You and Peter have been dating for 2 months now, you are very comfortable with him and he is always comfortable with you.

Since yall date you do nothing but think about him, you can't get him out of your head, the way he talks to you, how he smiles at you, how he holds your hand when you go on a date, he was simply perfect for your eyes, your love for him grew more and more and didn't slow down.

One day he invited you to the movies with him, you accepted of course, you wanted to spend as much time as possible with him.

When you got to the cinema he hadn't arrived yet, maybe he was late you thought, but 15 minutes passed and there was no sight of him yet.

When you're almost resigned, you hear someone in the distance calling your name, you turn around to see who he is and it was Peter yelling at you to wait for him from afar.

“ 'm sorry, i had an unforeseen event and..” Peter said trying to catch his breath.

“Its okay, dont worry 'bout me, worry about the movie” you said as the movie had already started 20 minutes ago.

“I see, so you wanna go home or do you want to see another movie?” He told you with a sorry look, he really didn't want to be late on a date with you, but unfortunately his other life as a spider noir didn't give him any choices.

“Well, I want to spend time with you so it's okay if we see another movie” you replied by putting your hand on his shoulder smiling at him.

He nodded and then you entered the cinema.

“That was a good movie,” you said giggling a little and holding his hand.

“Yeah, it was for sure,” he replied with a smile back.

He accompanied you home while the sun was setting, you had spent a good time with him, and he also did with you.

The more time passes, the closer you get and feel that you have more and more feelings.

The dates continued, but it must be said that he arrived 70% of the time late, you didn't understand why he always arrives 15 or 20 minutes after the time you gave yourself, if it didn't suit him then he could tell you but he didn't.

Peter doesn't want you to think that for him you go in the background or that you're not important enough to him, unfortunately he doesn't decide when the city needs him, there is one and only spider noir in the world, and it was him.

Precisely for this reason, he thought a lot about the decision to tell you his identity, you were the person he trusts the most, and he can't keep hiding it from you, he doesn't want you to come up with bad ideas, he felt comfortable with you, he doesn't want to ruin the relationship you have created in these months.

At this point he prefers to let you know now, he doesn't want it to be too late to tell you.

“Can I come over, my love?” He told you on the phone.

“Yeah sure, there's something wrong?” You answered him, noticing that he was nervous by his voice.

“I needa tell you something really important” he only answered you this and attacked.

What does he mean by this? Did something happen between us? Lately I see him a bit in his thoughts, maybe he wants to tell me the reason why he's been behaving like this lately. These were your thoughts when he told you this, you were afraid to know but you were also impatient, you wanted to know so bad the reason, but at the same time you were nervous.

“Sorry dove, I really need to go” he told you as he put his jacket back on and got out of his chair.

“But u said we'll go to-“ you tried to answer, a little disappointed with his behavior, but you were stopped by him,

“I promise one day i'll explain you everything, just remember that I love you” he told you softly as he stroked your cheek with his hand, then gave you a kiss in the head and said you goodbye.

Damn it, you couldn't get mad at him, he was so sweet and adorable with you, whatever he's going through you would have listened and tried to understand him, he's not the type to leave this way for nonsense, if he has to leave it will be for a good reason.

And he knew you trusted him, that you would wait for him, that you would give him time to confess everything to you, by now he no longer needed to say to leave, you understood him immediately when he made that sincerely sorry look.

“Love, i-“ he tried to tell you while you were having dinner at your house, he took a look at the window, he always gave a look at the window before leaving, you didn't understand why but it didn't matter.

“You can go babe” you told him as you smiled softly at him and put your hand on his arm.

There was no reason to get angry, you trusted him a lot, you know he would never lie to you, you know he would never let you down, that's why you didn't ask where he was going, you had to wait for him, you always tried to put him at ease and he did the same, your esteem for each other was very high.

“Youre the best” smiled back at you as you saw him walk out the door.

The steps were fast, the breath accelerated, nervous look, sweaty hands and lost in the thoughts, am I really going to tell her that i am spider noir? How will she react? That I'm just a liar? A guy who deceives people for fun? These were Peter's thoughts on his way to your house, you were both agitated, you didn't know what the other would say and react, the fear was high but the patience is no less.

You heard three knocks on the door, got up quickly, opened the door and Peter had a nervous look in his face. He could say the same for you, he wanted to greet you but no sound came out of his throat, he kept telling himself to take courage.

“Hey, you good darling?” You said, noticing that he was nervous, so you tried to calm him down by putting one hand on his shoulder.

