So happy!!! Got the EPIC Skin of Vale. Di ko man nakuha yung collectors' skin but I'm grateful for this one PLUS I was able to purchase it at a discounted price since I was actively collecting the promo dias. Thank you na rin kay jowa kasi dinagdagan niya. Hehe!

Besides Vale's, I also previously got the EPIC Skins of Nana (Mecca Baby), Estes (Blacklist Internation) & Xavier (Gojo Satoru). These are my mains. I also hope na magkaroon na rin si Mathilda ng EPIC Skin since Elite pa lang siya meron and user din ako. HEHE. Nag-eeffort naman na si Moonton na magka-EPIC Skins na halos lahat ng heroes so, we'll definitely watch out for that.

Manager wants me to list every promo and upsell to every customer, and check in with them constantly (less than 5 minutes in between check ins) while they're shopping. Sometimes a customer will come in that doesn't speak English, most commonly speaking Spanish. When they wave me away and say in Spanish that they don't speak English, I smile and say "preguntame si necesitas ayuda" ("ask if u need help" my bilingual coworker taught me it and says my pronunciation is bad but that i can be understood still). And when I'm on register and hand them their bags at the end, I say "gracias, que tenga un buen dia". ("Thank you, have a nice day")

My manager isn't happy with that. She wants me to continue listing promos in English to customers who have already made it clear they DONT SPEAK ENGLISH. And then to continue pestering them every less-than-5-minutes in English while they're trying to shop.

Like? Am I the dumb one here? I feel like if I went to a store and there was a language barrier, someone spouting a ton of information in a language I don't speak would be...unhelpful??? Annoying?? Weird??

Isso não é um adeus....

Boa tarde, seus remelentos! Hoje estamos vindo aqui com um agradecimento. Há 4 meses, dia 17/12/2023 o Silence abria as interações. A pesquisa do rp foi feita por puro impulso da nostalgia de ter um RPG de Percy Jackson enquanto eu acompanhava a série; eu nunca tive coragem de meter a cara na TAG e trazer um rpg sozinho então quase desisti antes mesmo do SHQ nascer, mas Hestia esteve aqui desde o princípio e acreditou nesse projeto mais do que eu mesmo. Enquanto eu tinha (e tenho) minha enormes inseguranças, meus enormes receios e surtos, Hestia entrava para me manter ancorado no chão, me trazendo pra realidade e sempre dizendo "vai dar certo, confia!" E realmente tem dado.

Quione entrou depois apesar da ordem dos apelidos na promo terem sido diferentes, ela surgiu para nos ajudar e nos dar um ânimo. Quando tudo parecia complicado e quando já estávamos em surtos por causa do pouco tempo disponível que tinha, ela surgiu com o "Vocês estão precisando de ajuda?" e foi no momento certo. Somos três peças que se encaixam mas que só funcionam por causa de um objetivo em comum: Dar a vocês, players, um espaço para desenvolver seus personagens, alimentar a criatividade de vocês e recompensar os esforços que vocês colocam na dash todos os dias.

Sem vocês, isso aqui não seria nada, de verdade. Todas as vezes que algo não sai como o esperado, eu paro e penso "o Silence não é apenas meu ou de Hestia e Quione, é dos players" e a gente segue em frente. 4 meses com vocês sendo nossa prioridade nos trouxe a um ponto de desenvolvimento muito bom, com players fiéis e personagens incríveis! Vocês desenvolvem tão bem cada plot que a gente lança na cabeça dos personagens de vocês. Uma morte por um cão infernal? Vocês tiram de letra! Missões com vários monstros? Fichinha! Uma fenda gigantesca que assombra metade dos campistas com vozes esquisitas? Vocês toparam e fizeram com classe!

Nós só temos a agradecer a vocês por tudo, por todo incentivo e paciência, por toda compreensão e gentileza com que nos tratam. Esperamos ter muitos meses ainda pela frente porque temos muitos planos... de madrugada Hestia falou sobre o Halloween e eu fiquei "CALMA!!!!!" mas eu sei que com vocês no barco, talvez o Halloween seja mesmo um sonho possível. ENFIM!!!! Aos semideuses remelentos que estão com a gente desde o princípio, ou há dois, três, um mês, uma semana, um dia.... muito obrigado por acreditarem no Silence, vamos avante!!

..... é apenas um obrigado e PARABÉNS!!! Hoje é nosso aniversário!!!!

ps. é a primeira vez que a gente consegue postar um agradecimento bonitinho na data certa porque somos três lerdos para datas. Agora o próximo só no aniversário de oito meses pra manter a tradição hein.
