Sessions

This is probably going to be only for a very niche part of the internet, but I'm obsessed with Bones again at the moment so here ya go.

Agent Y/n is an FBI agent that occasionally works with Booth, Bones, and the team. She has become good friends with Sweets, and Angela. After an extra brutal case that involved a serial killer and an intense fixation on Agent Y/n herself, Y/n needs mandated counseling from her favorite psychologist. The following are the sessions that document the beginning of something more than a professional or even friendly relationship.  

Session 1

“For the record, I think this is totally unnecessary.” Y/n sighed. 

���I do not agree. You’ve been through a traumatizing experience.” 

“How is this any more traumatizing than the events I witness on a day-to-day basis. This is literally my job Lance.” 

“It’s not everyday that a killer is specifically targeting you y/n, so, once again, I disagree. Plus it’s mandated by the FBI, so you don’t really have a choice.” Lance said matter of factly, “I’ll take your extreme eye roll as acceptance. You know some people say that your eyes could get stuck that way.” 

“Shut up and do your psycho shit.” 

“There’s nothing for me to do, we just need to talk. We talk all the time, what’s the problem now?” 

“We talk as friends, this is not us talking as friends Lance, this is some bullshit test to see if I’m still capable of doing my job. I don’t think it’s fair to me to think that just because some asshole murderer decided to set his sights on me means that I suddenly don’t have the ability to do my damn job anymore!” 

“Y/N that’s, well that’s actually an accurate depiction so I can’t debate that. But I want you to understand it’s not me personally that feels like that. It’s the men upstairs, as one would say, you can still talk to me.” 

“Isn’t that a conflict of interest?” Y/n smirked at him

“Well, if I thought this could actually be a problem I absolutely would have suggested that you go to a different psychologist, but I don’t think it’s that kind of problem. I still think you need to talk to someone though.” 

“Ehh, I think we need to talk more about how you’re totally showing favoritism here.”

“Let’s talk about that after we talk about you, yeah?”

 “If you insist, Dr. Sweets.”

Session 2 “How many more of these do we have to do?” Y/n complained. 

“This is only session number two y/n, I think you know it’s going to take more than that. I would like to discuss how you’re feeling now. It’s been exactly 10 days since he was caught.” 

“Well, I would still like to talk about how you’re showing immense favoritism by seeing me as a patient since we’re quote, unquote friends.”

“Woah, woah, now that makes it seem like you don’t think we’re friends.” 

“Now, I didn’t say that, but I would like to dissect why that was your immediate thought.” 

“Oh, so now you’re the psychologist, huh?” Lance asked, quietly laughing at y/n. 

“Yes, you know what. I think I would like to switch professions…would you mind switching seats with me? I think it’s time for me to take over this session.”  

“You know what, sure. I think this will be good for my analysis. Go ahead there y/n, take your new seat.”

 “So Mr. Sweets-”

“Woah, woah so in your fantasy my degrees suddenly fail to exist?”

“Shhhhhh, we’re doing things my way now, remember? So, Mr. Sweets, why is it that you seem to be showing me favoritism?” 

“Well technically, how can I be showing favoritism if, in this fantasy, you have taken away my degrees therefore I would have no-”

“Lance!!!!! You are not making this fun for me!!!! Can you stop with your logic please and just answer my question?! Why are you avoiding the answer?” Y/n said half joking, but also half annoyed at him for not letting her have any fun. 

“Okay, okay. Well, Dr. y/l/n, I suppose I show you favoritism because you’re one of my favorite people. Some may say, as I’m sure you know with your vast knowledge of psychology and all the varying fields, that I’ve been creating my own family since my parents died. I consider you one of those people.”

 “Wow…that’s. I…don’t….that’s probably one of the most honest and sweetest things anyone has ever said to me… As a friend, not as a psychologist of my vast knowledge, will you tell me about them? About your parents?” 

“Of course I will.” 

