Minden vallásban nagy szerepe van a várakozásnak, és ti, mint gyakorló traxeletoristák minden évben 12 hónapon át követhetitek, halljátok-látjátok, ahogyan gyarapszik a szelekt, hogy aztán év végén, a traxelektori szentháromság szuperszelekcióján áthaladva meghallgathassátok a mind/move/sense kompilációkat. Áldott legyen a teljesség! Xelektbe! Randomba! Krosszfédbe!

Az elektronikus zene egyik abszurduma, hogy a chill out kifejezést a legpunkabb bandának, a The KLF-nek köszönhetjük. Nem állítom, hogy chill-out válogatás a „Sense”, de ez a figyelős, hátradőlős zenehallgatás forrása. Másik érdekesség, hogy a történelmien fontos, első ambient album, a nagy Brian Eno – Music for Airports-sza ma nem férne be a legjobb 100 ambient album közé. Azért ez vicces. Harmadik évösszegző válogatásunk downtempoban mozog tehát, műfajilag ambient, drone, kortárs, experimental, dub, trip hop, field recordings, minimal, krautrock, etno elemekből építkezik. A terjedelme 140 felvétel, cirka 12 óra, és az online verzió is 11 óra felett van a maga 123 track-jével.

千葉広樹(Bassist,Violinist,Composer)

1981年岩手県盛岡市生まれ、東京在住の音楽家。 ベーシスト/ヴァイオリニストとしてシームレスに数多くのミュージシャンとの共演を重ねているが、2017年より本格的にソロ活動をスタート。 コントラバスによるクラシカルなサウンドと、アトモスフェリックな電子音によって奏でられる幽玄なサウンドスケープにより、独自の世界観のある壮大なパフォーマンスを繰り広げ、これまでに４枚のアルバムをリリース。

2019年には、東京都現代美術館で行われたファッションブランド”ミナ ペルホネン”のショーの音楽を担当。また、Youtubeチャンネル「With Ensemble」にて崎山蒼志のストリングスアレンジや、山本卓率いる劇団”範宙遊泳”の舞台音楽、CM音楽など様々な音楽を手掛けている。

現在ではサンガツ、蓮沼執太フィル、優河with魔法バンド、スガダイロートリオのメンバーとしても活動する他、渡邊琢磨、原摩利彦、古川麦、角銅真実、王舟、Julia Shortreed、Corey Fullerなど様々なアーティストのサポートも手掛ける。

また、SSWの優河や湯川潮音、荒内佑(cero)のプロデュースの他、Julia Shortreed、原摩利彦、渡邊琢磨、Beatniks(鈴木慶一、高橋幸宏)、大友良英、YUKI、吉澤嘉代子、王舟、古川麦、小野リサ、関取花、前野健太、吉田省念、松下マサナオ、VIDEOTAPE MUSIC、Kie Katagi(Jizue)など、数多くのレコーディングに参加。

過去にはベースとドラムよるリーダーユニット"Kinetic"にて活動し、OMSB、K-BOMB、志人をフィーチャーしたアルバム「db」をBlack Smoker Recordsよりリリース。

これまでのライヴサポートや共演者は、矢野顕子、UA、ラヴサイケデリコ、柳原陽一郎、mouse on the keys、坂本美雨、Kyoka、haruka nakamura、ベル＆セバスチャン、keishi tanaka、阿部芙蓉美、石橋英子、中島ノブユキ、ジムオルーク、口ロロ、mmmなど多岐に渡る。

【Hiroki Chiba / 千葉広樹】

Starting to play the violin early in his life, Hiroki Chiba launched his career as a bass player in 2004.  Since then he has worked in a variety of  musical contexts and regularly performs with Sangatsu, Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra. He usually performs with doublebass and electronics in various shows and exhibitions. He has launched four albums with doublebass and electronics. "Eine Phantasie im Morgen"(2017), "Nokt"(2018), "Asleep"(2019). 

Other releases include rabbitoo's "national anthem of unknown country" (Naive) and Tomasz Dabrowski's "Ninjazz" (Fortune). 

His past performances include with Jim O’Rourke, Kyoka (Raster-noton), FilFla with Keiichi Sugimoto (minamo, Fourcolor), Akiko Yano, Eiko Ishibashi, Giovanni di Domenico, Taku Unami, Tenniscoats, Yoshihide Otomo, Axel Dorner, Tetuzi Akiyama, Tatsuhisa Yamamoto, Seiichi Yamamoto, Taku Sugimoto, and ASUNA.

Based in Berlin and Chemnitz, Carsten Nicolay focuses on the intersection of art, music and science, and has been transforming visual and auditory concepts since the late 1980s. Nickolay, co-founder of the "sound and non-sound" music label Raster-Noton, recently had an installation at Halle am Berghain.

But the artist is no stranger to traditional galleries, either; in 2016, he presented Reflektor Distortion at Galerie Eigen+Art in Berlin. A large basin filled with water maps out a row of white neon lights, bombarded by low frequencies, the ripples of the water making the sound visible.

‘climate symphony’

‘Climate Symphony’ is a live music and visual performance that creates an emotional journey through the most beautiful tragedy of human existence. This is the sound of a dying planet and our transient position in it. The situation has never been more critical. In 2016, we passed the point of no return. It is already too late.Sound has a physiological and psychological effect on us – we instinctively feel calm when hearing birdsong and discomfort at the sound of nails on a blackboard. Sound is often taken for granted yet it developed to trigger deeply-held emotions.Our 20 minute symphony invites us to feel the story of our dying planet through sound. Performed in a circular or domed site, the audience is immersed in sound drawn from climate data and field recordings, telling the story of our planet from 9000BC to the present day in four movements: reflection, optimism, instability and intensity. As we listen, moving images of our natural and unnatural world project 360 degrees inside the site, creating a juxtaposition and interplay with the music to reveal what we’re hearing: the temperature of land and sea, population booms, industry, energy, war, plastic and technology through to extreme weather and natural disaster
