LA SERBARE, 2022, Performance mit David Dragan

The two performing artists share two things, they are gender queer and have a migration background. These things result in a constant need of fighting for recognition. On the one hand in Switzerland, as foreigners, on the other hand in their home country Romania as genderqueer people. In the performance “LA SERBARE” they negotiate the relationship of their gender crossness in connection with their descent. They question the traditions and customs that presuppose conforming gender images and reinforce their sense of alienation.