Session 3

“Y/n are we finally going to discuss what we’re here to talk about?” 

“I don’t wanna.” 

“Do you think that maybe it means something that you don’t want to talk about it?” 

“No, I just don’t wanna.”

“Y/n, come on. The longer this drags out the longer we have to keep doing these sessions.” 

“Well maybe I like the sessions and I don’t want them to end.” 

“Well, you know they don’t have to, right? Just because we speak about what we have to discuss doesn't mean that we have to stop having the sessions, just that I can finally sign off on the papers your bosses are asking for. If we can get through this we can talk about whatever you want in the next session, maybe even me again if that’s what you would prefer.” 

“Fine, but I just want to say that I am doing this entirely against my will…”

“I will definitely put that on the record.” 

“I guess what I feel is…not safe. I don’t feel safe at my house, I don’t feel safe at work, I don’t feel safe in the field. Honestly, the only place I feel safe is here. I guess that’s why I don’t want these meetings to end. See there goes my vast psychological knowledge at work.”

There was a moment of silence where y/n said, “See this is exactly why I didn’t want to say anything. Your face looks sad, like you’re pitying me right now.” 

“I’m not pitying you, y/n. That’s not what I'm feeling right now. I’m feeling sad for someone I care about because they just told me they don’t feel safe anymore. I’m frustrated that you can’t function in life without being scared. I’m angry that some maniac decided to set his sights on you and now you’re not who you were before. I’m just pissed, I’m…I don’t even know.” 

“I think you’re more angry than I am. Can’t you take some comfort that I find some solace in here with you?” 

“Well, I mean yeah, but it doesn’t make me any less angry. Why…why do you feel safe here?”

“I don’t know. I mean I guess because well first off, you obviously. Talking to you makes me feel like I don’t have anything to worry about. It’s also a small office, only one access point, so logically I have a better chance of protecting myself.” 

“I don’t like that, but I can understand it. I wish that you didn’t have to feel like that.” Lance said, putting his notebook down and moving next to y/n on the couch. 

“Not very psychologist-like of you, Lance.”

“You’re right, but very friend-like of me. That’s what’s more important right now I believe.” 

“Well thank you for being my friend. I…I…uhh really appreciate that. I appreciate you.” 

Session 4

“Sooooooo, you said we can talk about you this time, right??”

“If you’re so inclined, I still think we should talk about you though.” 

“I just think that you want to avoid being psycho-analyzed like you do to everyone who sits on this couch.” 

“Hey, that’s not fair.” 

“I think it’s very fair. Anywhooooooooo, tell me more about what you were like as a kid.”

“Oh so now you’re going to delve into my childhood trauma?” 

“I mean yes that was the plan, but you seem to have uncovered it way too soon. See no fun.” 

“I already told you about growing up with my parents. Dissect from that what you will.”

“Well yeah, but what were you like, 6 or 7? What about before that? And what about your biological parents? Did you know anything about them?” 

“It’s not really something I want to get into y/n.” 

“Come on, you show me yours, I’ll show you mine. We can go question for question.” 

“Y/n. I said I do not want to talk about it! THAT’S IT.” Lance said angrily. 

“Lance, I’m sorry, I didn’t know how serious it was. Really, I’m sorry for pushing. I didn’t mean to upset you.” 

“No, y/n, it’s me. God, I’m such an asshole. It just…well it wasn’t a good time before I got adopted by my parents. I didn’t feel safe before them. That’s…that’s all I want to say.” 

“Understood. I’m sorry that you had to go through that, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to hurt you now, let alone little 6 year old you with a sweet little baby face. You know your last name actually fits you very well, kinda like fate if you ask me.” 

“That’s very kind y/n. Thank you, I appreciate it.” Sweets smiled at y/n. 

“Just being a friend, nothing to thank me for here.” 

Session 5

“So, I’ve come to a conclusion.” Y/n said, smiling cheekily to Lance.

“Oh, and what’s that?” 

