no ur actually right their support of the dsmp isn’t driven by love for it and that’s so evident by how quickly the fandom falls into conflict with one another and with the streamers over things like the election arc they love women but we’re super misogynistic during the election arc they talk about bbh but only bc they think it’ll annoy dteam fans and the same with foolish bc they think playing on a mc server means that they’re taking an active stance against dteam like even if they’re still good friends with q that’s nothing to do w dream bc none of them were directly involved in the drama between q and dream and it’d be childish for us to ask them to take sides but that’s exactly what q fans do . it’s black and white to them either w or dream and everything that happens on qsmp gets compared to dsmp . everything’s comes back to dsmp. i’ve seen people straight up day dsmp didn’t have enough queer ppl and call qsmp the queersmp bc it had jaiden. like . and female streamers are still taking in the lowest view counts of the server . bc they liked dsmp they loved it and they want to live it again without dream . dsmp is the blueprint . everything comes back to dream . bc they’re obsessed. and it’s kind of sad that as big as qsmp is that the majority or at least the most vocal fans have rarely expressed their love for it without bringing it back to dsmp bc it makes it seem like they don’t care abo it what their streamer is doing but just making sure another streamer feels bad . it’s sad .
