zoom in for details I put effort into this for once

more variants because I like it a lot and I can’t settle for just…one way..also some details abt her and the outfit

Before I continue, please try to not put as many “cuddly” or “I bet she gives great hugs!” comments…They are nice..however they tend to get fairly annoying when it’s only on fat Hershel posts that aren’t intentionally cute or cuddly

If it wasn’t clear enough, this is Hershel with my hcs for her. Using She/Her for Hershel because I enjoy viewing Hershel as a woman. brings joy and happiness.

I put tons of exclamation points into her design because I felt like it would fit, if u can’t tell where they are… In the tie, Hair tuff, and Top Hat.

Another little detail is in Her ears, they’re Capital Rs in reference to Randall’s initial

(I like to do it a lot in ship posts where I put the Partner’s first letter of their name in the other Partner’s ears vice versa) though I didn’t draw a Randall for this bc I got lazy lol.. She is however talking to Randall in this with the text “Darling.”.

I wanted to keep her design simple and closer to how regular Hershel looks so it’s not too busy so I can draw/doodle her a lot more so that’s why she doesn’t have tons and tons of details

• Her Corset is made for Comfort, or Just her overall Health. If she takes it off, which she can, it’ll cause great discomfort and/or death because it holds her Organs in place.

-During the blast, her abdominal or major torso area was struck, leaving her body in pain and needing the corset to keep her vital organs in place.

• She is a trans woman and went on HRT pre-blast. And also, Bisexual!

•She met Hershel in college from Dahlia, Who was a very good friend to Hershel. Ultimately, after a year of dating, things didn’t work out between the two of them. Hershel couldn’t get over her own problems and wanted to just be friends again. This devastated Claire as she was still very much in love with Hershel , so after the blast, she created Hersh-bot to cope.

Going in the development wips of Randall 👇🏽

👆🏽one of the first ideas for Her, I like the idea of Her scruff poking out of the mask a bit,,,I think it’s a nice touch

👆🏽this was coming up with an idea for Her hair tuff. I want each person in the Ranlay family to have some sort of hair tuff that correlates to their symbol (symbols don’t mean anything currently since i’m not done designing everyone!! (ㆀ˘･з･˘)

Here’s a list for everyone’s planned symbol;

Hershel; Exclamation Point “!”

Randall; Question Mark “?”

👆🏽As you can see I scrapped the idea of the mask since I wanted to make my own version (not…yet done…sadly…) This is closer to what we have as the finished product hehe. The only thing that bothered me about this was the tie and the chest placement,, it irked me a lil bit but that’s alright we can fix it!! 👇🏽

👆🏽with a couple of doodles on the side hehe, we got the finished sketch of Randall done!! Looking at this you’re probably wondering “What do you mean ‘give cicada wings in reference’?” well-

What I plan for Randall is to be cicada themed, instead of angelic like masked gentleman. Cicadas have been known to represent resurrection and rebirth so I think it fits with Randall’s story a lot!

DY clive (hesitant on posting this bc I don’t really like it hahaaaa) (below going into details!! such as body, how the arm works, and a bit more info!!) am so tired

Facts in the post and general;

•Dy clive is unlabeled and goes by any pronouns. They’re willing to be with realistically anyone, but doesn’t like the idea of having to call himself something.

•Their top surgery scars are meant to look like cogs to fit the whole steam punk theme Claire (and soon to be made, Hersh 2.0) have

•Hat has cog on it, I really didn’t feel like taking another screenshot of the second ref HAHAAAA

•Mildly expressive, WILL look at you with the most annoyed expression if you say something stupid

experimenting with how I want to draw em with this silly comic

•If it wasn’t obvious, Clive is disabled in this au. His arm was disintegrated running from the blast radius, leaving his shoulder behind. Since Claire took him in, she created their arm. The spot parts on the brown covering connects the arm part to the nerves so clive can use it.

•She isn’t very fond of Claire’s decision of making Hersh 2.0. She often tries to encourage Claire to get out of the clock shop and meet real people and leave behind what she had with Hershel. Obviously, her efforts lead to nothing.

•The Monocle has a bullseye pattern in the middle of the gem, this is TOTALLY NOT ALLUDING TO ANYTHING /sarcasm

Part 3 of DIABOLICAL YURI POSTING!!

Again, just a lore summary/tldr of stuff that happens while introducing characters haha

In chapter 4/5 (don’t know yet haha), Emmy comes up with a plan to find out who the masked gentleman is! D.Y Emmy!!

She sets up a date for Hershel with the Masked Gentleman, thinking I’d be a good plan to find out who’s under the mask. Hershel tries her best to refuse this idea since she doesn’t like men that much but figured she’d give it a try. Emmy and Flora are on the balcony area looking down at the table where Hershel and The Masked Gentleman is sitting.

The Masked Gentleman Eventually reveals themselves to be a woman and the long lost lover of Hershel, Randall ascot. After some crying and hugging, Randall holds onto Hershel as she flys them up and into one of the hotel suites. Leaving Emmy to take care of Flora for the rest of the day. Emmy tries to tell the information to the police but they don’t believe her since she has no visible proof with her other than Herself and Flora. After this attempt fails, Emmy decides to take Flora to one of the local casinos. Knowing Hershel would get mad at her, she does this anyways to be “cool aunty Emmy” (Flora’s words, not Emmy’s).

This is how I think it went when taking the ranlay route HAHA!

Speaking of Flora though, HERE SHE IS!

In this au, Flora is Hershel’s adopted daughter! After the loss of Lady Dahlia and Baron Augustus, she felt obligated to take her under her roof. She’s 10 years old and hasn’t been enrolled in school for a while. After the events of Her game and Randall’s game, Hershel decides to enroll her in school!

Some Info Regarding Dahlia and Augustus;

Hershel knew Dahlia in her college days, they dated for a bit but split paths when Dahlia met Augustus and Hershel met Claire. Though they continued to be friends and kept in touch after college. Hershel would write funny little puzzles in letters she’d send to the Reinhold household. She got a final letter from Dahlia, talking about a trip she and Augustus were taking out to sea to look at rare stones in shrines and temples. After this letter she hadn’t heard from Dahlia or Augustus in a while till Emmy showed up and talked to Hershel about visiting them.

Dahlia and Augustus discovered the rare stones and wanted to bring them back to their home. Unfortunately, Targent came and ransacked and destroyed the boat they were on.

After arriving to the Reinhold household, Emmy is extremely surprised to see what looked like Dahlia and Augustus, Since she was the one who took out their ship.

Emmy info- She works for Descole, Targent, and Hershel! When she gets information from Hershel, she’ll tell that to either Descole or Leon. If she gets information from Descole, she’ll tell Leon. She doesn’t pass information to Hershel to not break the bond that she has with her and Flora. After Randall’s game, Emmy would do anything for Flora and to see her happy. She never really liked kids, having none of her own, but Flora changed that. She is very proud to be an aunt in Flora’s eyes.
