My computer ran out of power while I was writing my essay/analysis about Eric Burdon and Alan Price's relationship. Real Sobbing Hours. 😔

#it's 9700 words long so far and i'm just now talking about their attempts at songwriting together 😐 #it's a l o t and there's a lot of quoted stuff..... i'm really happy with it so far and i hope to finish it in the next week or two #these two deserve to have an Affectionate look at their relationship instead of the vitriolic scrutiny so many others seem to give #funnily enough it's the post-animals stuff that i'm super excited to write about..... but the animals-stuff is still soft #all of those magazines i own and the scans i found..... it's all led to this moment #not eric describing alan's playing on 'i'm crying' as 'hot and nasty gospel' #this has been the perfect distraction for me 😔🙏 #animusings
