent person i know.”

This is a lil idea I had while talking to a friend and it started off with a top 5, but I decided to rank all Pedro boys here, but quite frankly, I love them all and it's just a miniature difference with each. NSFW mentions, but probably anyone can read. The list goes from top to bottom btw, my dumbass did it the wrong way round. I haven't watched some of the things some of these guys are in so just keep that in mind. Remember these are my own opinions and you're allowed to disagree with me!!

#1 Marcus Moreno

Now, he's not the most known, not the fan favorite, he's in the middle for fandom standards, but this guy is the cutest for me. Like I don't care how terrible the movie itself is I fell in love with that man his first second of screen time. He seems like the type to make breakfast for you in bed, he seems like the type to kiss you every morning, he seems like the type to be perfect. Also his world and situation is (considerably) more calm than most of the other Pedro boys, he's not a gun dealer, he's not in a world where a fungus has taken over, he lives a mostly normal life. AND COME ON, TELL ME THIS GUY ISN'T AS LOYAL AS A DOG. He's also a dad, and I love dads <3 With this, Marcus wins the #1 spot!

#2: Javier Peña

Javier couldn't score any lower than this. Sure, his life is considerably more agitated than Marcus's and he IS a huge manwhore... BUT I CAN FIX HIM!! I'd fulfill his dream of living in a ranch in Texas, I'd be his forever. He's also got that mustache and you KNOW he's good in bed, any position, Dom or sub, he does it ALL! And he'd also be hella protective of you too.

He's so.. he's so adorable!! Frankie is just so cute and seems like the type of guy that would do it all for his partner. #5 Pero Tovar

I'm not gonna lie... I'm guilty of having slept on Pero for hella long, but that's not the case anymore as he ends up #5 on this list! I see him kind of as a mix between Joel and Din. AND THAT SCAR, LORD...

I just wanna kiss this man all over and give him the loving he deserves. I also definitely see him taking out his weapons at anyone insulting you, he'd just be so in love with you.

#6 Joel Miller

Of course, the iconic Joel Miller can't be any lower than this, he's so adorable, like even if he's a mass murderer, he did it in the name of his daughter! Joel would be a very hard and strong man, if he has a soft moment with you, it means he plainly loves you and trusts you. And his brown eyes oh my god, and the greying hair, god, he's so amazing, I wanna take care of him. He'd be super protective and possessive of you too. Also he's a dad, of course lmfao.

#7 Tim Rockford

He's got cake, a hot ass mustache, shoulder holsters and a hot ass attitude with beautiful brown eyes. The only thing that kind of holds him back is the lack of a proper story, but that's amazing for fics as you don't really need an AU 99% of the time. I feel like he'd be really soft with his partner and constantly trying to make time for them and sometimes invite them to his office, he also seems like the type of guy to sneak behind you and give you hugs from behind .

#8 Oberyn Martell

A classic. Our slutty bisexual prince, who doesn't love that combo? We have canon confirmation that this man is good in bed too. I have the Headcanon that he's an amazing power bottom, but that's just me. I feel like he'd be super protective of you and constantly try to show his strength and attractiveness to you, even if you don't mean it, he'd definitely spoil you too.

#9 Din Djarin

Our little Mandalorian with social anxiety <3, I love him so much, he's so cute and I'm glad he got the ending he deserved with his child, (let me live in Nevarro with you and Grogu, I'll make you happy I swear). He's the definitely the protective type, and his patience is real short so it's best to not mess with you, Grogu or him. I feel like he'd have trouble taking off the helmet mainly cause he feels insecure that you won't like him.. but little does he know you're only gonna love him more, and eventually when he does do it, it's an amazing decision.

#10 Jack "Whiskey" Daniels

Now, Whiskey and #11 were a hard pick, I had a mental debate of who to put first, alas, Whiskey got #10. He's a cowboy, what's not to love? That mustache and his confidence, oh my god. His backstory makes me wanna comfort him so bad and just the reassurance, I feel like he'd also be extremely protective because of what happened with his ex wife and he doesn't want anything to happen to you as well. I feel like at some point he'd also like to become a father with you. Overall, so cute and probably good in bed as well.