“You’re literally being paid to sit here and talk to your best friend. That’s like a totally cushy gig.” 

“Oh, you’re my best friend?”

“I mean yes. Clearly, we are definitely best friends. It's, like, completely obvious.” 

“I was unaware so thank you for informing me of that.” 

“Lance, come on. You totally know we’re best friends. Don’t try to hide it. You have no reason to be embarrassed, you know, I’m a pretty cool person.” 

“Well, you are a pretty cool person. And like I said previously, I do consider you part of the family I’ve made. I guess it is obvious we’re best friends, silly me for not recognizing it earlier.” 

“I like talking to you Lance.”

“I like talking to you as well, y/n.” 

Session 6

“Y/n.” 

“Woah, you sound serious.”

“I am, there’s something I have to talk to you about.” 

“Okay, I’m listening.” 

“I can’t be your psychologist anymore.” 

“Woah, wait, what. What do you mean? Where is this coming from? Lance, did I do something? Say something?”

“Y/n, it’s not about you. Well, I mean not like that. It’s nothing that you did, or said. I…I just. Well you were right before, this is kind of a conflict of interest. Professionally, I shouldn’t be seeing you. It’s not right.” 

“Oh, I, uh…thanks for proving me right I guess. Um…I think I’m going to go now.” 

“No! Wait! I know you feel safe here, with me, in this room. We can still talk here, we can still have these conversations. I don’t want to take that away from you. I’m just recommending that I cannot adequately finish clearing you from what happened.”

“I don’t understand what’s changed suddenly. I brought this up weeks ago. I don’t want to go sit in someone else’s office and talk about this shit. I didn’t want to go through this in the first place. Lance, I don’t understand why you would do this. You know how hard this was for me, I can’t believe you would do this.” 

“Y/n, just trust me, it’s for the best.” 

“I don’t trust you right now. This isn’t what is best for me. I can’t believe this, I can’t believe yo-”

Lance cut y/n off, “Y/n I LOVE YOU…I…I am in freaking love with you and that’s why I can’t do this anymore. It’s not fair to me either.” 

“Lance…I…you…I…” 

“I think you should leave now.”

“Wait, wait, no…I love you too. I’ve been falling for you since the moment I met you.” 

“y/n-”

“I’m serious. All of these sessions just confirmed it more for me. That’s why I felt safe here, with you. You make me feel like I don’t have to worry or be scared anymore.” 

“Y/n, I…you make… you’re-” 

“Just shut up and kiss me already.” Y/n said, already leaning in to place her lips on his.

Alexander are you happy with the life you have now. Do you look back at simple days of your life before humans got involved with longing? Are you happy with Natalie. Are you glad she found you? Hello there, Anon. I’m glad we are just boldly psycho-analyzing me now. That’s…. Excellent. For the record I am not stone cold, okay? That makes me sound frigidly unapproachable. I may be a little defensive… at times… perhaps… but can you really blame me? I’m not exactly about to throw myself at the mercy of every human I come across, they’re extraordinarily dangerous and, to put it bluntly, quite ignorant and shortsighted. They can hurt me without even trying so… yes I put up a boundary or two.

Anyway, now that we’ve cleared that up, on to your actual questions.

Am I happy with the life I have now? You know what, Anon? Perhaps I am. I mean, please understand, I still have quite bit of work ahead of me to train Natalie properly… but to her credit, she’s come a long way. All my vital needs are met, and for the first time I’m finally able to experience a leisurely pace of life. She includes me in her studies which I find thrillingly engaging, and thanks to her I am spoiled for choice when it comes to food. It is certainly a much better life, by objective standards of measurement, than I’ve ever known. I can’t believe I’m saying this, much less admitting it to you publicly, but when Natalie holds me, gently, in her cupped palm, I feel this immediate relief, like the tension is leaving my body? She’s so warm and her fingers are soft like silk. I don’t entirely hate being held by her.

