Yep, It’s been a long time since finding a #Hiphop #rap project I identified with so hard. Songs about liking/caring about self and analyzing “self” in general from different perspectives, along with the crowd of different types of people in the world and music scene through many a reflection and dialogue. It’s an open book, and a clear but rough sketch of the dynamics of human beings that gets silly and funny but also gets very very sincere as well. the beats are amazing! generally speaking minimal but each have little nuances about that layer well and just soundtrack these scenes very well and bring much big color and life. Along with excellent feature verses from everyone as well. Something about the diversity and density of it all reminds me of the same planet #mfdoom #quasimoto #dannybrown and #earlsweatshirt are from but quelle’s delivery and lyrics give him a personality that stands out all it’s own for being himself, you have to listen to it to get to know it, and I like that.