“Hi dove, yeah im good.. What 'bout you” he tried to create a normal conversation, hoping to improve the situation for whatever reaction you would have.

“Im great too, so are you gonna tell me?” You answered while you invited him to sit on the couch with you.

He accepted your request and sat down next to you, you looked at him, waiting for an answer, and the only one you wanted was a yes.

“Yeah, but promise me you won't be disappointed or angry with me love,” he told you, looking into your eyes in a deep, sweet voice towards you.

“Of course babe, ill never get mad at you, you know that” you said as you smiled softly to put him at ease, you weren't a touchy person, so you know you wouldn’t.

“Okay then.. you know when i kept going away without giving you a good reason, or when i arrived late at our dates? Well, theres a big reason, really big.” he communicated to you in a sincere and serious voice.

He was waiting for your reaction, with that he didn't want to worry, he meant that he would never send you into the background for something unimportant, you were too important to him, so he preferred to tell you now, hoping it wasn't too late.

“Love you know you can tell me everything and i will always understand you, whatever is the reason, even if is the craziest reason, ill always be on your side” you answered softly, damn if he loved you so much.

“Even the craziest reason? Even if im.. spider noir?” He didn't even know with what courage he said it, his heart accelerated the beat, waiting for some significant reaction from you.

“What?..” your reaction was shocked, but it wasn't clear whether it was positively or negatively shocked, so he kept saying,

“ i know you think im joking or lying but its the true, and i wanted to tell you now because i was scar-“ tried to say but was stopped by you,

“This is..” you kept looking at it with the same expression as before,

“Please trust m-“ was stopped a second time, when you suddenly hugged him, he opened his eyes wide at first, confused by your sudden gesture of affection, so it meant that you were neither angry nor disappointed , his heart began to calm down, and Peter found himself at ease so he returned the hug, still slightly confused.

“Amazing. This is amazing Peter” you said as you held him tighter against you.

“I love you more than anything, remember that.” he told you, as you continued to hug.

The next few months Peter and you were still in love if not more. Now that you know that he is spider noir, he often carries you in his arms, while admiring the city at night, Peter stopped over a skyscraper.

“The moon is beautiful, isnt it?” You said as the full moon lit up your face beautifully, you looked like an angel in Peter's eyes.

“But you're definitely prettier dove” he confessed to you as he sat on the edge of the skyscraper, you sat next to him, and rested your head on his shoulder.

“Love you, Peter.” you answered almost whispering,

“I love you more.”

Ok I'll get to the actual post now I'm sorry-

Domestic poly!Bruabba headcanons 🤐💓🔄

Just like Bruno and Abbacchio warm your heart, you're a fundamental part of their life, you're the sparkle, the missing piece that truly makes their relationship feel...Whole.

They love each other, but they're unable to picture an existence that you are not a part of. You truly respect, care and look out for one another, which is what makes your bond so strong.

Whether you're involved in the Mafia business or not, I believe you can guess that lazy time at home is often not a possibility. Abbacchio, and most of all Bucciarati, are extremely busy men. While you wish you could spend more time with them, you know that it's not their fault if they're forced to be away from an uncertain period of time.

Now, if you decide to be a full-time housewife, the two of them are 100% supportive of your decision, and they will actually be pretty happy about it. They make enough money to support all of you with no big problems, so not pursuing a career doesn't affect anything in the slightest.

Now, they will absolutely do anything in their power to make sure that house duties are equally shared, and that you don't end up taking care of cleaning, cooking and all of that stuff on your own.

If you do happen to be more often at home than them though, deciding to spend time maintaining the house might even be your own choice.

Whenever they're around though, they'll try to get to to take a break, saying that they will handle everything.

You can clearly see they're tired as hell (lol), it basically turns into a challenge on who can get the other to actually rest for a while.

It will most definitely end up with the three of you, exhausted, just laying in each other's arms while you try to get some sleep on the salon's couch, because you don't even have the energy to walk up to your shared bedroom.

If you DO decide to pursue a career, that's totally awesome too! Both of them are glad to see how you're not relying too much on their economical stability and looking for your own independence.

If you chose to become part of Passione...A bit of conflict may arise. Bruno is completely against it, and he doesn't want anyone, especially someone else whom he cares about deeply, to join such a corrupted world.

Abbacchio, on the other hand, would be more supporting. It is your life and you're free to do anything with it, although he will warn you multiple times of the dangers of being a mafia member.

The way the discussion ends, is determined solely by your own will.

