had this idea recently that dazzling starr uses leg prosthetics (designed and built by rustbolt and apollo 26 [another oc]) when shes a hero or performing. when shes off the job, she loves to use her wheelchair.

plus some characterization doodles for my favourite lieutenant. gwendolyn can also manipulate rocks and metal, and even cause small earthquakes and turn her skin into metal or rock matter. that means she can just close herself. in a rock shell when shes too socially awkward to speak

OH well. you DONT want to get her angry. i'd say, she snaps VERY slowly, it excalates from "passive-aggressiveness snark" to "actual threatening of getting your head smacked with her sharp guitar" pretty quickly.

Game Bug - anything 8-34-bit goes hard for him. he LOVES video game soundtracks and could listen to them for ages. Other than that, xe absolutely loves Synthpop and New Wave. They're a fan of Duran Duran, ELO, Depeche Mode and more.

High Tide - Surf Rock mainly, but he also loves some folk rock (but NOT country) thrown in. Gotta say any song that uses saxophone makes the song better in his eyes, as he himself is a saxophone player and he loves the sound of it.

Dazzling Starr - OHHH she's a metalhead. Or should I say, a glam-metalhead. Also glam rock and punk rock. Then I'm guessing you could call her a Glam Punk. Anyways, she loves music, it's her life, and even if those are her favourite genres, she finds value in every music.

Millisecond - Might seem weird for him as he's straight from space but he REALLYY loves gothic rock, darkwave/coldwave and proto-punk. He lives on the dark side of lunar zomburbia so ofc he listens to dark music /j anyways. Space Punk confirmed. But then again it has to be at least 132 BPM or else he's not listening. Needs it fast.

Betty - she reallly loves 90s grunge and garage rock. But secret secret. Claims she hates Disco. *is actually an avid ABBA and Donna Summer listener* she has bit of her father's musical taste ofc lmao (she's Boogaloo's daughter) but mainly she gets the rock kick of it thank to Mom, Dazzling.

betty - or by her full name, beatrice, is the child of electric boogaloo and my oc dazzling starr. with a talent for playing the drums and fashion. a total grunge/riot grrrl. bisexual disaster. dating jules. she gets her father's electricity powers and a bit of her mom's music powers. daddy's girl. rlly likes to sew as well!! most of her clothes are DIY she made out of junk or upgraded

paul - betty's twin brother, full name, paul lee. hes very talented in chemistry and biology. he also likes to play acoustic guitar and sometimes even banjo. just like his sister, he rlly likes fashion too and is NOT going to walk in some trash, even if he's a zombie. he's a mama's boy on the other hand and he gets more of dazz' powers.

jules - by her full name, julianne, science girl from the neighborhood with the highest GPA/best grades in the whole school/z academy. a snarky filipino with love for alternative rock. she's the vocalist in betty's band, hex graves. also loves skateboarding a lot, and watching old anime (her fav is sailor moon and revolutionary girl utena) she's also M.D. Livings' niece and he loves her dearly even if he's mf medic tf2 zombified. huge lesbian.

cass - full name, cassandra, chilean jock who loves a good game of sports, but loves filmography way more. she likes to make experimental films by herself with the help of her besties. she also has 2 moms she got adopted by :] she plays the guitar in the band. her music taste is like early 2000s punk rock/pop punk. pansexual and dating graham.

harper - actually named hajnal, as she's part hungarian, but prefers her nickname. the zompire coming from a family of aristocracy but hates it. doesn't like to be put in 16th century dresses and prefers to dress like an emo kid straight from the 2000s; the same for her music taste. my chemical romance is her unlife. she can and WILL fashion police everyone. also a huge fan of sculpting and art (she has mary sue ocs). aroace :] shes also the bassist of the band

graham - a total punkass, but his scary appearance is just a facade; he's a big sweetheart deep down and he has a big love for literature (but he writes self insert fanfics abt historical periods like his most popular 10,000 word trojan war fic). he LOVES punk rock and especially the stuff that goes extremely hard. oh, and daddy and mommy issues. A LOT. anyways he's pan + ace and dating cass.