Ah, well you see, Anon, I’ve never known a life without humans interfering. I’d rather not go into details, but suffice it to say, I’ve been dealing with the unwelcome presence and danger of humans since day one of my very existence. There was a brief time where I thought I’d escaped them, only to be dragged back, trapped between a giant finger and thumb. So. Excuse me for being blunt here…. I’d just really rather not discuss it. Thank you for understanding.

Am I happy with Natalie and am I glad she found me? If you’d asked me that when we first met I’d have vehemently ranted and railed, shouting “No!” at the top of my lungs. And while I didn’t exactly ask for any of this, and it’s not what I thought I wanted, I’m finding that she’s not so insufferable after all, and that humans, while dim-witted, clumsy and slow, aren’t all bad if she’s among them. Truth be told, after that waking nightmare of a vet visit, I saw how much she cared about my well being, how she blamed herself, how careful she was with me… well, I’m not here to get emotionally compromised and weak in the knees or anything of the sort, but it made me respect her more and, if pressed, I’d say her presence in my life is more or less a positive than a negative.

And just to clarify our “bond” as you put it, is absolutely platonic. No question about that. We’ve got a mutually beneficial circumstance that we’re both taking advantage of: she helps me get back on my feet, I keep her from flunking out of law school. It’s a perfectly logical transaction of services.

I appreciate the ask. Now stop perpetuating my reputation as “stone cold” as you put it! I most certainly am not. I’m very fun and approachable… as long as you’re halfway intelligent that is…

You know what I love about this change with Aemond the most? It doesn’t change anything. He will still go down in their history books as the psycho war criminal that arguably threw the first punch in the war. A bunch of Baratheons watched him lose his shit on a 12 year old and demanded his eye. They saw him chase this kid on the back of his dragon to catch up to him. And then they hear reports that the kid is dead. Of course they logically believe he went insane and pushed his dragon to murder this kid. And why would he admit the truth that he couldn’t control the largest dragon in the world? Targaryens are supposed to be godlike magical beings who ride and control these nuclear weapons of war. Why would any of them admit that they didn’t mean for their dragon to maim and murder? They can’t control the lords or the smallfolk if they aren’t properly feared. Letting the audience see Aemond inadvertently killed Luke gives us another reason to feel sympathy for him, but also maintains his war criminal status within their world.

I think this change was done much better than Laenor’s change. Aemond’s doesn’t impact anything except his own character’s reactions and motives. It fleshes him out more. On the opposite end Laenor still being out there is too dangerous. Either he’s gone into the sunset forever and we just have to accept that at no point in history he ever made himself known and returned? Or he’s dealt with in a way that is unsatisfying (like Daemon secretly takes care of it when it no longer matters).

Is does make me wonder though about what other ways the writers could change the narrative while still maintaining their world’s truths. Like maybe Daemon was with Jace when they went to save Viserys and when he was holding onto the ship Daemon is the one who killed him and told Rhaenyra he drowned. It would maintain Jace’s death, show Daemon was not about to let a bastard take his son’s throne, and maintain their histories? There’s so many possibilities with this I’m actually super excited to see where they might go with being able to maintain the correct records of their history, but still shock the audience and make these characters more human. I just hope they take Aemond’s change as a blueprint and have learned from their mistake with Laenor.

Yeah agreed, it does put Aemond in a very interesting situation because as you said, he basically can't admit that he just lost control of the dragon and Vhagar did what she wanted because he just accidentally started a fucking war and showing any sign of weakness is not the tea at this moment. It'll be interesting to see who he will tell this information to, and as loath as I am to give Aegon credit for anything I actually lowkey wonder if he celebrated Luke's death to take the heat off of Aemond and give the impression that this was actually some sort of plan on his or their parts.

I think there's more to Chip than meets the eye. I feel like the other good boys (Shawn, Henry, and Ash) are pretty straight forward characters. Chip feels like he's hiding something.