Since all three of you would often be busy, you might hire a couple of cleaning women to take care of house duties, leaving you with more free time on those rare occasions when you get the chance to just relax at home.

However, while Abbacchio may take some time to purely relax, Bucciarati just can't sit still, and will be eager to prepare an home cooked meal for his two lovers as soon as he has the possibility to do so. He's an awesome cook, but the other man and you are constantly worried that he's overworking himself.

The two of you probably decide to help him out too. The image of all three of you doing your best to prepare a good meal for one another is a really pure one, albeit quite rare.

One of your favourite bonding time activity? Watching movies together! But not going to the cinema or such. You all just sit on the couch in the kitchen or living room, pick a movie together, and none of you is allowed to move an inch till it's over.

Leone likes Horror stories and thrillers, while Bruno prefers mystery stories. A dark, mystery film, perhaps even based on a real story, would be perfect. Of course, your tastes are also taken into account as much as theirs! Since they might be a bit different from those, one night maybe you just decide to watch something that only one of you likes, but that you end up enjoying anyway.

Also, if you have a tendency to neglect yourself even slightly, you can be sure as hell that they will drop anything, anyone, everything and everyone to make sure that you're properly taking care of your own person.

Bucciarati, to literally nobody's surprise, is the best when it comes to emotional and psychological support. He's awesome at noticing if you're more stressed than usual, and no matter how much you may hide it, he WILL find out about it. Even a slight variation in your body language or tone of voice in enough for him.

He'll sit you down, and won't let you go until all your doubts and worries have been pushed away, only then he'll go back to his job and other responsibilities.

The Albino, instead, will be more openly concerned about your physical appearance. I like to think that he would enjoy styling your hair or even just brushing it. It helps him to relax, and he knows that it's good for you, which makes it even better. He probably doesn't particularly like to have his hair touched though, so maybe ask before doing anything similar for him.

If you're a disorganized person...Lmao good luck, you're going to need it.

Both of them are extremely responsible, uptight and sometimes kinda rigid people. So please, try not to leave stuff around the house...Too much. They can handle it a little, 'cause they're used to the rest of the gang, but they'd like at least their home own to be tidy.

Now...Let's talk about children.

Bucciarati was born to be a parent, come on. He radiates caretaker energy no matter how you look at him. He'd definitely love to start his own family and adopt some children.

Your other partner...Is not as excited as he is regarding kids. He insists that they're just a nuisance, that he doesn't get why would have want to have any and that he already loves his family for the way it is.

Depending on your own opinion regarding the matter, the three of you will probably end up taking in AT LEAST one kid. Two or more is influenced by how much you care about this matter.

Bruno probably just found them in a garbage can or something (since men, let alone people in a poly relationship, cannot adopt children) and decided to keep them.

You and Abbacchio are going to deal with it, and all three of you will end up loving the kid and give them the best family they could have asked for.

As for the other members of the team...Boy it's ONE BIG MESS-

Okay okay, first of all.

Giorno is 100% supportive of your relationship. You don't have to explain absolutely anything to him, he could tell what was going on between you long before even YOU noticed, he just has this scary sixth sense.

So when you tell him about you three, he's not surprised, he simply smiles at you and tells you he believes you're doing what's best for you.

of course, he also has plenty of duties to attend to, but he makes sure to remind you that, if you were to need something, he always has your back.

Fugo is not particularly surprised either. He always knew how...Intimate, you guys were. He doesn't know much about the subject of polyamorous relationship, but he can clearly see that you are happy together.

He might ask you a couple of questions to make sure that he fully and well understood what is going on and how you feel, but after that, he simply views you in the same old light. He's glad you've happiness love in each other, and truly believes that you deserve it.

Mista is so chill about it it's almost scary. Of course you're happy that he's supportive of you and your partners, you're just not used to all this calmness. Bruno wasn't surprised though, I mean he's the guy who agreed to join his team in exchange for more bruschette lol.

He also probably teased the three of you even before you actually started a relationship, stuff like "Get a room already or something", so when you tell him about it he just can't stop smirking. Will still keep on lightly making fun of you guys because he can.

Trish is suuuuper happy for you! She can't put it into words! When you tell her about your love for each other, she has these huge proud smile on her face like "YES THEY FINALLY GOT TOGETHER LESS GO, HAPPY PARENTS HAPPY PARENTS"

She won't say it out loud like this, but this is pretty much what she's thinking.

She's incredibly happy you've found love and happiness in one another, and constantly reminds you that if you ever need anything, she's always ready to give some good relationship advices ;)

Also if you end up adopting a kid, she's definitely the best choice to leave the child with when you're all busy.