#11 Dio Morissey

Oh my, it's certainly a switch up from the other Pedro boys. Much more blunt and dominant in general. But he's still super fine which got him the 11th spot. I know this man is extremely freaky in bed, and dominant as fuck too. Outside of the bedroom though, he'd give people death stares if he thinks they're looking at you weirdly and even if sometimes he's certainly quite strange, it has a certain charm to it don't you think?

#12 Silva

Now, I was debating whether or not to put Silva here as Strange Way of Life isn't really out yet, but there's gifs of him, so I decided why not? This ranking will definitely go up when it gets released, as now I simply struggle to make head canons with him cause we know so little about him. I just know he's very passionate and would defend you so bravely. He'd do anything for his man and it shows, and the cowboy hat looks good. This cowboy can totally ride me!! He's my beautiful queer rep too, and I swear if I see fem reader fics of this guy my gay ass is jumping you.

#13 Dieter Bravo

Our favorite (probably bisexual) actor and artist, he's just so cute and cuddly, he'd give you the warmest hugs and cuddles and would constantly need reassurance that you love him which would be so cute. Physicality is his love language most definitely and his favorite way to sleep is with you both cuddling. He's also extremely funny which is just adorable, especially with his sassiness.

#14 Ezra

Our other little space boy <3, he's beautiful, even if he ends up losing an arm, but I'd still love him. He'd definitely recite poems to you under the stars and just come up with nicknames for you. He also looks so soft and looks like the kind to fall asleep in your arms while smiling. He'd always be super grateful to have you and will do anything in his power to please you.

#15 Comandante Veracruz

I feel like he's the super stoic and cutting guy who's hard on the outside but a softy on the inside, kind of like Pero Tovar in a different way. And I know if anyone lays a finger on you he won't hesitate to pull out the guns if he thinks it's enough. With you, he's super gentle, almost like another person but would grieve your touch. He also wouldn't mind using some of that aggressiveness in bed.

#16 Max Phillips

Now I know Dio scored high but he's an exception, but I'm missing the mustache or some facial hair. Even then, Max is still pretty hot and I'd let him feed off my blood if he wants to. He also has a funny personality which gets him far, he's also extremely dominant in bed.

#17 Marcus Pike

He's so adorable but I barely remember the mentalist and didn't watch the episodes he's in, I might rewatch it just for him. But he's really cute, I love their hair and the mustache so that gets him the places above the 2 down below. But he definitely seems like the type to praise your every move. If I knew him better he'd probably overtake Max.

#18 Maxwell Lord

Now... for starters I know literally nothing about this man cause I haven't watched WW1984, and the look kinda just isn't it... he's cute though, passable and probably uses cheesy pickup lines to make you fall for him. Also he's got a got a good ass so that prevents him from being last.

#19 Dave York

Now he's better in looks than Maxwell, but I literally can't think of any headcanons of him since I don't know this character at all in the slightest, so uh... sorry Dave York fans, he might rise in this ranking if I ever watch the equalizer... Ahhh! With this the list comes to an end, once again, I love all Pedro boys with tiny little differences but overall they're all amazing in their own right <3 I know I missed some like him in the Casillero del Diablo ad, but that kind of barely counts as a character considering he doesn't even have a name. TOP 10 Talay Outfits explained:

10. Zebra Boy a stylish and flowy zebra print shirt with basic white slacks and talay’s signature white bag. this one is so silly but cool i had to include it. i actually am obsessed with both of the white & black print shirts tess owns but the other one is mostly worn my ohm in the series so i didn’t inlude it here (ep 2 when tess/talay goes to pester tun at the café). also i just like this scene a lot and couldn’t get over the “secret lover” -line. 

9. Reunion Blues a simple navy blue dress shirt and light colored pants plus talay’s round glasses. listen: am not a big fan of talay’s clothes in his own universe even if he looks adorable in them, but this one! this one is a legend. straight up iconic. he looks so pretty in dark blue and then we have this whole scene and ugh. just pure insanity. 