There's a part in the episode where he and Tabby are presenting their scene concept to the class and the camera pans to Chip smiling at Tabby BUT there's a clear shot of the poster behind Chip and it's of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. He's hiding something. I just know he is! We're on to you, Chip!

Oh Chip is definitely the one who assaulted Tabby did you see how the camera panned over to show Chips worried reaction in episode 4 when Tabby was explaining the shower scene to Greg saying “she might have even slipped something into your drink” and then shows Chip looking guilty/worried and also Tabby has been recording videos in the guys locker rooms to see if any of the guys have scars on their backs that Tabby left when she got assaulted but she hasn’t seen anything yet I think when Chip has to take his shirt of for the Psycho shower scene that’s when it’s gonna trigger Tabby’s memory and maybe Chip will have a scar on his back from her scratches

The Karen, as a social evolutionary figure.

The Karen exists because it’s socially unacceptable to beat the shit out of women.

Let me explain: In society, if a man acts the fool and tries to argue and force business and other people to operate according to them, he gets the shit beaten out of him and the authorities called to get them back in line and out of the way. As a man, you are not allowed to make a scene or threaten or antagonize, because it’s proof you’re willing to escalate. Thus, heated arguments are always at the risk of getting out of control.

Now, enter woman.

A woman is typically smaller, less muscular, and it’s considered an incredible faux pas to treat them as brutally as you do a man. Even a woman flailing around, meleeing people is considered an outlier that does not ‘count’ regarding what the average woman is capable of. Even if the woman is 6′0, she is a woman, and you don’t treat women with violence and not expect either legal action or a social reaction that hovers around the atavistic response of bees defending their queen. Hitting a female person provokes more irrational violent response in their defense by others in proximity, than a man does.

Simply put, you have to use kid gloves when dealing with women, or else you lose in the court of public opinion and anarchy wins out. And it doesn’t matter how antagonistic or disruptive they are in whatever they want from you. As a species, we have not historically had cameras, audio and video recording equipment for impartial review to prove things. Rule of thumb, give the woman the benefit of the doubt, trust that some man was the one causing the problem, not them.

Enter the Karen.

The Karen lives to exploit this tenuous, slapshod relationship. Karen will exploit the need to get customers out and on their way and to stop making scenes, escalating or threatening the harmony and peace of mind of other people around them. The Karen will choose to be difficult and disruptive as incentive to give them whatever they ask for to make them leave, no matter how irrational it is. Even if their logic is entirely self-serving, Karen will stand right there holding up the lines, sticking to her own selfish take on things, whether it’s a misunderstanding they’re choosing to misunderstand, or a  scam they’re trying to pull over on someone else.

The Karen socially evolved to lob abuses at people and expect reprecussions on them if they escalate it beyond where she’s willing to push it. The Karen will engage in bad faith arguments and expect others to listen, while speaking over everybody else, or insulting them with non-sequitors. All in the name of trying to provoke others into rage and violence, which means they lose and the Karen becomes a victim.

The Karen loves sticking their camera in everybody elses face and then arguing it’s unlawful for them to do the same to her. The Karen will “accidentally” try to destroy other peoples property and make it ambiguous just whose fault of aggression that was.

The Karen is a psycho-social female strategy to get away with being an antagonistic situation, where people bargain by nipping it in the bud by pre-emptively giving them whatever thing they want or avoiding dealing with them to get that living time bomb moving on to be somebody elses problem.

We’ve seen an explosion of the Karen phenomenon, because for the first time in human evolution, we have cheap, ubiquitous cameras and impartial eyes that proves the poor womens aren’t all just being abused and ripped off for no reason by evil misogynistic men. It’s like catching a prehistoric fish or a cryptic in the wild.

And we’ve seen Karens become a forefront type, because westerners are having fewer families. In the past, the Karen’s entitlement would be taken out on her kids, her husband, her cousis, her siblings. As humans have less of those, they run out of easy family members to henpeck in the hierarchy to do their work for them or do labor for them, so that means they both aren’t getting to raise in a large familial social hierarchy as well as aren’t getting the satisfaction of putting others beneath themselves.