Lastly, Narancia...

I mean, it's not that he's not happy for you, he just...Doesn't get it at first. Like- he's always been told that only two people can love each other, that in a relationship there can't be three members.

Poor baby is confused, please sit him down and explain the situation, he'll genuinely do his best to understand. While Bruno (and maybe you, it depends) will probably be the one to handle 'the talk' the most, all three of you will be there. It's easier to follow if everyone who's interested is with him.

Once he DOES realise what is going on...He's over the moon! He will constantly apology for coming off as not supportive or rude, and will try to make up for it by threatening anyone who dares claiming that polyamorous love is not real.

Also, he's always seen you three as his not official parents, seeing that you're actually dating now makes him feel even more like he's found a new family.

sfghsoghsoh SISTER!!! 🫂🫂 A fellow person of TASTE and intellect, iktr. Kill Bill is honestly such a great movie for its story-telling, the themes of motherhood/revenge/etc. Quentin tells the fuck out of stories and I love how non-linear he chooses to make things. And omg. Into The Spider-Verse was such an unexpected love. I think it was on Netflix at the time and I randomly put it on one day and when I tell you I CRIEEEEED! 🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️ They took such a classic formula of a hero's journey, specifically Spider-Man's journey, and STILL made it new. When you know who died, I was like NOT HIM?!?!?! WHEN HIS THEME PLAYS WHEN MILES FINALLY TAKES THAT LEAP? CINEMATIC POETRY. As for Amélie, that is truly one of my fav films of all time. I relate to my shy sister who lives inside her head a LOT. Perfect film that's just the right amount of quirky and whimsical without being too much. Mulan is a given and Goodfellas is just THAT film. I watched it in a film class in high school and was blown away like wow. This is actual cinema 😭. THIS is storytelling. Pure excellence.

Also Lord of The Rings is the best but I am very biased. The original trilogies are perfection but I would say if you're not typically into fantasy, it may not be for you. But the payoff in the storytelling is worth it all. Also Aragorn, hello. That is a MAN.

- watched this movie for the first time in 5th grade in art class cause the teachers wanted us to do art matching music later and all i have to say is these 5th and 6th grade art classes did more for my art career than 4 years of college ever could. Obrigada professora passarinho e professor Miguel 😭

- ART

- i dont watch this movie often, in fact i think ive only watched it twice, 5th grade and in 2017, cause its a 2h visual and musical heavy movie, but its just pure art. It’s those movies that its best watched after years cause its so dense, different and unique. People are nuts when they say disney does always the same thing cause this is only their 3rd movie and LOOK AT IT. I do prefer my movies to be within the storytelling conventions but thank god theres these pearls once in a while.

- while i prefer the sequences with living characters and story, i find this first one very satisfying. Basically just animation that fits the sound. The animators are so creative

- love the nutcracker sequence. Those fairies with water drops in the beginning are so stunning. People talk about that Angelina Jolie fish in sharks tale but Disney’s been sexualizing fish since the beginning of times 😭 amazing tails and eyes tho ✨. The changing seasons part!!!! Specially when it changes from autumn to winter is so beautiful. Those winter fairies are everything

- sorcerer mickey is so great. I love the water animation in this sequence and think its incredibly in tone with the score. Simple story but with great message. I love mickey so much 😭

- the dinosaur sequence is probably my least fave. The lava part is too long (probably to match the music tho), i like the evolution part, dont really care for dinosaurs but why did they have to kill my boy like that 😭, and then they kill everyone 😭😭😭😭, but its really well animated. Just drags a bit and its not the most interesting topic but its probably all to match the music

- the soundtrack part is amazing. It’s just mindblowing to me how animators are able to put the sound of different instruments into visual art. Even her anxiety is captured 😭

-the mythology sequence is my fave!! Specially the centaurettes scenes. It’s just such a chill and pleasent forest with the unicorns, pegasus, angels and centaurs. Wish i live there so bad, swimming in those lagoons and dressing up with flowers 😩 but then of course comes Zeus, the party pooper 🙄 let us live man. This scene would really have been perfect if it weren’t for the racist caricatures. Those centaurs were really close to being pretty but them boom exagerated features and slaves…….

