Notes:

Mikey really likes taking photos of me. Especially when a) I'm not paying attention or b) I'm pissed at him.

Our favorite hobby together is napping (and fighting) so all of our friends and family take photos of us sleeping in random ass places (not included is a photo of us sleeping on the train).

His first love is his bike. His second is dessert. I'm in third place.

I mentioned it in Kei's post, but they're competing for number of hickies.

50/50 chance that our current text thread is being communicated exclusively through cat memes.

Even though we're legally married, I spend the least amount of time with him (our schedules just do not work (and we get hella toxic)), so when he's feeling needy he sends me selfies of his back and shoulders because he knows it's my one weakness.

Not included is his folder of my "top ten hottest brawls" where he has them ranked based on how hot I look covered in someone else's blood. There's a subfolder in there of all the others that don't crack the top ten; he rotates them from time to time when the mood strikes him.

Fun fact unrelated to Mikey's camera roll: I don't exist in the story until after Takemichi makes his final time leap.

I was trying to figure out how I wanted to expand on some of the independent relationships within the polyships, and then @zanarkandskylines tagged me in the selfship camera rolls, and it was the perfect solution.

Notes:

Kei and I are competing to get the best photos of Taka because he doesn't like being in front of the camera.

He takes a photo of EVERY SINGLE new pet that comes into the shop. Our text messages are like 90% just photos of random animals.

He is competing with Mikey on how many hickies they can give me in one go (they think I don't know about it).

His camera roll is FULL of photos of me and Taka together. He takes a lot of photos of me and him, sure, but even more of me and Taka.

Every time we go out for a ride, he insists on taking a photo of us in our helmets.

He has a locked album full of photos that I've sent him that's just me posing in lingerie on his bike.

I'm taking everyone's "open tags" and claiming them for myself. Also, I don't know how insta works.

Takashi mostly likes to post behind the scenes/sneak peeks of his new collections (the secret is that the stuff he's posting is like five seasons out).

If Keisuke isn't posting photos of me and/or Taka, he's posting photos of the latest creatures they have at the pet shop.

Mikey doesn't post very often, but when he does, it's usually terrifying POV videos of him on the road/track or "complaints" about his mechanic. Sometimes it's me.

All three of them have multiple versions of the top left photo.

Rindou doesn't post anything to his personal socials, and the accounts for the club are run by someone else entirely. (We're divorced anyway at this point, so does it even matter? Answer: yes, yes it does.)

I have too many accounts to keep track of (one for Toman friends + family (main), one for the Sukehiro clan, one for Haitani Consulting, one for book reviews, and a secret one for "stalking")

I still haven't posted anything about ace x senku (because fuck him), but I'm thinking about how that ship handles our dynamic.

Fundamentally, ace x senku and mikace are the same exact ship. INTP x INTP at our very worst. Competitive and methodical and lofty goals and misunderstandings and over analyzing motivations.

But where mikace becomes very codependent very quickly, even just as friends - ace x senku is forced apart right when we would have become codependent, and have to grow as individuals separately from each other. I think Senku is dead for a good while. Senku has to learn how to work through his blocks without me there to bounce ideas off of.

Which is why Ryusui is an important part of ace x senku. I have to learn to heal from Senku's "betrayals" (yes, plural) and Ryusui provides the love and understanding for me to do that. Ryusui grounds me and shows me a different way of viewing the world. I haven't figured out our break-up yet, but I know that it's going to be amicable and as friends. Ryusui is going to realize that the person I need, now that I've grown and healed, isn't him. And he'll be okay with it because he just wants to see me happy.

Mikace doesn't learn how to exist without each other. We break up every other week. We make our friends pick sides. When we're younger (15/16) we get into cat fights. More than once, we've both ended up with black eyes and sprained wrists or ankles because we thought a sparring match would help solve an argument. We do eventually grow as individuals, but all of our growth happens much too late in the relationship and only after a dozen or so interventions, led by Takemichi.

So yeah, mikace and ace x senku are the same ship, fundamentally. They both bring out the worst in me, and I believe I'd bring out the worst in them (this is also why mikace is exclusively final timeskip). But because of a correctly timed Tsukasa, ace x senku is a much healthier ship (when we get there, eventually; it's pretty toxic for a long while after the empire is dissolved).

Notes:

Rin spends a lot of time on pinterest and instagram looking to see what other clubs are doing and what the masses are flocking to, and saves it all to his phone.

After four remodels in two years, I had to tell him to cut it out. We committed to something basic but classy that allows for customizability when he feels like changing the theme for specific events or holidays or when the whim strikes.

Despite having been married (a legal necessity at the time) and now divorced, our relationship has always been like that of siblings. I can count the number of times that we've kissed on one hand, and they were all for the benefit of social media i.e. keeping the illusion alive.

We're both workaholics, him with the club and me with the consulting firm. Ran snuck a clause into both of our employment contracts for "legally obligated dates and/or vacations". We have to have four dates a month and take a minimum of a four-day vacation every two months together.

This clause was put in place while we were still married, but our divorce did not void it. So he takes photos of us together to prove to Ran that we are having fun.

Which we are! Our working and personal relationships are at their best immediately after a date or vacation.

Not included are the snapchats that he sends Mikey where he has us posed like a romantically involved couple. It's just to piss Mikey off, because Rin thinks it's SO funny that he'll always be my first husband.

Also not included are our wedding and divorce tattoos. He "proposes" once a year (see aforementioned snapchats to Mikey), and we go and get them refreshed because they're finger tattoos. Just black lines on our left ring fingers and each other's initials crossed out on our left middle fingers.

Notes:

Taka likes to collect photos of scenery to help inspire his designs. We go away at least once a month for a three-day weekend to spend time exploring and finding inspiration.

There is not a single photo of himself in his camera roll - even in cutesy couple photos, it's just me and Kei rather than the three of us. (I am allowed to take two photos a year of the three of us together. One at New Year's, and one for my birthday. This has not kept me and Kei from trying to get photos of the three of us together at every opportunity.)

Not included are the hundreds of photos every month that he takes of his sisters for his mom.

Also not included are the photos of me and Kei modeling his prototypes because those are taken with a digital camera (there are actual models hired to model the final designs, but he secretly prefers the photos of me and Kei).

Hey buys me flowers every week, and he takes a photo each time so that when he next goes to the florist, he never buys the same combo of flowers twice. We're at the point where he has to visit three separate florists for one bouquet.