8. Goodbyes taste bitter an orange and white striped shirt and black jeans. am so obsessed with the v-neck of this shirt, it’s crazy. i don’t blame puen at all for instantly going like, “oh yes, that’s my bf now” bc honestly? very understandable. talay just looks so good in this shirt, holy hell. continues on the road of, “why must you dress up so nicely when the occasion is breaking my heart?” i guess these two are similar like that. 

7. Let us kiss again a red-blue-white striped sweater with red pants. i love this color combo on talay so much. blue and red just suit him. the shirt is also tight fitting and it’s amusing to see puen Struggling bc of it. man is not able to keep his hands off. it’s very understandable but pls sir, calm down. you’ve known each other like two weeks. and you still haven’t even told talay that you’re not kissing him just bc but bc you’re head over heels in love with him. get a grip. 

6. First Kiss a simple white sweatshirt and red/fucsia pants. i don’t want to say this but i have to say this: talay’s ass looks amazing in these pants. like, am not one to stare but oh boy. it’s right there! stealing the show! and then it’s combined with talay’s sexy wet hair after running through the rain to look for his long lost lover friend who he wants to make up with. Literally. bc they’re kissing by the end of this. and i scream.

The Green Sweater a yellow-green sweater combined with white pants. talay looks adorable in this with his guitar and the sweater paws. am not at all surprised that puen looks close to tears bc bitch, me too. it’s just So Soft and then it’s mixed with the guitar (+ the lotus flower) and talay singing a love song and. i want to hug him so bad, puen get out of the way it’s my turn now.

The Wedding Suit a light pink colored suit, apparently without a shirt underneath. this whole thing began with this suit. as i said, this one is 100% outshining the one puen wears in this scene. i am just in love with this suit; the color, the simplicity, the cut, the way talay wears it so casually. he looks amazing and positively ethereal. puen is marrying him on the spot. talay is thinking it’s a joke but i might just tell him it’s not. get a ring and be done with it, would you. this might sound controversial after me saying puen is rushing things with the kisses but i don’t actually have anything against it.

Loneliness is yellow a simple black sweatshirt with bright yellow pants. i feel like the more heartbreaking the scenes get, the better talay gets dressed. he’s always serving looks when am crying on my floor. i don’t mind tho bc why not have several mental breakdowns at the same time, saves me the time. he looks absolutely glorious in that black shirt, and the colored pants are a wonderful touch. if tess got nothing else, at least he's had the sense to buy all these clothes.

The Gray Jacket a textured gray jacket with a black shirt and white pants. the texture on this jacket makes me go wild bc it looks so nice to touch and the whole jacket looks so cozy. am wondering how talay can wear that with the heat but that’s fortunately something that doesn’t get to me through my screen. he looks very huggable once again. he looks positively radiant when he smiles. and it’s just a plus that puen looks so gone for him bc yeah, valid. am in love with this sunshine boy too.

Second chance a gray sweater with red details, combined with red pants. honestly talay’s best outfit in this whole show hands down. every time i start this ep, i am just blown away by this outfit. the styling team was going crazy that day. the shirt has a v-neck, the red details work so well, it fits talay nicely, the rolled sleeves, the delicate bag. the pants are tight fitting and make his legs look extra long and slim. especially in that billiard room lighting he just looks insanely pretty. i want to yell into the void. the void might yell back at me. 

Bonus: Striped Bathrobe a black and white striped robe, worn mostly for breakfast. i am not really sure what to call this but a bathrobe felt like the closest fitting one so i went with it. it’s crazy how this is literally the second outfit puen ever sees talay in if we don’t count talay being half naked. he got absolutely bewitched and talay is not even bothered. this striped robe is what truly mattered. and please let’s not talk about ai’dang.

a bit of a heart-throb???? looks like a long suffering grad student more than a man who’s been running from the military for years. where are his glasses? 4/10.

Lee Garbett - Immortal Hulk #6

super grizzled and super tired. trust me, this issue was exhaustion to the max. this is the haunted (hunted) man, and i’m honestly digging the flannel. gotta show those midwestern roots somehow. unfortunately all of these pluses don’t add up to an iconic bruce banner look, unless he was trying to steal wolverine’s. 5/10.

the scientist! prideful and yet kind, hiding a deep well of sadness and anti-military sentiments. 10/10.

unfortunately i’m not a big fan of the detailed, almost grotesque art style. but, i concede that it’s fitting for this run. anyway, this is a very expressive and tired bruce that still tries. 7/10.

