he sighed and sat with her. “look, helping people is a great thing. but you have to think of your own safety and health when doing so. I mean hell now I may have to go on this mission by myself because of this.” he rubbed the bridge of his nose. “listen just promise me you’ll come talk to me about your ideas so I or someone can supervise you. that way if something happens you can be properly taken care of.”

Albert looked at Hunter with a look that almost seemed hurt by what he said. “Wait, you’re not going to let me go with you?” What Hunter said about thinking things through before conducting his experiments didn’t bother her, she knew he was right. However, the possibility that he couldn’t go with Hunter on missions bothered her. “Why? I can still be useful.”

Hunter and Albert had been called once again to take on another task, to track down a strange anomalous source of dark energy. The Russian Government had struck a contract with The Organization and hunter's team was selected for the mission. Huntersat watching througg a thermal scope for anyting out of the ordinary. He thought to himself how long the two of them would be stuck out here in the middle of nowhere. He occasionally checked a gieger counter for background radiation due to the proximity of their position to the site of the Tsar bomba test. The background radiation was higher then it was a couple days ago.

"Al.....AL.."

He kicked alberts foot lightly.

"Get up, we need to leave. The radiation levels are getting into dangerous levels and we need to find a better place to hold up."

He then pulled out a map.

"About twelve miles from here there is an old research base the soviets used to test chemical agents, the facility's been cleaned out but i think it'll serve our purpose."

The archangel swiveled and turned in the dark clear sky, full moon lighting her up from above and casting her shadow over the land below her. Massive crimson feathered wings beat the air, proelling her forward at great speeds on her mission, determined to track down the cult and its overly powerful leader that she had been sensing and hearing about.

A white haired cat girl with tan skin was wandering on all fours around some of the ruins of her desert home. She had decided on her own to try and guard them from bandits despite no one asking her to, yellow eyes keeping an eye out for anyone suspicious. Out of the corner of them she saw someone walking towards the entrance.

Quickly she ran up to them, forming a spear from sand in her hands, and pointed it at them with cat ears pulled back. “You! What are you doing here? You aren’t planning on tomb robbing are you?”

Albert had just finished explaining to Alucard and Anderson that his most recent experiment had failed and detonated all over him, causing some...unforeseen ramifications. Anderson listened and pondered on ways to help but could not seem to come up with anything. Alucard, however, was busting his gut laughing at what the failed experiment had done to Albert.

“It’s not funny Alucard!” Alberts voice rang out, a feminine tone replacing his usual boyish voice. “I have no idea how long this will effect me. For all I know, it could be permanent!”

“I’m sorry, just give me a second.” Alucard took a few breaths to compose himself and gather his thoughts. “Look, the only reason I’m laughing is because you’ve finally had some form of punishment come from your constant tinkering and tampering.”

“Still, this is no time to be mocking the poor lad...I mean lass. There has to be something that can fix this.” Anderson chimed in, trying to make the situation a little lighter.

“There’s never been a documented case of a gender swapping potion. This is completely new to me. Ok, maybe if I recreate what I did, it might reverse the effects.”

“Well there you go,” Alucard clapped his hands together. “Just one question though, should we keep calling you Albert or should we call you Alberta now?” He chuckled a little as Albert glared at Alucard, clearly unamused with his little joke.

“Just get me these materials so I can try to fix this.” Albert wrote down a list on a spare piece of paper then handed it to Alucard once he was finished. “Please hurry, last thing I need is this effect be irreversible after too much time passes.”

Anderson and Alucard nodded and left to retrieve the materials needed. Albert sat on a stool and put his head in his hands.

The call had gone out between the three powerhouse warriors, resulting in a meeting of the three widowed mates in the center of the Irish moors, far from most human life.

Vampire, Archangel, and Namekian settled in to talk and vent over the loss of their mates, power surging, ebbimg and flowing between the three as they spoke quietly.

"So now what?"

"War of course. I have the Host at my beck and call if need be."

"I still have my giamt form and the multi form to help out without loss of power."

"And I have the Berserker gene. Alright, anything else?"

Huntress hummed softly as she swept through the air over the church she and Anderson stayed in, keeping close to the ground on her short flight. At this time of day the sun was just getting done with risinf in the sky and she had always had a soft spot for it.
