Whats to stop Erik from switching werewolves to werecats 👀

We don't know how far he's gonna take this AU so like , Werecats would be cool as fuck

I have an entire thing on Werecats so like I'm ready to rant about them (they're so underrated 😔 I love them)

If so , what big cats would the wolves even be? Who would lead the pack (assuming the structure stays the same)?

Ideas:

Shaw line - Lions (come on) , David would have a darker mane/coat, noted to be very attractive in real life as well, dark manes mean better fighting ability etc etc , Gabriel would have had a lighter color (David got the color from his mom)

Greer line - Cheetahs, it just fits to me, Cheetah Milo WOO

Talbot line - Leopards, again I feel like it fits, I was also thinking Pumas

Unlike actual cats irl , Werecat packs would compose of different species of cats united under a lion family line (or any cat could do, leadership rank determined by bouts for leadership)

Betas are also picked as the one who lost the leadership bout would become Beta if they wanted to accept the role

Werecats are a species similar to werewolves, so they smell similarly and its hard to tell between them, both groups are social to each other and are very friendly, often seen together as ally packs and share joint territory (very rare for a wolf pack to reject a cat pack's help etc)

Werecats are naturally more into magic, being able to pick up other magic types quickly, most like elemental/energetic magic, a rare few can even copy other species exclusive magics (get it, hint because were/cats can blend into their surroundings, ha.. I'm a nerd for this shit okay 😭)

All species love Werecats, they're naturally friendly and very powerful, physically

In human form, Werecats have even sharper canines, which can confuse others to think they are Vampires

All Werecats are able to naturally communicate with other Werecats while in shifted form as well

Hybrid Werecats also exist, being of different kinds of cats, they are accepted into the pack graciously

Is this the end, who knows

Karen is a werecat creature who is seen mostly outside the manor at night. When she is outside, she seems to be just checking the perimeter. We assume it's for protecting the others. She seems to not be relatively hostile towards humans and actually acts pretty much human besides from a couple things. We assume it's because she may have used to be human most likely. Though of course she will do self-defense if needed. She seems to have a bit of a soft spot for kids having some her own and being very protective over them even if it's not her kid. A summary of my SMPLive AU so far

I have an idea for an SMPLive urban fantasy AU that I want to share here. Feel free to use/add more content!

Concept: All/most of the SMPLive creators are various magical humanoids/people who have magical powers. Most of Earth doesn’t know magic exists but there is a magical community and hidden cities where everyone knows that stuff exists (sort of like how diagon alley from Harry Potter is), SMPLive probably all end up living in one big city.

Character Name: Nepeta Leijon Why do you want to play this character?: I’ve always had a connection with Nepeta. In the comic itself, when Karkat calls Nepeta autistic, I realized how many things I had in common with her, and I’m autistic as well. Also since I was probably 11 or 12, I roleplayed very much in the same way she does, with the asterisks and everything. She’s also so into shipping her friends, and I’m very much obsessed with shipping characters from any fandom I get into. I also feel like I’m able to get into her character the easiest. For this Nepeta, however, I think she’ll be a tad different with her personality. She’s going to be very similar to her canon self, I swear. What type of creature are they?: Werecat Eclectic Witch. Reasoning for this type of creature?: I know her requirements say she should be a wild woman/feline. I decided to combine two aspects. She’s a werecat, changing into a large cat during a full moon night. The eclectic witch, as the name implies, means she combines a handful of different pieces of separate types of witchcraft. Making sigils, sacrificing some of her hunts, and even technology based ones. I believe she would make a good witch mainly for sigils, as in canon she is known for doodling even while just talking to her friends. If human, why?: Any headcanons pertinent to mods?: She’d mostly present as a human, and possibly not even be aware of her monthly change, only knowing that she every so often has blackouts as her feline side comes out. I’m not set for sure on if she would change specifically during a full moon only, or if near a full moon her feline nature would be at its peak, then on the full moon night she would actually transform. She’s a well known gardener, and makes various botanical remedies for small ailments: Sore throat, cough, minor cuts and bruises, you name it. She will also, for a price, perform magic. She’s best known for her sigils, engraving them into jewelry, writing them in the dirt, every which way she can help someone. When the time calls for it though, she will also make spell jars or potions for more extreme cases that is. She lives in a more old fashioned, small cottage on the edge of the town. The inside is more modernly decorated, the front room being very minimalistic, simple. But out the back door you’d see her garden, filled with a wide array of various plants, flowers, and some insects and animal carcasses occasionally stacked around. Oh and of course, she has a million cats. Some she keeps inside, some outside, some both, and a lot of strays who just visit and leave as they please. Any headcanons you would like for this AU?: None at the moment. Questions? Writing example (2-3 paragraphs): As ordinary as it was for Nepeta to be home alone on a weekday night, she did sometimes crave social interaction. Looking around her minimalistic living room, she saw several cats scatted in various places, some hiding under furniture, some laying on top of it, overall they were not interacting with her in the slightest. The only of these that were, a soft gray tabby who laid by her feet as she relaxed on the couch, was sound asleep. For as long as she could remember, this is how her life was. Spending day after day, night after night alone in this house, filled with all of these cats, and only ever interrupted with a person’s presence when they wanted something from her. She should feel used, mistreaten perhaps, but this was the life she lived. Finally giving in to her sore muscles aching, she slid her feet off the couch and onto the floor, slowly rising into a long stretch, her hands over her head as her back cracked, sighing blissfully at the newfound energy. As she walked out of her living room, a handful of cats followed her through her kitchen and into her back yard, her garden. She was unaware her prayers for companionship would be answered, as she had a slight fright walking into her garden and seeing someone at her greenhouse door, tapping lightly. When she opened the plastic door, she didn’t immediately recognize the human, but her shocked face did sting a little. As much as the humans may not be aware of it, she knew what they thought of her. She was odd, normally unwelcome to their social occasions, and only called upon when someone was desperate. What on earth did this poor soul want? “I.. don’t know what I’m doing here..” she mumbled, looking down and trying to avoid eye contact, “I couldn’t think of.. Anyone else who could help m-” “Say no more.” She cut the woman off, with a slight sigh as she turned to her normal workbench, “What do you need? Love? Children? Lose a locket?” “Revenge.” Glancing back at the woman, she raised an eyebrow, but shrugged and quickly began work plucking some leaves from a plant on the corner of her table. “Suit yourself.”