zach - full name, zacharias, he comes from a big family of pirates. he rlly likes chemistry too but for different reasons; he simply wants to know what to put in bombs. the reason he has 4 arms and glowy eyes is cuz his mom got "cursed" that her next child would look like that, but now he's living his best unlife not caring a bit. he also rlly likes board games and literally you cant beat him in them. he has 5 siblings, roger, nick, taylor and hazel who are older and a younger brother. hes gay and dating paul :]

so unfortunately most of *my* headcanons (as in headcanons i solely came up with) are about the plant heroes which i know u dont like but i have some zombie ones too

-ok so all the heroes live together. not ALL all. plants live w the other plants n zombies the other zombies. the plants' living situation is really cozy, think of camper vehicles, hammocks and buddies just having a good time. the zombies all have organized rooms in the zombie hq. theyre forced to live together by zomboss... rustbolt refused a room and sleeps in the junkyard

-CHOMPZILLAS A MOM this is a big one. shes the mom of 25 kids and she has a WIFE my oc zika... theyre in love a lot and their kids are all teeny weeny. i call her momzilla <33

-green shadow + solar flare + nightcap polycule is real and canon i work for popcap

-the game insists the smash isnt a gentle giant i do not hear them they are wrong theyre lying

-boogaloo only lets select few people in his room. its REALLY cool in there tho... imagine the coolest room ever and then make it cooler.

-all the imps r babies children infants and they share a room together and theyre BROTHERS they care abt each other a lot...

which oc took the longest to design?

i'd say uhm....... either dazzling starr (pvz) or physician (tf2). there's beeen sooo many changes for them overtime but came to point where am happy!! literally, so many color scheme changes, so many design changes, so many color tweaks... hehe all worth it!

this makes me so so happy since just like a month ago my love for pvz returned pretty hard like......... omg omg i'm so so happy to hear ppl liking my fellas. and!! might seem really unprofessional but i don't have a master post for them, i just share stuff about them as i please! but!! think i can spare sum info here!! + links to their designs!

Game Bug (genderqueer, he/they/xe) - Hero version of Arcade Zombie, mixed a bit with Computer Scientist! He's professional in kicking plants' butts and gaming. One of the smarter zombies here, his superpowers include technological advancements, force field creation, teleportation, creation of sizzles/electricity (but not the same as Boogaloo), xe can also corrupt codes and hack into anything! their civilian alter-ego/true ID is Harris Ricci, he's of italian descent and a dedicated librarian in his free time. He LOVES sci-fi/fantasy books, video games and quantum physics. He's your typical introverted nerd but when you give xem time, xe'll grow on you.

High Tide (trans man, he/him) - Hero version of Surfer Zombie! a very sporty zombie with a love for water sports, especially surfing and high diving, a true beach boy. fights in flip-flops because he doesn't tolerate any other shoes. his powers include hydrokinesis and a bit of control over the air (since it contains H20 but he can mostly bend the sea breeze). his hydro powers are special though, he can bend any liquid, change the state of it (into either solid, liquid or gas state) and some more tricks he knows. He works as a part-time firefighter and lifeguard, but there he's known as your sweet Oliver Chandler. He's a himbo and a ray of sunshine that's it. he's lucky though! Neptuna and him are dating!

Dazzling Starr (demigirl, she/her) - The star of the show! A well-known glam musician who also happens to be a zombie hero. She's a multi-instrumentalist and can even play on weirdest instruments out there, but she mainly uses her beloved guitar to deliver some killer solos. Her powers include manipulation and generation of sounds. pretty much vanquishes plants with guitar riffs. she can also hypnotize them! yes! hypnotizing music! She can pretty much bend mf physics and cause a mini earthquake when she stomps her foot. a buff girl do not mess with her or else she'll squeak you like a toy. her hero name was originally just her stage name, but now she's a beloved hero! her civilian ID is Deborah, or Debbie, she has some spanish roots. and! she's married to Electric Boogaloo (who's a #1 husband and can't stop talking about how much he loves his wife) and has a teenage daughter!

Millisecond (cis male, he/him) - Interstellar Bounty Hunter and an Assassin, works on the space zombie black market (yes i know how this sounds like) offering assassination services. He has amazing aim, but his superpower is super-speed! He can run around 10,000km in a minute (forgive my european ass i dunno how to use miles) and not be seen, as he really can run up fast. knows every corner of space, and is wanted in like 40 galaxies. Dr. Zomboss hired him to get rid of the plant heroes, but instead he got adopted by the zombie heroes that are now his found family. His name is in fact Alasdair Diamantis (but gets called Atlas), as he has greek roots. He and Rustbolt are dating! they're boyfriends and very in love.

