They held each other in the hug, Leo’s body shaking with his quiet sobs, while Splinter gripped him securely. Leo couldn’t tell how long they were like that, sitting on the floor of the crumbling hotel lobby, and holding onto each other the way only a father and son could. It could have been a few seconds, or several hours, but it still didn’t feel like enough time.

I am feeling very very soft so I drew something softer. There shall be soft moments in this story because while drawing this I was like "yes... more of that. I shall need a lot of that" and I already have a scene in my head that is really hhhhhghghg s o f t mainly because Big Blues scarf became now a huge shawl like it is massive and unfolded probably is big enough to swaddle up a Baby Blue and carry him around with it and I am so gonna utilize this fact.

Also goes without saying but this Big Blue will obliterate anything that would even dare to look funny at the little one. Full on momma bear mode activated the moment he meets his younger self, there is no off switch. Also idk drawing an older Leo hugging his younger self is.. so damn relaxing and healing I dunno how to explain but this did something to me.