Tom Fowler - Hulk Season One

a dangerous bruce. a scientist and a loner that is intimately aware of the potential to do both harm and good. the glasses are used really well in this comic, trust me. 100/10.

Salvador Larroca - Avengers (2013) #28

okay, i think im going to get some flak for this, but i really like this bruce. dangerous, but still looks like a guy off the street. the hair has the perfect amount of flop. i’ll forgive the lack of glasses and round up. 10/10.

really showing us how even the same artist will draw the same guy differently. this time, Stark (tm) edition. unfortunately this means he fits the “asshole engineer” profile more than the “scientist” one. 6/10.

(Epic!!!) Winnie the Pooh Movies Ranking !!! (HELL YEAH! )

been meaning to make it for some time now, and i am happy to announce a ranking of winnie the pooh theatrical releases (6 movies in total, not much sadly). theres no lore behind it, no epic origin story of this idea, this took lots of time, just lets get this nostalgia bread guys!!!

the one movie i’d like to get off the way right now is the newest Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey , which is such an awful abomination of a motion picture, it might just be one of the worst movies of the year. but we are here to judge pooh movies by their pooh-iness (heh), so when a movie is not having any of that, or entirely misses the point of what winnie the pooh is supposed to be, im skipping it in this ranking. and even if this waste of time of a movie were listed on wikipedia for pooh films, it would be ranked right here, on the last place.

if you know me, youd know im fascinated by the childish joy of life winnie the pooh represents, as well as this little worlds’ iconic characters, and even after few decades it has its distinctive charm. saying that, i wanted to point out that i dont consider any of the movies on this list any bad (accept the one above), and if you know anything about these movies, theyre really hard to dislike. youd have to have lots of talent to fuck up a winnie the pooh movie. i also wont be talking a lot about the characters since... come on, its winnie the pooh, you know them. plus they are very similar in every movie, theyre great, i know theyre great, you know theyre great, we all love them.

starting with The Tigger Movie (2000) on place 6th, its just a fine little movie. with lovely performance from Jim Cummings it has probably the best music sequence in the whole frenchise  (round the family tree i think). its a movie full of energy which is reflected in the animation style as well, since the characters are animated using multiple rough lines, similar to old disney movies. only two winnie the pooh films are animated this way and its a joy to look at. though with story simple and predictible, i feel like some children from foster families would resonate with the message.

i felt unfair putting Pooh’s Heffalump Movie (2005) this low, but the competition is severe and it wins over the tigger movie by a long shot anyways. first of  i like how this film directly contradicts the tigger movie in the very first scene, where a portrait of tiggers family is shown. yeah that was funny. anyway, the whole movie is beautiful to look at, the background colors fit scenes perfectly depending on the mood, and you can feel the locations (fe. the big forest) towering over characters, especially with roo (who the movie focuses on), where everything around him is big and scary, which also ties up to his conflict of wanting to be a grown-up. it was also welcomed to get a little insight at kangas and roo’s relationship, which might just be the first movie that did that. with one of the best songs out of all movies and its childish happiness, its a proud solid 5th place

Winnie the Pooh (2011) was a hard one to place. i have all the respect for this movie for being the last 2d animated movie from disney, and i cant believe i just watched it first time few weeks ago. its animation is the best from all the movies (not counting Christopher Robin, as 2d > 3d imo), its colorful and bouncy, worth watching for that alone. for some reason its comforting the last 2d movie is a pooh one heh. i found this ones story most fun to follow, and it felt the closest to the original book/movie. it was great seeing all the characters interacting (some never seen before) and having a role, none of them is forgotten, their screentime well balanced out. it might also just be second funniest outta the bunch! its incredible, great to show to kids movie.

i know it might be controversial to put this movie this high, especially since winnie the pooh 2011 might objectively be a better movie, but i have such a soft spot for Piglet's Big Movie (2003) and its fun and clever storytelling. its structured with multiple short stories that reference the main simple plot (in contrast with the original book), and each segment has a charming musical number. its songs might just be the best out of all the movies, and the lyrics can get stuck in your head for some time heh. the story flows perfectly, its sweet and fun, beside some moments when other characters (like surprisingly pooh) are just such assholes to piglet for no reason. huh, weird. anyway, super likable film, some might dissagree but an easy 3th place.