Beatrice "Betty" (cis female, she/her) - Dazzling Starr and Electric Boogaloo's teenage, 16 year old daughter, embodiment of 2000s emo/scene mixed with rock 'n' roll and disco. yes. She's one hell of an edgy teenager, she's a part of the team as she works as some sort of sidekick/beloved niece of the zombie heroes. she has superpowers, it was passed to her genetically! she has electricity + sound manipulation mixed, but she doesn't want to be a hero in future, she wishes to be a drummer and she's actually amazing at playing on the drums! she has a part-time job though, thank to Rustbolt, she babysits the Imps at Z-Tech factory. Says she's only nice to them because they pay her for babysitting them, but she has a soft spot for those little buggers. also a hardcore mlp fan

so like..... the most interesting i have is.. electric boogaloo being a father. you know, I LOVE 70s culture so of course this disco mf is my favourite and a huge comfort character. but like... i ship him with dazzling starr, they're both married party animals and like... they got a kid! beatrice, or betty, she's their 15 year old teenage daughter.... who's basically like a cross between disco and mf emo/scene from the 2000s. onto the dynamic!!

her parents are overly-cheery and over-bearing, but trust me, they mean to harm. both of them are loud-asses and are always excited about everything, so whenever betty's in a competition or contest, they cheer for her so hard. Buut.. they embarass her hard too! esp boogaloo. he's an absolutely sweet father, he loves his daughter very much, just, he's oblivious about the fact he embarasses her by being so enthusiastic. betty hates this as she feels babied, but he means no harm. boogaloo and dazzling love their daughter sm and after all she's a loud-ass like them too. she has their superpowers too, it's genetic! betty uses her electricity powers more as her flip-phone charger tho, lmao.

the zombies in-game are y'know... braindead and have really no personalities whatsover, besides some of their voice lines, fighting styles and the way they react to things (taking damage, using a superpower, etc.). but like they're rotating in my head hard and it's awesome to give them sum actual character. tysm for the ask again!!!!

HEYZ……..idk much abt pvz but mayhaps u could tell how ur peeps turned into zombies…….?like how did they get infected&whats the story…..?????idk if like thats a thing but thought id give it a shot😭HOPE UR DOING WELL!!!!!!!!!!

OOH OHH ooh. yeah!!!!! so lemme just say, the pvz games never really take itself serious, it's comedic as fuck so like. ofc in-game the zombies are braindead idiots which i don't like, so in my little rewrite, focusing on pvzheroes, the zombies of course have more personality, both my fellas and the canon heroes. buut let's go!!!

Game Bug died in the 1988, was on his way to college until he got abducted from the street and later killed. he has bad memories of that, that's why he can't really look at knives, brings him bad memories.

High Tide died in 1965, on the irony, he drowned, but unlike Game Bug, he doesn't necessary care about it and water doesn't bring him any fears. He has some little memories but doesn't remember much, he's happy though that he can surf carefree and happily.

Melanie died in 1950s, actually she got ran over by a car, she was dashing to her tennis tournament as she was late for staying all night, training. Died right when she got hit, there was no chance of saving her.

Dazzling Starr died in 1974, overdosed drugs. That's why she promised to herself to never do drugs again, even in unlife when she's safe from dying again.

Millisecond died in 1973, year before his sister. His death was also one of the reasons Dazzling started taking drugs. He, himself, died of sunstroke, right in a marathon in the middle of hot summer. there was no chance to save him either.

these are all, they of course reanimated somewhere in the 2000s, as i like to think PvZ takes places in that time period. they're happy to be besties in the unlife. also omg tysm for the ask morm. i know you don't know much so sorry if that'll be confusing for you to read but am genuinely so happy to answer a pvz question omg 😭😭

if you like shooters, then i recommend garden warfare 1 and 2!! bfn sucks for me, for many ppl too :[ if you like card games, then pvzheroes is ur choice too!!!! can't forget about the classic pvz1 too!! and 2. pvz 2 is worse but it's kinda good?
