PT Watches Mandalorian

Settled into watch Mandalorian with my mom today! (She’s a baby yoda addict.) I regret, because I want to Marathon the Kriff out of this.

Mandalorian s1e1:

Kalamari _what._ Everybody in the basement. 1 building door on the surface. Hm. I appreciate the effort it takes to work beskar AND the fact that they didn't show it to us. Everybody gets their helmets first. Even the children. Why? My head was MUCH smaller as a baby. Maybe babies are exempt but when you get older you gotta have a helmet, and as you age they get traded around until you get Your Face. "You're not so bad for a droid." Din was run over by the clone wars? Makes sense. If my timeline is right, he'd be that age. BABY. I think among the folks giving the bounty, the scientist is the only one remotely concerned with the safety of baby.

S1E3: I lowkey ship Din and the scientist. Just a little. He's a coward but he tried. Not everyone is raised a warrior. I'm sure he can be taught. The Entire Covert: we have no idea exactly why we're doing this fight but this is our Din in stupid shiny beskar because he forgot to buy paint and he said fuck everybody so I guess fuck everybody.

So when I first watched Into the Spiderverse, I didn't really know what I was getting into. That was a personal problem. At the end of it, I was afraid we'd never see them again. It concluded really well.

So the thing I don't actually get about Spider-Woman's costume is why the blue ballet slippers. There's no other blue to pull the costume together??? Also, I've seen exactly 1 pair blue ballet slippers in my life, usually they come in pink.
