90s grunge, no wave, shoegaze, noise pop out of Sonora, MX. This album is a gem (it's in English). Their Spanish language songs are cool too.

Character Transparent Folders
When a character reaches a certain number of files, I have been putting them into according to their outfit or variation in order to prevent the character folder from becoming messy and making it difficult to find what you're looking for. The ask I had regarding Avery prompted me to go through every book folder and have a look at characters where this may need to be the case. Now the following characters have now been sorted into outfit folders, along with the characters who are already sorted into outfit folders.
I have not included Rory Silva, Skye Crandall, and Logan from Ride or Die as I need to finish their folders. But once I have, they will also be sorted into outfit folders.
In the case of Adrian, Gaius, Jax, Kamilah, Lily, Rheya, Cas, Gabe Adalhard, & Bastien, they are organised into Vampire and Werewolf eyes folders instead of outfits. And in regard to Kyra & Dakota, they are organised by their hair.
If there are any characters I have missed that you think should be sorted like this, let me know.

Latinx singers of classical music: a list so incomplete as to be positively embarrassing
What I wrote in the previous post in this series applies here as well:
Some of these artists are up-and-comers; some of their careers were at their height in the 1970s, when I first began paying attention; a few go back further than that.
Although in this case it’s more than a few — which, along with the fact I kept finding more and more younger artists, is why I decided to end my research and post this now.
I’ve included many of the younger ones solely on the basis of reputation, without having heard them. Not all are or were A-listers, but they are all people who sing or sang Western classical music for a living, or taught others to do so, or a combination of the two.
Assembling this list has required me to consider some questions of inclusion. Do the children of European immigrants who, in some cases, didn’t even bother to give their children Latinate names belong here? Undoubtedly many people will say no; I disagree. (I have drawn the line, however, at Spanish or Portuguese artists who decamped to their countries’ former colonies.)

VALPOGOSSIP TEACAP: FEBRUARY 2024
You lot sure have be busy the last few months. If I was of lesser mind or simply someone with something better to do, I would have resigned myself to my silence and let you all carry on. But business pays. And unfortunately for you, it's yours that pays me, and you're all not going to believe this.
Resident weirdo Drew Crane up and abandons his life in New York to follow everyone's sleep paralysis demon Luna Dominguez-Herrera after she ( rightfully ? ) dumped him. He claims it was because he was tricked by the leader of the unemployed, Rafael Cisneros. But Rafa couldn't talk himself out of charges, I doubt he's convincing anyone of anything. But don't worry Drew, you're not the only one who came to Chile in the pursuits of love but you do seem to be the only one who was successful. Congrats ( ? ) on winning ( ? ) Wednesday back even if you got kicked out of the apartment in the process !
The same can't be said for Nikhil Hari. Rumor has it he was catfished? I'm not buying it. Just like Drew, I think it's a fabricated story he put together to get our resident it girl, Carmen Hernandez, to not be weirded out by his showing up in her new city. Though, when it comes to girls who look like Carmen, who can fault him for being willing to cross seas, mountains, and rivers to be with her. Then, of course, maybe there's someone else who may be seeing this as well.
Omar Osei seemingly leaves his apartment for the first time in his life I guess ? This sighting was pretty week, but considering the man never has any sightings because he's a hermit who doesn't stop outside his apartment, ever, we think there's some merit in the dancing showcase him and Carmen shared. Thank god too, there had to be something beyond that DND group.
Moving on, Omar isn't the only hermit finally making his way out of the house. Gabriel Naisanga is also making his rounds ( and we do me around and around ) with Kala Kannan. The two of them fight more than Lin Wickwar only there are no winners here. And no. Not even me. It seems all Gabriel has to do is breathe oddly and Kala is ready to start a fight. I guess we can't entirely blame the girl, how long does one need to get over a wife ? We all want love don't we ? However, we do find it interesting that while Gabriel is currently only romantically ( ? ) involved with Kala ( a shame, sharing is caring ); he's not the only one she's romantically ( ? ) involved with ( good for her ! ).
Rumor wheel has it that she and Leon Amos hooked up rather quickly ( no shame ) upon his arrival. According to Leon, it doesn't take long at all to get over a wife ? fiance ? What does it matter, he learned the cardinal rule the fastest way to get over one person is to get under someone else ! And we support him on this journey. Though, maybe the journey can conclude its side quests of giving Drew weed brownies ? Just a thought. Perhaps these two were just a one and done, only time will tell. But I've heard reports the Kala has her eye set on another ( and no, it's not Gabriel ).
Adem Kartal, our beloved father. While Kala seems to be shooting heart eyes to him, sources say he's shooting heart eyes at Sariyah Carter. Guess you can claim not to be best friends as much as you want, but the similarities will always remain. Though, I guess if you ask Sariyah, she doesn't think Kala ever thought of her as a friend. Guess Sariyah can hold a grudge. They always said nothing hurts like a best friend break up, but everyone needs their best friend.
Luna and Carmen would know best, as Carmen came to swift conclusion that Jelena Lucas was after their boyfriend ( ? ) The more delusional the friends the more powerful the friendship.
Suppose Arlo Hwang would know a little bit about that as well. Using the time while his roommate, Alba Ocha, was out drooling and/or moping about their ex, Milani Lennox, he snuck Jamie Sokolov in to live with the two of them. Talk about Threes A Company.
That's all I have for now. It's not enough for me personally, so I'm advocating for you all to do even more ! Don't think you're safe just because you weren't mentioned. To Kaia, Manu, Marisa, Charlie, Aviva, Nora, Ravneer, Victor, Askel, Minnie, Itzel, Matty, Esteban, Aivryn, Leia, and Sofia; we're all still watching.