now i have no idea if this is controversial or not, but i remember i fell in love with Christopher Robin (2018) as soon as i saw it in cinema. the cinematography is outstanding, every scene (especially in the hundred-acer woods) looks like a masterpiece, and just like the animated pooh movies advantage from being animated, this movie takes full advantage from being a live-action - with some shots even looking like animation brought to life. the cgi on main characters looks sweet and soft, like you would like to hug them. its similar to how the plushies the characters were originally based on look if anything. i loved the movies choice to have a grown up christopher robin and its adorable story of him finding his childish joy. christopher robin's story in pooh movies was always about getting to terms with growing up, but not losing the child-like happiness and imagination you made up your little world with, and im glad this movie kept to that. poohs character is also great, with what we didnt see before - his questions are dumbly thought-provoking and work incredibly well with christopher robins character. overall a great movie which, despite being a live-action, does just what every pooh movie - makes you smile the whole time youre watching it.

and the winner is (dramatic pause). the good ol' Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977). if im being honest i was not looking forward to watching this one, since i was somehow convinced it would be the most boring outta the bunch. but big surprise, its a super funny and adorable flick. the score is an iconic masterpiece which gets stuck in your head and its lovely to hear it referenced in later pooh movies. its such an imaginative movie and overall very fun, all characters have their moments and are just so lovable. its also really funny! im telling you its a great comedy! if you never seen it, highly recommend this one! animated perfection. timeless masterpiece

it might sound cheesy but its great a frenchise like this exists. its good to have a couple of movies about little things and silly shenanigans. i feel like we all need to come back to this little child’s world from time to time.

BTS if they had a Pokemon Team

Before I start I just wanna point out the obvious : This is very unserious content, and of course it is only my opinion, so if this is offending to you, please do not take it seriously. You are of course free to disagree and I would be happy to hear your ideas about this ! It's just something I made for fun, and since I love Pokemon and adore BTS to death, this idea just popped up in my brain and I couldn't get rid of it.

Also I am so sorry but the picture quality might drop.

(I know they have more than 6 Pokémon but hey, 6 is too restricting XD)

Let's start with our favourite Leader, Namjoon ! In order, there are Mega Alakazam, Mega Venusaur, Mega Ampharos, Komala, Espeon, Reuniclus, Metagross, Braviary and Crawdaunt.

He posesses mostly Psychic Types for obvious reasons (my guy rocks his 148 IQ). Alakazam, Metagross and Reuniclus are said to be three of the most intelligent Pokémon out there, which sounded fitting. Venusaur represents Namjoons love for plants, and Komala his assigned emoji amongst the fandom. Then there is Crawdaunt, who stands for his interest in crabs (the amount of crabs this man has lifted up from the sand is unreal). Ampharos is said to emit light to guide other Pokémon to safety, like a lighthouse, which I thought sounded fitting to represent his leadership, guiding the other members and working with them through hardships to get into the "light". Metagross is also meant to represent his strength, both physically and mentally.

Also, I gave each member an Eeveelution, so for Namjoon I chose Espeon.

Next up is Jin ! For him, we have Milotic, Lovedisc, Vaporeon, Minior, Dedene, Empoleon, Nidoqueen, Chansey and Nidoking.

For Jin, I chose mostly Water types because I feel like this fits him well, most Water Pokemon are beautiful, almost ethereal, but also powerful and strong, so I think it suits Jin. Plus, it reminds me of his Photofolio, where his main theme was the Sea. Milotic and Empoleon are famously beautiful and elegant Pokemon, which, yes, I mean he IS World Wide Handsome. Lovedisc and Chansey stand for his iconic pink microphone while also expressing his loving, caring side for both his members and fans, Dedene stands for the mouse emoji mostly associated with him and Nidoqueen is also supposed to emphasize the nurturing "oldest" side of Jin. Minior represents his Solo Single "Astronaut" and Nidoking is supposed to irradiate the "Big Brother of the group" vibes.

