I recently rewatched season 2 of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, and during "This For That" I noticed Pryce says "absofruitly," which I hadn't caught the first time. I now more than ever hope we get a season 3 and, in it, mean the rest of these captalist, fruit-focused fraggles. Almost every example of currency Pryce gave in the song was a fruit, I think? I don't know why but I'm so fascinated by that.
I also just really love Pryce, himself. I'd drawn kind of a parallel (a weak one, admittedly) between him and Lyle previously, and noted that I found Lyle more lovable, but still really liked Pryce. That's still true, but I'm starting to feel if Pryce had been in more episodes, like Lyle, that might not be the case.
I don't even know what about him just pinged the blorbo radar. A lot of it is probably his shame in the "Time To Live As One" number, when he realized what works for his community was not good for these fraggles, and introducing it to them had been bad. And the silent protesting when Mokey moved to include him in the song? Ugh. I'm so very weak for that kind of thing. And something about kind of this super-miniature "redemption" for a character who wasn't malicious, just ignorant that he was wrong is just... Really good.
So yeah, I've been having some fun extrapolating from what we saw of Pryce and expanding on it to flesh his character out because for whatever reason, I'm just, you know, a little obsessed.
I don't know if anyone else really cares, and if not, fair! But hey, regardless, if this gets me writing fanfic again (because it's been a hot minite!) simply due to me needing to create Pryce content in order for it to exist? I'll be thrilled!

Phil Dunster is following in the footsteps Gordon MacRae and Hugh Jackman (for at least two nights) and will play Curly in an upcoming performance of OKLAHOMA at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Tom Hendryk loves him some Philip.

-While Phil is going very live, a few other AFC Richmond-ers are going animated. Cristo, Hannah and Brett with Cristo providing the voice of Chipiri in THE CASAGRANDES MOVIE on Netflix;

-Also, for the children is James Lance, who appeared in the second installment of THE FAMOUS FIVE: PERIL ON THE NIGHT TRAIN.
James is living for this hat/scarf combo, isn't he?

Still in the kids realm, Brett has conquered the Muppets, now he is on to Fraggle Rock!

Appearing as Pryce, Brett also gets to sing in the episode.
-On the live-action side, we now have a release date for Moe Hashim's next project; the Anthony Hopkins gladiator saga THOSE ABOUT TO DIE - coming to Peacock on July 18th.

The only thing I recognize either Roland or Nolan's voice actors from is that Roland's also voiced Pryce Fraggle
That guy is more known for being on ted lasso but i think his most important role really is being on fraggle rock

I love the contrast between the two things that my mind has really latched onto from season 2 of "Back to the Rock," because on the one hand... Episode 5, "I'm Pogey!", was just so meaningful to me. I love Wembley, he's been my favorite fraggle since the days of the original and the rebooted take on him still holds that title, and as someone who is fluid in his own gender presentation it was very heartwarming seeing Wembley, a character I often call "such a mood," be a big part of the episode handling this topic. And then on top of the more implied and vague stuff (which, let me be clear, is not a complaint, it was all handled perfectly imo) you have Pogey, the first Henson Studio character I'm aware of to be canonically, explicitly they/them non-binary. I already found them so endearing last season, and the reason they are proud of their name and love to share it really, deeply resonated with me.
...And then on the other hand, it seems every season I'm just destined to be surprised by my interest in a new fraggle (or similar!) character with a connection to Mokey and voiced by a guest star. I didn't find Pryce quite as lovable as Lyle, but I still really like him. (Gee, my favorite modern character is Louie Duck and I like the green character doing a capitalist hustle, who woulda thought?) But the other thing with Pryce is the questions he raises! He comes from a different community of fraggles where "this for that" is the norm, and I just want to know more about that!
Shoutout to my bonus obsessions of the season, Ma Gorg getting the character glow-up I always longed to see her have in the original show, and of course, the affection between Gobo and Wembley being shown even more and in even sweeter ways. I really didn't think things could get gayer between them after Night of the Lights, but nah, Back to the Right seems determined to spoil the small (but currently feasting) group of fans shipping them. Love it.
And just in general, this season was great. It felt both even more entertaining and even more important in the messages it looks to teach youngsters (and hopefully adults too) than the first, which already did so much in both regards.