- the ballet sequence is not the best but still pretty cute. I specially like the hippo and elephants’ parts. Love how disney draws animals ugh i could never

- so bizarre to go from dancing ostrichs, alligators, hippos and elephants to collecting the souls of the dead and a giant mountain monster but that’s cansai for you 😅 . Really terrifying and epic. One of my fave scenes

- overall i love the nutcracker, sorcerer mickey, mythology and mountain monster scenes the most

- the most beautiful disney movie along with sleeping beauty

- it really astounds me the talent and creativity of disney animators back then. Of course theres still incredible talent now but i guess it just fascinates me how they could put out such quality animation without the money, resources and number of workers that they have now. Plus this was such a high risk project, even today, but they still gave it 200%

THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO: Forget Everything You know And Get Overwhelmed By Its Spellbinding Beauty...

THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO is a mesmerizing revelation...

It is unique, strange and does not play by the rules. It will surprise you and leave you in a persistent state of awe.

THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO is much more than the story of Jimmie Fails (played by Jimmie Fails!) working to take ownership of his childhood home - a noteworthy architecture piece and magnificent mansion built by his grandfather’s own two hands - with the help of his best friend Mont (Jonathan Majors). It is a story of two men, a city and its residents trying to adapt and ride off constant waves of change for better of worse...

Although its third act is not as flawless as the rest, it still is commendable for trying to achieve so much and make a valid, timely and important statement about modern society and a community (something the movie cleverly does all along thanks to a “Greek chorus” of man, random street people, and bus riders)

For the sake of comparison, you get the raw and emotional appeal of MOONLIGHT ( 😭 cuz, yes it will make your eyes water right off the bat as it is so precious and FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!) + a MOMMY like masterful and poetic use of haunting score&music to highlight pure moments of "surreal realism" (your eyes and ears will thank you too!)

In respect to these aforementioned films and other masterpieces of Cinema, THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO exude passionate and affecting lyricism, lifted by a fantastic cinematography (best of the year so far #oscarworthy) with mastered tracking, aerial shot or camera angles and positionings in surprising places. Every other shot is splendid and a cause for wonderment.

The narrative and dialogues is peculiar, bewitching, mixing colloquialism and poesy. Moreover, oddly the film has touches of musicality and an almost old-school feel about it (which is interesting as in few scenes the characters are watching black and white old movies)

Of course, the house is in a way at the center of this and its exterior is as fascinating as its interior thanks to compelling production design work.

At some point, Jimmie enters his aunt' s storage room filled with everything that was left from their previous house, and it was like entering a new world; a cabinet of wonders. All the props really appeared to tell a story.

The performances lead by Jimmie Fails and Jonathan Majors are Oscar-worthy ( 100% in for Majors for best supporting) and subverting a lot of stereotypes - especially for marginalized, weirdos and people on some kind of "artistic spectrum" or socially awkward like rarely seen in this manner ... and so TRUE! The “Greek chorus” was one of the example of subverting stereotypes thus our expectations.

Again, not to dwell in collation, but the portrayal of Black men friendships, the touching realness of the “Greek Chorus” and Jonathan Majors character weirdness seems to use that same Moonlight playbook of showing us how we need to see more of that intersectionality

And last but not least, let’s talk about the music...

From the opening, it helped us getting those chills and highlighted the strange nostalgia emanating from THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANSISCO.

Emile Mosseri and director Joe Talbot (who apparently dabbled in music too!) put out an enthralling eclectic mix of classical, alt, modern, and a fusion of all of these things. Thus we went home and looked for it online and listen to it over and over again!

That San Francisco take by Mike Marshall is everything and should be nominated for an Oscar for best song

And frankly best score... (Listen to this one and tell me I’m wrong)

It is such an Art film and a masterpiece in its own right as it made us stand in ovation in the inside more than once! In all honest, it was a done deal from the opening segment all the way to that poetic synchronized skate dance. It deserved a standing ovation because how often is a movie able to make you shiver and shed tear in the first 10 minutes just by being?! And being beautiful!

It is a great ode to the city of San Francisco but also in a way it felt like every big iconic city subject to the same bittersweet effect of gentrification and economic benefit ...

All the places we love to hate and hate to love. Places where homeless, hobos, the naked man, the street artists are often saying the wisest and most relatable things. Places where tourist are welcomed because they bring that sweet mon$y but also ruin everything... Places where transplants have to learn the way without being jerks and earn their right to love or hate But also places that instantly becomes home, because home is where the heart is, but it is also where your people at, and where you are the happiest no matter if you have to wait for hours for a bus, do all the annoying life things, or simply stand there looking at all the good and bad it offers

MORAL OF THE STORY: 8.5/10 THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO is definitely in the #2019top10movie and need to be seen... So WATCH 👏THIS👏 MOVIE👏

The Music On Screen Revival Continues With ROCKETMAN (10 Takeways)

1. It was surprisingly interesting to realize that ROCKETMAN is pure musical (because some of us are lame AF when it come to musical...Not sure why/cant help it butwe love it! ;).It might go against every fibers in our being but we will gobble them all with excitement!)