So they find a surrogate in the nearest fascimille. They abuse retail staff and lecture them whatever they subjectively view to be true, demand results they want, interrupt and antagonize and embarrass, promising to sink their fangs and claws in and Not Let Go for a large period of time.

It’s like demanding Nephew Louie go shovel dirt to fill in the driveway so she doesn’t have to do it, but without Louie to do it. And yet, the demand a Louie exist to fill that niche doesn’t go away. So, they hit McDonalds or Walmart to argue about fucking straws and napkins and make big scenes.

The Karen is an evolutionary strategy of a threat display to destroy reputations and tempt people into social role destroying violence and outbursts, of a social animal.

 It’s a sacred cow loose in a fine China shop and no one is allowed to touch her as she bucks over expensive equipment and merchandise, just wait until she’s done holding up lines and destroying merchandise and then clean up afterwards. While feigning just being irrational, her actions are premeditated, just petty. The kind of spoiled, “I’m invincible” energy that is very prevalent in young men that talk a big game until they get their jaws broken and ribs kicked in for trying to assert that dominance on other people. Without the humble pie, because they expect to never be touched.

Karen is a creature of female entitlement that has been obfuscated from the conversation, as we’re not allowed to mention it, as even acknowledging it exists would be shreiked at as just straight misgyny. From the same people that exempt women from any conversations about domestic violence, constantly gender the behaviors as abusive and inherently male, and omit women from any sexual dimorphic pattern crimes in the conversation.

We haven’t been allowed to acknowledge her and the nature of her existence, because again, “sacred cow.” To acknowledge women have specific patterns of ways they abuse and harangue would mean that we punish them for it, when they don’t just want gendered abuse laws to punish people. They specifically want gendered punishment laws to redistribute wealth and bottleneck social ladder climbing of men.

Society does everything it can to keep women with as little stigma regarding the capacity of crime as possible, given their necessary role in having the next generation. It is in a nation’s best interests to let the sacred cows have a certain amount of leeway, so more will decide to have kids. Even to the point of imprisoning men and turning over their properties at a pittance to assure this happens.

This is why Karen has no self-awareness and continues to be a menace. Women are incentivized NOT to, if it’s in their own self-interest. We haven’t really been allowed to talk about it, and our criminal justice system can’t punish it without destroying its population. If we treated mothers as poorly as fathers, society would be more than half broken. We’d have less real estate.

Karen has been empowered to destroy everything in her path on the way to the food court.

how i would run sm: Red Velvet edition

back to the series with the next logical group, Red Velvet. sm's first group after Exo and my ult girl group, similarly under a cut as per last post

triple debut (2014-2015): so to start, i actually dont mind Happiness as RV's debut and that its ot4. Yeri was really young, so i wouldnt really change those first two eras (Be Natural is my beloved but its a single and a remake so it doesnt count as their first cb in my eyes). what i would change is the schedules and some promo.

firstly, like Exo i think RV would have benefited from some sort of webtoon or lore comic starting at the second debut for ICC bc thats when we start to get hints that something in Cake Land isnt right. i have a lot of thoughts on RV lore/storyline which we will cover in the upcoming kwangya post (after nct and aespa posts bc they are integral to my version of kwangya).

second, Seulgi should have solo debuted in 2015 between Dumb Dumb and the lesbian christmas song (Wish Tree was iconic and we love Lee Jooyoung). shes been RV's ace since pre-debut, everyone knew and loved her and acknowledged her talents, and she was in multiple mvs of her sunbaes (Henry's Fantastic was the best). Seulgi being the first solo RV member feels right in every way, and while it would be very different than what we got for 28 Reasons, i think that might be partially a good thing.

