I’m still thinking about Hunter carving palismen, which would mean that he’s skilled in wood working. This opens a WHOLE NEW ASPECT of Hunter to explore. He could branch out into carpentry, or metal working! Maybe some minor construction!

Hunter, with the help of Gilbert (a known construction witch), would build a forever home for him and Willow. He would build their child’s crib and carve their first toys. Build Willow flower beds, path stone in her garden, maybe a nice seating area so they can sit in their yard and enjoy watching the birds peak at his personal bird house/feeder.

If Luz was celebrating her 18th birthday in the finale (whether it be her actual birthday or around it), then that means:

Gus is 15/16.

Amity is 17.

Willow is 18.

Hunter is 19/20.

Hunter is the type of partner who always has a hair tie on his wrist just in case Willow needs one. He has many packs of them because he always tells Willow to keep them whenever he gives her one, only for her to lose it. It’s a never ending cycle.

"Hunter, I don't think that was meant for the group chat."

Brown eyes moved from his scroll, seeing Gus covering his mouth with crescent shaped eyes and an obvious smile behind his fingers. The light of his friend's scroll and the high risen sun from the window were the only things that lit his face up, but Hunter still had to squint to see him since seeing in the dark wasn't part of his many talents; the absolute beam that was Gus' expression could be noticed from a mile away.

"What are you talking about?" Hunter asked, using the base of his palm to rub against his bare forehead, hair being pushed back by a borrowed green headband.

Gus turned his scroll around for Hunter to see exactly what he was looking at, which happened to be the Emerald Entrails group chat. The latest message was from Hunter, but that couldn't be possible. The conversation was previously about the girls' hang out; meet up plans from Viney and Willow with the rouge "here! (:" from Skara. After that, the conversation died into nothing.

Or, it was supposed to be nothing. Hunter's message, one that he so confidently sent to Willow privately, was plastered in the group chat for the whole team to see.

Gus gave him no time react. He turned his phone back around and typed out a message so fast that it made Hunter's eyes shake. A light ping was heard from his hands, causing him to look down towards his scroll to see that he was, in fact, inside the group chat.

Hunter felt his face explode in flames. Gus couldn't swallow his laugh anymore, letting it out loud enough to disturb the neighbors. Hunter threw his scroll to the side and lunged for him, a battle cry filling the room and interrupting Gus' tickled pink moment.

"Dude, wait!" Gus tried to escape him by jumping off the couch, nearly tripping over the coffee table but managing to get around it. They danced around the table for a moment, Gus going left while Hunter went right. Gus raised his hands, "Come on, we're just teasing! You're getting better at texting!"

That didn't help the situation. Hunter jumped over the piece of furniture, making Gus squawk out in surprise. The blond grabbed Gus' arm and tried to reach for his scroll from behind, which caused Gus to bend over and type out another message with one hand as laughter erupted from him once more.

As Hunter managed to tackle Gus to the ground, shoving the scroll far away from his grasp and threatening to make him eat the lint underneath the refrigerator, he did not notice his own scroll lighting up with a private message.

Gus and Mat have such good Aladarius parallel. Frienemies mixed with rivalry. They aren’t afraid to make each other cry or upset. If they get in a fight they act like nothing happened the next day, like a factory reset. I love them.

Something about jewelry exchange and giving hunter that hair clip.. the golden earrings everyone was obsessing over that never appeared.. I'm connecting the two dots

Hunter is not normally a jewelry type of man. However, on a random Tuesday, he starts wearing a set of gold earrings. When asked, he'd brush it off with a "I wanted to try something new!" The pushing for an answer never extended further than that, and eventually it was dropped entirely.

But then, years into their relationship, Hunter reveals that he had bought the earrings initially to give to Willow so that The Boiling Isles tradition of giving your significant other jewelry can be properly fulfilled (he just spent years wearing these things, that ought to be enough!).

Willow gives him her hairclip in return, rather that be because it was the only thing on her at the time or it was the only thing that she wore regularly enough to satisfy the tradition.
