The Linda Gronlund at Barcelona Neck Preserve in Sag Harbor, bordering East Hampton, is magnificent even when windy and freezing - an you know me! I’m not one to advertise freezing cold, windy, crappy weather! Like the other parks and preserves I’ve been exploring here in the Hamptons, it is a treasure in its own and the pups and I enjoyed walking the beach and gathering shells. Also this place has its own energy... it’s the first nature I’ve walked where I smelled pot along the way! I don’t ask and I don’t go looking! But it just means that people love to come here to get very happy! Well yes, Sometimes I have to lay aside my outdoor gear for work clothes. Happy Friday to you all! Do you find joy in your work if you have another job other than travel blogging? From mental health therapist to Realtor with a few still existing businesses in between I have always enjoyed what the roles that I’ve taken on otherwise life is just wasted. Today I enjoy what I do as a FaceTime Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma related conditions, notable depression in all its shapes and sizes. And I’m also a realtor, an exciting field where it turns out, and end up doing a lot of counseling with clients and people I meet. I stopped working at clinics and started my own private practices fret I got held at gunpoint by a court-mandated client, and another one held a knife to my neck. It wasn’t very pleasant! Lol All I can say is that I’m grateful for my life everyday, and I’m grateful for the people in it. I’m forever in awe of this beautiful world in spite of the horrible things that also happen. What I know is that we have a duty to ourselves to live happily, fulfilled by the choices we make and the life we create for ourselves. We are always in charge and traveling is one powerful way to spark that inner engineer and designer of life. Thank you Tuesday - Every morning I write in my gratitude journal and meditate and pray for the day to go smoothly and gracefully and that all that happens during the day may be for my highest good and the highest of all around me. Then I review my day and my to-dos and I always make sure to give my self the gift of nature, with water a priority. I’m a healer amongst everything else I do in life, and I would like to thank my deary friend @annickblossomlife for her support and for her Light touching my life as a Lightworker, and I use water as a conduit for healing but to refuel and resource myself like the flux and reflux of the waves. Wherever I’ve lived in the world I’ve always chosen to live by the ocean or a lake. Nature surrounds us with the purpose to love, heal, and nurture us and we are to love, respect and cherish it as we mutually serve and dominate each other. Here at Cedar Point Beach I find it to be one of the most powerful places to connect with Nature’s gifts and to regenerate. This place reflects to me how much we are loved and how much the Universe loves us and gives us what we ask for as much as we allow it to give and inasmuch as we give attention to it. Rocky Point, Montauk, NY. I work with a lot of people and the best way for me to recalibrate is the beach, the ocean, nature’s most cleansing avenue available to us. Here at Rocky Point in Montauk, the energy is powerful. When you come here you’ll definitely experience renewal and an emergence of new energies. I’m so grateful I’ve discovered this place. The 8-mile hike in the freezing cold was unequivocally worth it. On my way back I came across a man with his labradoodle who told me that there are UFOs nearby. Do you guys believe in them? And where in Montauk would they be hiding? I went home and started googling about it and it turns out that there are hundreds of articles over the years of UFO/alien sightings in Montauk, including conspiracies about the government hiding UFO experiments in subterranean tunnels hidden within the cliffs by Camp Hero.
