Population / Conservation Status : Elusive as fuck (unknown)

Nature : Confrontational and highly aggressive (do not engage )

Height : 5’4 (upright)

Theorized Type : Fighting/Psychic

Theorized Abilities : Big Pecks / Iron Fist / Rocky Payload ??? / Multiscale ???

For now, researchers have been only studying from afar and here’s some notes Professor Tree has shared with me

Aggressive in nature : Capable of future sight. Avoid at all cost. Team was tracked down back to their research vans where they were ambushed in the dead of night to banging all over the exterior of the vans. Morning revealed several dents and busted head/rear lights with stones found near the scene of the crime. There had been an attempt at opening a locked door

Team was required to leave that morning due to broken lights and travel time back to civilization

Team observed red eye like shapes in the shadows of the trees as the sun began setting

Observed to have similar behaviors of destruction as Bombirdier

Been observed to have large flat feet which allows them to stand and walk through shallow muddy water with ease

These variants have been witnessed to be far more aggressive compared to their common Xatu line. They have been seen testing the patiences of Wishcash and kicking Shelmets back and forth like a foot ball before smashing the shell to devour them

Barboach are considered hard to eat and a taste that most humans find undesirable due to their diet. These Xatu’s seem be one of the few predator Pokémon that feast off the regularly

Though still psychic, they seemed to have little use for it in terms of fighting prowess, often only every using it for stone chucking

They have been seen hurling : rocks, Shelmets, rocks at shelmets, shelmets at rocks, Barboach, Barboach at rocks even after death, dropping Barboach from high heights onto thin logs, resulting in the fish exploding in half upon impact . . .

They have been known to be far more active compared to common Xatus, misusing their ability of Future Sight and foresight to locate their next food source

After the attack on the van, they have decided to call a group of these a “Gang”
