what do u do when u get great reviews and recs for ur rp but people just sit on the page & don't apply ?????????

uhhh cry ?? im jk ,, but truly ik the feel ( rip in pepe trifectahq xox ) .. first of all, is it appless or not ? bc if not, then i wouldn’t be too worried if you’ve only been in the tags for a few days ! sometimes it takes a little while for the first couple of apps to come in, even if your app form is short, probs bc no one wants to be the first to apply and wait out acceptances for a while. if it’s appless then ig that’s a bit more of a worry, but if your plot is Intense™ / there’s a lot of information up on your main, then ppl might just be taking the time to read over it all before sending in an app ? or maybe, again, they just don’t wanna be the first to apply ?? either way,, imma stand by my advice of going hard w/ promo for at least a fortnight before calling it a day bc it shows that you as an admin are trying to [ tim gunn vc ] Make it Work ! get them shoutouts / promos sent out,, mayhaps send them to some rph / rpt blogs that aren’t from your own particular segment of the rpc ?? set a goal for the # of apps u want before opening and use that to incentivise ppl 2 apply ! but yeah, give it a lil bit of time then reevaluate where you’re at / ppls interests are at – esp. considering it’s the beginning of the school yr and a lot of ppl might rlly wanna apply, but can’t bc they’re busy af atm. i truly hope things pick up for ur group tho bc i’ve been there n it’s No Fun !!!