Cancun FC Suffers Close 0-2 Defeat Against Dorados' Strong Tackles
Explosive Sports: Mexico Soccer Recently in the Mexican Professional Soccer League, Cancun FC soccer club suffered a 0-2 away loss against Dorados de Sinaloa in the sixth round of matches. Dorados entered the new season unbeaten. Cancun FC took to the field as usual under coach Martin Molina Astorga's starting whistle, but lacked strength and were defeated 2-0 by Dorados de Sinaloa at Banorte Sports Stadium in the sixth day of the 2021 MX Expansion League "Grita México" opening tournament. This was Cancun FC's third commitment as visitors, marking the debut of their black alternate jerseys. "La Ola Futbolera" chose the same squad that faced Mineros facing Andrés Quintana Roo; Cristian Campestrini in goal; Ricardo Cruz, Heriberto Aguayo, Alexis Torres and Antonio Sánchez in defense; Michael Pérez, Luis Felipe Emocisyo, Francisco Estrada, Paul Uscanga and Adán Zaragoza in midfield; and Ayer Delgadillo as striker. Coach Federico Vilar also gracefully returned to the substitute bench after his suspension. Before the fight, he greeted his opponent Rafael "Chiquis" Garcia. Goalkeeper Cristian Campestrini was another who did not miss the opportunity to do so. As expected, the match was intense and close, leaving many impressions. For example, up front, Ayer Delgadillo was closely guarded by Luis Hernández, while Alonso Samora was responsible for taking care of the technically skilled Adán Zaragoza. In the first half the agonizing shot from number "21" grazed the right post of goalkeeper Luis López, causing great panic for the home team. Dorados wanted it but could not, precisely because of the order shown by 'La Ola' in the defensive zone. José Zuniga and Jonathan Beadon could not act freely. For the substitutions, the main course of the game did not change. Cancun FC were even more pushed back. In contrast, Dorados took hard tackles, such as Luis Felix's tackle on Adán Zaragoza, which almost "opened" the Caribbean. In the ensuing action, Zaragoza caused the maximum penalty sanction defined by referee Molina, considering he dived when Luis Felix simply pushed him into a large area. At 79 minutes, the referee made a mistake by disallowing a valid goal by Daniel Delgadillo, who completed the game in a good position, but unfortunately the mistake of assistant coach Jesus Gomez confused the central referee and committed a terrible error against coach Federico Vilar The match seemed to end evenly matched, but at 83 minutes, the captain of "El Gran Pez" Adolfo Dominguez broke the deadlock. Dorados were already winning 1-0. The pride of "La Ola" was hurt, keeping its ambition to find the target. Now in a counterattack, thanks to the space he left, Jonathan Beadon locked in the northern team's victory at 2-0. Cancun FC lineup: Cristian Campestrini, Oscar Torres, Heriberto Aguayo, Ricardo Cruz, Antonio Sánchez, Michael Pérez, Felipe Hermosillo, Francisco Estrada, Adán Zaragoza, Francisco Uscanga and Daniel Delgadillo. Substitutes: David Montavo, Luciano Bocco, Luis Alonso, Benjamin Gallindo, Simon Almeida, Sher Mohammed, Manuel Cibba, Jesus Vargas and Sergio Ippolito. Dorados lineup: Luis López, Luis Félix, Alonso Samora, Salvador Meneses, Jesús Vega, Luis Hernández, Adolfo Dominguez, Jonathan Suarez, Paul Irarrazabal, José Zuniga and Jonathan Beadon. Substitutes: Carlos Alvarez, Aaron Mejia, Jesús Basques, Iván Tornel, Antonio Nava, Giovanni León, José Lugo, Mirsad Ereira, Miguel Diaz and Adrián Marín.

For Whom the Bell Tolls, A New Opera in Two Acts from Brian Wilbur Grundstrom on Vimeo.
"Fighting Fascism and Sacrificing for Love"
Hemingway was a larger-than-life personality. In his popular novel, For Whom the Bell Tolls, we can see some of the author in the character of Robert Jordan, an idealistic young American in 1930's Spain, who accepts a doomed mission to blow up a bridge.
Through his lyrical melody-driven music, Brian Wilbur Grundstrom brings out the emotional depths of the characters and new insight to this Hemingway classic. Using the full versatility of opera, David Dorsen's libretto and Grundstrom's music explore Hemingway's themes of trust, loyalty, honor, love, betrayal, fear, pain, loss, and sacrifice, while adding modern insight, as Robert Jordan's notions of honor clash with the reality of civil war.
The opera takes place in the mountains of northern Spain during the Spanish Civil War in 1937.