Which means...

2. On the biopic side of thing if you thought BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY was brushed over, then boy oh boy, this one really feels like vignette wiith over-the-top acting (which does not necessarily mean bad acting) but the narrative is sadly lacking real depth and that was kinda frustrating... And it will surely annoy the people coming here thinking this was A STAR IS BORN kinda drama. (0oops!! #sorrynotsorry)

3. Having “the-very-Oscar-worthy-no-pb-no-complaint-Rami-Maleck” NOT sing for Mercury was the best idea ever ever (which btw also worked great back then before Boseman became T’challa cuz for example, some voices CANNOT be imitated.... Time will tell how Jennifer Hudson/Diana Ross will be welcomed - little doubt it will disappoint tho ;) ) But even though Taron ain’t bad at all, it was a bit sad not to hear Elton’s voice... BUT again, as a musical it worked perfect perfect!

So lets talk about the songs/music...

4. Why did they cut them short like 90% of the time!!! This was maddening and goes back to the “editing from hell” for peeps with short attention spams this films featured! 😭

5 & 6. Let talk about the costumes: Ssoooo flamboyant+!!! So lovely lovely and reminding us that (even tho some of us done it before ) Elton John dress-up costume can always be a thing ;) (or with a very 2019 twist ‘’Elton John Snow knows nothing” mix! ) Side note:Seriously whoever comes to see an Elton John movie and gets all “confused” about gay moments needs to stop right the F now! Nothing shocking at all in this, it is like your PG stuff. But sure this ain’t BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY cut for China! And thanks the production for that, because, BR missed the mark. However ROCKETMAN has straight dudes portraying non-strictly-straight leads which is kinda boring and “are we not suppose to be done with that yet Hollywood?!” BUT mixed-feelings on this one, as the man/the artist/the subject/The Rocketman himself approved, and rightfully mentioned that acting=most believable actor should get the role...😅 So whatever at least we got costumes fit for all folks and more 😜

7. Oh SEEING ROCKETMAN in theater will remind you of the power of CINEMA! Because nothing makes us more happy (no matter how good or bad the film will be ;) ) than going to see a movie on opening night (or even better at a fest or in any room full of connoisseurs!), a film made to be watched on the biggest screen avail, in a room full of strangers as eager as you - for the same or different reasons - And then you can feel the “magical” vibes the moment before any highly-anticipated flicks where the exiting trailers get people in the right kinda mood up until opening credit where we do no know what to expect yet....This feeling CANNOT BE REPRODUCED anywhere else. This is also the “magic of Cinema” and this is probably as close to a “church-like” feeling as it gets! So sure ROCKETMAN will be enjoyable at home BUT not sure some of us will appreciate it, and its technical value, on the same level if we were to see it at home... Sad but true just like a parade, some movies are not relating well when not “lived” with an audience.✨

8. Another one featuring “The dubious manager” stereotype. It has to be said that Graham cannot be a more suitable for this role! It is like he was born to do this! Once again showing that is defo one of the greatest character actor of his generation.

9. Unfortunately, although enjoyable ROCKETMAN might not be as award-worthy as one would have hope...

Sure some would do they best pushing for best actor/supporting (good job but don’t think so! Maybe a nom for Golden Globe for best musical and best acting in musical/comedy at best for) and then great odds for any award to do with costume and maybe long very longgggggg shot at directing....

10. Which brings us to Fletcher back at it again after BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (which in all fairness was more “epic” perhaps...AND DID NOT CUT SONGS HALFWAY TROUGH!!!!!!) Well, then okay dude go on with all the biopics you want we will watch it! ;) But but but tackling Madonna next seems like a “risky business”! BUT whatever bring it on man, we will take anything Madonna as well any day so good luck casting That! 😂🙈

MORAL OF THE STORY: ROCKETMAN ✔️ 7.25-7.5/10

To go back to this “music/musical on screen revival”, now that the uneven FOSS/VERDON is over and ROCKETMAN has been seen, it is time to give us YESTERDAY right NOWWWW! :) (and BLINDED BY THE LIGHT as well please) cuz some of us secretly wish YESTERDAY will become one of the best film of the year... We still have faith in “Danny Boy” lol lol lol )