the start of the success era (2016-2017): Russian Roulette was perfect and i have nothing to say about it. The only thing I would have done differently for them in 2016 was pushed for more solo/unit content, like station songs, vlogs, arts and crafts vids? like just stuff where theyre having fun and hanging out with no pressure. the main 2017 change tho is Joy solo debut. sm is so fucking stupid for NOT capitalizing on the attention Joy got from The Liar and His Lover, a show all about how perfect and amazing she is as a singer! like have her prepare and record between Red Flavor and Peek a Boo and have Peek a Boo pushed back a week or two. the concerts were a good idea, but they really should have capitalized on Joy's performance more. im still annoyed she hasnt properly debuted especially bc clips of her singing from TLAHL was what made me look into RV in the first place and why Joy is my girl ult of ults

Bad Boy (2018): id push Bad Boy back a little bc the time between PaB and BB feels too short, especially going by my plan. other than that, no major notes since the eras were pretty good and the concerts were a good idea. maybe a bit more of a rest after RBB bc of the short turn around time between that and the Japan cb + NA tour

ReVe Fest pt.1 (2019): the Ellie Goulding collab was amazing. ReVe Fest day 1 was a mess, and i say that as a Zimzalabim supporter. the styling was horrific and it all needs to go, the mv should have been more circusy and less performance vid imo, and the song is fine but maybe a less chanty chorus? ReVe Fest day 2 was good and idk why people hate Umpah Umpah bc it was cute and summery like it should have been. and then the Finale, Psycho was one of the best eras taken from us too quickly. i mean the only thing to change is to stop wendy from falling bc that killed the whole momentum and their careers for a hot minute.

the hiatus (2020): now to be clear, i am not blaming wendy for her injury or suggesting she should have come back early. its good she rested and healed properly and came back slowly to make sure everything was okay. every idol should do that. that being said, we should have gotten an ot4 album even if it was just a mini. the girls basically did nothing for a whole year waiting for her and it really did hurt them/their momentum. they should have had more solo content through the year alongside the like two group things, then Seulrene debut in june like originally planned, and then and ot4 album in fall or winter.

back on track? (2021): ot5 being at smtown was great and got everyone hyped to see the group after a full year of hiatus and they teased a cb at the performance. and then wendy killed the hype by doing her solo debut 4 months later with a ballady slow song. and she had the audacity to be like "omg i feel so bad for making everyone wait and then doing a solo" like girl wtf?? anyway gripes about her aside. Queendom was cute, but it felt lackluster after the long wait and felt more like a b-side than a title. also the mv/concepts teased all this magic and powers and a whole universe only to give us literally nothing after the first minute. why were they in a post office when the teasers were about the antique shop?? i would have changed the mv a lot to either expand on the magic or fit the teasers better.

ReVe Fest pt.2 (2022): sm cancelled the concert (rightly) bc the girls got covid but then never rescheduled bc there were "no venues open" even tho the same thing happened to dream and they got rescheduled in like two weeks so what the fuck is that about? um anyway they should have done a concert after Feel My Rhythm but also not named it ReVe Fest bc theres no point and they arent connected. ALSO FMR was beautiful and all but what happened to the ballet concept which wasnt in the mv and why did they not expand on the weird half story with Dark Queen Seulgi and the garden etc? also also FMR felt like a b-side too which was disappointing especially after queendom. and im skipping ahead to birthday bc that was actually the biggest let down of the year. the concept/teaser photos had literally nothing to do with the mv or song, the song itself was easily their worst title and did not sound good in any way, the mv styling wasnt great for pretty much everyone, the cake ver selling out before preorders even ended and before they showed us what it was/what was in it was super annoying. birthday is the biggest let down era imo and ESPECIALLY after the beauty of Wildside. Wildside was the only release in 2022 for RV that i actually 100% enjoyed from the style to the mv to the song to the plot in the mv. like it was perfect and exactly what we should have gotten as a Korean title and era. i would have absolutely done something similar for birthday, especially with the grunge outfits/concept

future plans/ideas: Yeri and Irene solo debuts, Seulrene cb, Joy actual debut this time, more solo schedules especially for the actresses, more Yeri vlogs, Seulgi cb with a better song, my highly indulgent KaiJoyYuta trio, an even more indulgent trio of Seulgi/BoA/Yunho, i think thats all i have off the top of my head.