And of course I chose Vaporeon as his Eeveelution.

Next is Yoongi ! In order we habe Obstagoon, Greninja, Umbreon, Litten, shiny Haxorus, Lillipup, Alolan Persian, Spheal and Hydreigon.

So for Yoongi, I primarely chose Dark type Pokémon, because I thought they would reflect his amazing hardcore rap skills the best. Obstagoon is a music related Pokémon, which felt fitting. Greninja is supposed to mirror the traditional aspect displayed in "Daechwita" (I knoow, Shinobis are Japanese, but Pokémon are a Japanese franchise, so finding traditional Korean Pokemon is practically hopeless XD). Hydreigon refers to Yoongis three personas (SUGA, Agust D and Yoongi himself) and then we have Litten and Alolan Persian, two cats that refer to the cat emoji we associate with him. Lillipup is a reference to his dog Holly, and together with Spheal is supposed to balance out the whole dark edgy vibe of teh other Pokémon with cuteness and softness that Yoongi also displays. Spheal is also supposed to evoque his beautiful, round shaped face. Finally Haxorus reflects both again traditional vibes (Samurai) that loosely link to "Daechwita", as well as Yoongis kind and protective nature, tough but loving on the inside (since Haxorus is described as being kind but very protective).

His Eeveelution is of course Umbreon !

Here we have Hobis Team ! So for Hobi, we have Volcarona, Meganium, Solgaleo, Pachirisu, Oricorio, Jolteon, Alolan Raichu and Vigoroth.

I chose mostly electric type Pokémon, which are meant to stand for his energetic, upbeat and bright nature. Oricorio represents of course Hoseoks Love for dancing, and Vigoroth (a Pokémon that can never stay in one place) his energy. Meganium stands for one of his favourite colours, green, as well as the healing power this man holds (depressions greatest fear is Hoseok !), since Meganium posesses healing powers. Volcarona stands for his burning passion, and Solgaleo illustrates his sunshine nature (i didn't want to give any of teh members a legendary because then everybody would have just legendaries XD, but I mean Castform is ugly and Hobi deserves better !). Pachirisu stands for his squirrel emoji. I wanted to include the more seriosu side he shows in 'Jhope in the Box" but couldn't really find a Pokémon that would fit in this team.

And his Eeveelution is Jolteon.

Here is Jimins team ! In order, Shiny Swanna, Togekiss, Hatterene, Primarina, Sylveon, Altaria, Alcremie, Shiny Ninetales and Gothitelle.

So I gave Jimin mostly Fairy types, because just like him, they are ethereal, pretty, elegant, graceful and charming. I've also given him flying types since his emoji is a little chick and his voice is so birdlike and enchanting ! Primarina and Altaria, two famous singing Pokemon, represent his amazing vocals, Swanna stands for his iconic "Black Swan" performance and Alcremie references his lost jams (lol) since it's also sweet food. Gothitelle stands a bit out of the team but it reminded me of these gorgeous pictures of Jimins Photofolio (god this black leather outfit was the death of me). Hatterene represents his very sensible side, as well as his beauty but also very mesmerizing, almost dangerous (at least to us Armies) side of him when he performs on stage !

His Eeveelution is Sylveon.

Ok, so this is Taehyungs team ! In order, there are Ursaluna, Mudsdale, Glaceon, Swampert, Flygon, Lycanroc and Aurorus.

It was kind of hard to choose for Taehyung because he is such an interesting person ! I went with motly rock/ground types, since they remind me of the beautiful earthy and vintage aesthetic he often displays. I wanted to give him a Tiger Pokémon, but ultimately decided to go with the Bear emoji and chose Ursaluna. Mudsdale references his Photofolio in which he rode a horse. Lycanroc represents his love for Yeontan, and Aurorius mirrors his ethereal beauty (as does Glaceon). Swampert stands for his strenght and Flygon for his duality : beauty on one side and dangerous while performing on stage !

His eeveelution is Galceon (which reminds me a bit of the pictures with jewels on his cheeks).

Last but not least, Jungkook is up next ! In order we have Machoke, Cinderace, Bunnelby, Flareon, Houndoom, Dragonite, Lucario and Bewear.

