Hey! The links aren't working on mobile :/

We double checked and it was working for mods who use iPhones, but found it created an error for Android. We've changed the way we linked the pages, and hopefully this clears up the problem. The mod who uses an Android is still running into a problem, but the pages do load in browser, including in mobile browser.

If they still aren’t working for you, we’ve included all pertinent information here! (Hopefully our read-more works; otherwise, we apologize for the long post!)

Backup plans:

Pinch-hitters may be contacted at any time between September 8 and November 16 in the case that a contributor drops. However, if a contributor drops after November 16, we feel that it will be too short of a period for the pinch-hitter to produce zine standard work as we will be unable to offer long final submission deadlines (discussed below). All mods have been working on last minute pinch-hit works since the zine announcements to fill in any last minute works gaps and this will be the only case in which a mod’s work is printed in the zine.

Timing is everything!

Contributors can only be granted a 3-5 day extension from the final submission date, as our zine formatter will be doing the majority of their work over their break. The check-ins preceding the final submission date will be used by mods to ensure contributors are still committed to contributing to the zine. Contributors will have a week grace period after check-ins if they fail to check-in, after which we will assume they’ve dropped and contact pinch-hitters as necessary.

Mods:

Mod Jo is both an artist and a writer! An invaluable part of the team here at Stammi ViciNews, they are in charge of layout and making sure our zine will be the best newspaper the world has ever seen! To find out more about them, you can find them here on tumblr or here on twitter, but a word of caution: Jo made Indesign their bitch, and you could be next.

Mod Duckie is a writer and avid duck enthusiast. As a master of the spreadsheet, they’re in charge of internal organization and finances on our team. You can read more about their previous work here on tumblr and here on twitter. Get good enough at organization, recruit, and they might just take you under their wing!

Mod Rimi is a writer and can often be found crying about dogs. They’re in charge of advertising and outreach for our team; find them here on tumblr and here on twitter. If you swing by their office, bring a mug and be prepared for a chat. They’ll make you tea, but they never shut up.
