As they walked out of the rink, Rosé was the first one to talk, “Thank you for waiting up with her even if your shift was over. I really appreaciate it”.

Denali smiled, nodding as she made sure the sleeping kid in her arms was secure enough while they walked to the older woman’s car, “It’s always a pleasure to stay with miss Maisie here, she’s quite the charmer,” she replied, her voice quiet to not disturb the little redhead.

“She has that effect on everyone, must have taken from me. Certainly not from that excuse of a man that is her father,” the other woman commented, Denali could feel the voice getting a bitter note.

“Oh, she has definitely got it from you, red hair and all,” the brunette tried to lighten up the mood, watching as the woman’s face crack a smile.

When they reached Rosé’s car, Denali let the redhead open the passenger door. As she placed Maisie on the seat, her mother was on the driver seat, straightening her kid but still trying not to wake her up.

The brunette instinctively went to grab the seatbelt and clipped it in place, not noticing just how close her face had gotten to the redhead.

When their eyes met, she felt her heart beating furiously, wondering if Rosé was able to hear it.

The older woman was so close Denali could count the freckles that adorned her skin if she wanted, those hazel eyes drawing her in. She swore she saw Rosé’s eyes dart from her eyes to her lips for a split second, causing the brunette’s heart to skip a beat.

“I-I think my job is done here,” she managed to say after what felt like an eternity, breaking their moment.

The redhead was quiet for a moment, “Thank you for everything, Denali. I... We’ll see you next week,” she replied as the younger woman gently closed the car door.

Denali stood there as she watched the car take off from the parking lot. Her heart refused to slow down.

She wasn’t falling for the mother of one of her student, right?

i have...so many thoughts about this season lmao. but i’m gonna try not to air them all out because i’m sure a few of them are controversial. i actually hadn’t clocked “rosenali” at all until rose called denali cute out of drag in untucked lol so that has gone pretty over my head up until that clip i reblogged earlier hahaha. my top four faves are olivia, denali, rose, and symone. i’ve been rooting for symone from the start because she’s from AR like my best friend is and he knows other drag queens who’ve performed with her and the representation is a big deal for their town/state, which was really exciting! i also happen to really like utica, which i guess isn’t a popular opinion but i don’t see her making it to the finals. as for the mean girls thing....ugh lol i-.... yeah. many thots 

idk overall i’ve been consistently frustrated with how much they’ve been stretching the season out unnecessarily. i kinda checked out after tamisha and la la ri were sent home because i liked them a LOT and didn’t find their eliminations fair. i am, however, very impressed with the precautions and rules that went into filming. i have so much respect for the crew on that show for being strict and showing how they managed to pull it off safely!! but i’m ready for it to end cuz a lot of elements of it is driving me crazy help

not to be rosenali trash but i find it VERY interesting that they have never pecked on the lips not even as a joke bc with others it doesn't seem to be a big deal at all? what if it seems too dangerous to them bc they're afraid to catch real feelings😭😭

they for sure do the casual kiss thing rosé w all his friends bcs there’s a clip of it from denalis brooklyn show. i just don’t think they’re around each other that often 😬