There are many detransitioners who were sure that they wanted the procedures but it turned out they had other underlying issues. Now they have permanent changes to their body and this often happens when they were minors. Blindly accepting that someone is trans isn’t love. It’s idiocy. There’s trans people, and mistaken people. There are issues with the system but you refuse to look into it. Just blindly follow along with the narrative. And even for actual trans kids, puberty blockers are dangerous. Saying anything otherwise is a blatant lie. And studies have proven that 60-90% of kids who have dysphoria end up loosing the dysphoria in puberty. And they live on without any transition happily. Transition procedures are not for kids. You people just instantly take any criticism in bad faith because that’s what you’re brainwashed to believe. You want to protect trans rights? Actually do the research. Prevent non-trans troubled people from making decisions they’ll regret by transitioning, don’t promote drugs that are harmful for kids, and don’t promote violence just because someone disagrees. Don’t use identity politics. Use logic and reasoning.

First, your claim that their are Many detransitioners who regret their decisions. Regret rates for gender afirming surgery are about 1% (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8099405/ from a study of 7928 people), The average regret rate for surgery is 14.4% (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28243695/ a meta study of 79 studies) so i think on the whole trans people are pretty happy with their decision. now obviously my heart goes out to the people with regret but they are a tiny minority.

Second you say "blindly accepting some is trans isn't love" i have to ask, what does this mean? am i suposed to psycho analyse my friends and loved ones despite my lack of expertise? then you go on to say "There’s trans people, and mistaken people." (you didn't need the 's on there that reads as 'There is trans people') this is a meaningless statement that adds nothing, its like saying "there are fish and not fish" uh ok what now.

Felton seems to really care about his project doing a lot of press right now compare that to Emma and Prada and she does the bare amount of promo. I know Felton needs money more probably but still he looks passionate about his book while Emma seems to be less interested in things she does and always moves to a new thing right away almost - Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Logically I know that since Felton is betting on high sales so he would try harder for the money but still if you see, an ad is a lot more mainstream and an occassion for publicity if that makes sense. In my country, even medium famed celebs who are only the brand ambassadors still take part in anywhere between 3-9 presscons for the product (at various cities/centres) and later if it's a big thing as in this case where Prada is going into perfumes for the first time, (I think?) a magazine spread and various screen and page interviews depending on how far the company will shell out to promote. But yeah they definitely have to do video interviews/press interviews - they can't just have a no-show at the launch event and then do zero video interviews and give maybe 2 written interviews which just seem like they were broken down from a single chat and full of pretentious psycho-babble😂! And this is just for celebs who are models/face of the ad. In her case she's CV (creative voice) and director as well so she could stand to actually try selling the product that must have the usual heavy Prada budget and hey, they even let her use it as an advert for herself! I find it hard to sympathise with the anxiety excuse her stans have been discussing to justify this bcs firstly she knew what she was doing when she chose to come back to public life from a sabbatical where she had been forgotten almost fully if she had chosen to live privately thereafter. Secondly, people do recorded interviews/recorded video appearances too so along with all posting her own shots from BTS as she's been doing, she could have recorded more stuff like the refill video she did, but talk about something that actually makes sense rather than that condescending recording teaching how to squeeze a bottle tip lol. And she could have posted this by recording in the safety of a small group of people and just put it out there, couldn't she? Compare it to Felton who's going on chat shows to talk about something from his past where he probably doesn't have much left to add but he's still going and talking about it and coming across as affable and charming in them.

With Lancome she went to Japan to promote it and did various interview. Compared to that the promo fir this fragrance was pretty minimal.