For Jungkook, I thought Fighting and Firetypes where the most fitting for him. Fighting because he is known to practice boxing and martial arts and because he has gotten quite buff over the years, and fire for his warmth and kind nature. Bewear and Dragonite are supposed to represent this duality, the "tough but sweet and loving" side of Kookie, and Bunnelby and Cinderace stand for his bunny emoji. Houndoom represents his dog Bam and Flareon for his warmth and passion (throwback to the "play with puppies" video).

His eeveelution is Flareon.

Also I know the Pokémon sizes are not accurate but I mean... it is pretty difficult to size them according to their official height.

Drinks

It had been 6 months since you had met Victoria de Angelis. You had earned an important internship as an assistant to the make-up artists who were in charge of the band members iconic looks. Recently, you had been doing Vic’s make-up. When you first started working as an assistant make-up artist, you were of course excited to be able to travel around the world with your favorite band. One thing you did not count on was the butterflies that would gather in your stomach every time you saw Vic or spent time with her. It seemed like her blue eyes could reach right into your very soul. She would chat with you and ask you how you were doing, taking a sincere interest in your well-being. It seemed like she knew the effect she had on you since she would lean closer to you, gently brushing your arm sometimes, making you blush. You loved how her skin was soft beneath your fingers when you would pat on her makeup. 

It came as a surprise when Vic wondered up to you. The band wasn’t performing until tomorrow, so there wasn’t any reason for her to specifically talk to you. As she approached she was wearing her usual smile, lips curled in a slightly mischievous manner. 

“Hey y/n” Vic called out as she got closer to you.

“I was wondering if you would like to get drinks with us later down at the pub. It's close to our hotel room” Vic said, looking a little unsure.

You were shocked and hesitated before you answered her. What did this mean?

“Well…” Vic prompted you.

“Yeah, I would really love to go out to drinks with you”

Vic quirked an eyebrow at you when you said love

“Love?” Vic asked teasingly

You felt your cheeks flush.

“I meant um like. Like I would just like to get drinks with you, not love because that sounds crazy. Just like casual you know. You know when people are like I would like to do something. I’m not like crazy or anything.”

Vic giggled at your babbling.

“So see you around 8?” 

You were glad she cut you off before you said anything more.

“Yeah, sounds good.”

You spent a long time trying to pick out an outfit. It took several outfits before you were settled on a final one. You went with boot cut jeans that were embroidered with pink, yellow, and red flowers. You then pulled on a black t-shirt with Queen’s crest on it. You got the t-shirt years ago at a local hot topic. It reminded you of home. You added pearl earrings and a small gothic cameo necklace. You were black laced boots. Your make up consisted of some green eye shadow, black eye liner and a purple lipstick from Revlon which was your favorite brand. You looked at your hair, carefully pulling back a strand of it back with a pink flower. Before leaving you checked yourself in the mirror for a final time. Make-up, hair and clothes looked good.

As you entered the pub, you saw Vic and the boys sitting at a table. Vic waved you over, smiling brightly. The boys were engaged in a discussion so they were oblivious to you. Vic looked a bit flustered. She was wearing a blue net crop top and a green silk skirt. Of course she looked stunning.

“You look gorgeous,” Vic said leaning across the table, in a soft voice.

You felt the heat raise in your cheeks.

“You look amazing” you said, trying to not look directly into her eyes. You felt like you could get lost just staring into her eyes. You felt like you could stare into her eyes forever. The blue was like the ocean, full of mystery and depth. 

You were shaken out of your reverie by the waiter coming over and asking what everyone wanted to drink. A round of lime and strawberry margaritas were ordered for the table in addition to some appetizers. After 30 minutes you were feeling the drinks a little. Vic was definitely tipsy. The boys asked if you could help her back to her room, since they wanted to stay a little longer and watch the football match (soccer). Vic leaned against you as you walked back to the hotel. The lights of the town were twinkling, throwing shadowy figures around. People were walking hand in hand, stopping occasionally to look into the window displays of closed stores. A group of teens were in a central park. They were singing and strumming a guitar. One of them was keeping a beat by tapping his leg. Vic perked up hearing the music. She gently tugged at your arm.

