This is where I started crying hard enough my throat hurt.
When she dreams of changing the past, changing her decision. And because it's a dream, Dream!Do Ha points out that it cannot really change the actual past, any of it:
And her answer floors me. Just as he persisted loving her when it was an impossibility, when she couldn't even see him or know of him, she commits to loving him even if he will never see and he will never know.
The fact that even in her dream, the happiest ending she can imagine is them dying in each other's arms. I am unwell. The way he shields her from arrows but she gets hit anyway and the look on his face and they die together OMG.
Her prayer and her mirror wish, where he yearned in the past and she yearns in the future and he wanted to save her but she now wants them to be together again, the whole "if your yearning was powerful enough to overthrow the order of nature because of your love, mine will be the same" - aaaaaa!!!
And I love that she's sending her yearning into the aether not to some deity or some spirit or some curse but to his soul. Because she knows that if there is any way at all, any way whatsoever, his soul will answer.
And so we get this:
New life, new chance, them getting to be normal - no curses, no tragic pasts, no horrific family, no vengeful ghosts, no battlefields or deadly illnesses. Just two ordinary young people, meeting in the most ordinary way, drawn towards each other and about to embark on the most gloriously ordinary love story in existence.
I bawled.
I was so terrified this drama would fall of a cliff and not land the ending but it did. It is 100%, hands down, my favorite kdrama of the year.

Moon in the Day is a glorious 14-episode slow burn enemies to lovers, and when it happens, we fall hard. OTP is “I wished we could have the happiness of normal but normal would mean we would have never met in the first place.” They're “I only need to see you to be relieved in this hellish place” “even if I’m the one to put you in that hellish place?” They're “I will protect you and save you from this living hell even if I’m condemning myself to hell because how can I let the one I love be in hell.” They're “I will choose you over everyone and everything over and over again, in every lifetime.” They're “the desire and hope of a person to protect the one they love is so strong that it endures for 1500 years to find its way back to their love.” They're "I'm willing to kill for you, to die for you, but more importantly, to live for you." And it's not one falls harder than the other, they are both insanely pro-each other.

Christmas is here early guys
SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP
*feral noises*
Kim Young Dae, my beloved, you were born for roles like this.
I know a lot of people shit on YoungDae's abilities as an actor, but the man has the charisma and presence that not just everyone has. Plus, I believe him to be quite good at the type of characters he plays. It's true that there's correlation in all his past roles but as the Taylor Swift song says "he does it so well". And I can only think of a couple of actors who have been just as successful in that aspect. It's good to try different genres and new characters, but it's just as good to stick to what you know and do best. There's no shame on that, and I could never get bored of YoungDae.
Btw I cannot help but think that his role in Extraordinary You was sort of a prophetic one, cause damn he has that face of a main lead. It's in his aura. This man was born to be the main character.