“We were just like them,” She said, pointing towards the kids.

“At look at where you are know” you replied smiling 

It took longer than expected to get back to Vic’s room since she was walking slowly. Finally, you helped her into her room. Vic collapsed on her bed kicking off her shoes not bothering to try and undress. 

“Are you gonna be ok?” you asked, preparing to leave.

She rolled onto her back gazing sleepily at you. 

“Come lay down?” she said, patting the bed beside her. You kicked off your shoes, feeling too tired and tipsy to say no.

You laid down, next to her. She pulled your arms around you so that you were spooning her. She nuzzled against you. Her hair smelled like vanilla, just like her perfume. You couldn’t help but feel content. 

“Goodnight y/n” she mumbled before drifting off to sleep.

“Goodnight Vic” you said back, brushing her cheek with your fingers. 

It was the best night sleep you had gotten in a really long time. All the stress seemed to have left your body. You awoke when you heard knocking on the door. You blinked the sleep from your eyes feeling disoriented for a minute. Remembering last night, you looked around for Vic. She was still asleep, blankets pulled tightly around her. Somehow she had taken all the blankets during the night.

You got up and answered the door. Ethan was standing there.

He looked surprised. Before he could stop himself he asked

“What are you doing here?” 

“Ohh, Vic was pretty tipsy when we got back. She literally just fell asleep with her clothes on and asked me to stay with her”

You gestured towards your own clothes. 

“Well, I just wanted to let Vic know that we are meeting in an hour” 

“I’ll tell her” you replied, closing the door. 

As you walked back to the bed, Vic had gotten up. 

“Who was that?” Vic asked, yawning and rubbing her eyes. 

“Ethan. She said the band was meeting in an hour” 

She nodded.

“I should probably get cleaned up and grab some breakfast” 

“Me too. I’m going to head back to my room and shower.” you replied.

“How about we meet for breakfast downstairs?” Vic suggested.

“Sounds great” 

As you turned to go Vic reached out and took your hand.

“I really loved going out for drinks with you. I’ve actually been wanting to ask you out for drinks for a while, well technically since we first met. As I’ve gotten to know you more, I’ve fallen even deeper in love with you. I don’t know if you feel the same way but I really hope you do” 

You and Vic held eye contact for a few seconds.

“Of course I feel the same way Vic. I fell for you the moment i saw you. You were talking to Thomas and turned around. There was just something about your smile”

Vic walked forward pulling you into a tight hug. The hug lasted for about a minute but you wanted it to last forever. As you parted, Vic kissed you lighty on the lips. 

“See you downstairs then?” Vic said turning to walk into the bathroom

“Definitely” you replied, cheeks red.

This was something you had dreamed for and it was finally coming true.

F1 Re-Watch 2013: Round 16 - India

This race man... I was stupidly lucky that the BBC showed this race live that season and I just remember waking up before 6am to watch it and being so anxious the whole time even though I'm 90% sure that Seb lead the race from start-to-finish 😅

Anyway, I don't need to talk about how historic this race was bc we've all seen the gifs and picture of the now infamous post-race donuts (and Seb bowing to his car 😭😭😭), so let's just jump in (and at some point have a category 5 sebfucker meltdown)

ngl I have been saving this one and I had a mildly shit day today, so I'm finally ticking this off the list

(I'm still holding myself to have this season watch through finished by the time pre-season testing for this year is finished 😅)

also also shoutout to the Buddh International Circuit she was a real one

Okay starting grid overview: Seb pole (fork found in the kitchen), Rosberg P2, Lewis P3, Webber P4, Alonso P8, Jenson P10 and Jev P14

(iirc, Grosjean and Alonso were the other two podium finishers, but I know it wasn't the Mercs)

Helmet watch: the all black helmet is one of my faves. An iconic look for what turned out to be a very iconic race

Now fun fact I learned somewhat recently is that the who reason why we see the TPs in the garage right before the race start and then suddenly cut to them being on the pitwall mid race is that no one is allowed to be on the pitwall during the race start for safety reasons (ie in case there's a crash and a car goes into the barrier between the pitwall and the circuit)

(you can tell that F1 is my autistic special interest can't you?)
