Apologies for bugging you again, but I have some thoughts on Parallels! Meteorz' Another Dimension vid kinda got me thinking, and I think I've developed a proper head-canon. Hopefully I'll give you some inspo!

Parallel versions of characters are based on their negative thoughts (I believe that was sort of implied in Star Allies? It's not totally canon though). So, if we're following this theory (which, again, was implied in Star Allies), the reason the main gang of Star Allies bosses has parallel versions is because their Jamba Hearts carried their insecurities to Another Dimension (I believe that was also confirmed in Star Allies). My personal theory is that, while Susie, Landia, and Nightmare haven't been near the Jamba heart, they have a Parallel form because they've been in Another Dimension themselves, and thus, left some of their negative emotions there... though I imagine Nightmare did it purposefully (that's a head-canon).

My head-canon for President ParaSusie is that she is based on Susie's fears that she'll become as corrupt as her father, but regular ParaSusie is simply a reflection of her personal insecurities rather than her grander ones, if that makes sense? Eventually, normal ParaSusie finds refuge with Magolor in the Kirby Clash-verse after her boss fight (explaining why we see her sitting above his Shoppe), and with time, moves to the Mirror World.

this is all very interesting and aligns with my assumption/vague idea of what was going on, by which i mean parallel versions are just kind of Created from the presence of the original in AD through some mechanism or another. works for me!

that also makes sense for president para susie yeah, im probably just gonna stick to what i have going on with her though because i think 3 susies is enough for me lmao

dark taranza and parallel susie for the duos meme!

Oh jeez, it's been a while! Forgive me for being a bit rusty on Kirby, but the last time I checked 'Parallel' counterparts are moreso reflections of characters from Another Dimension (possibly reflecting same person living different fate!), but 'Dark' counterparts are moreso gathered dark, repressed sides of the characters?

I see Parallel Susie in conditions where Dark Taranza summoned her having a bit of Wheatley syndrome in her 'President' form - becoming corrupted and power-hungry under influence of her own wish machine thing but snapping out and becoming a neutral at least after kicked out from its influence! But I imagine that he used to run to her for help very often (because even 'dark' counterpart of Taranza deep down is bound to relay on strong and beautiful woman :pensive: ) and would now resent that as she is back to normal, she no longer has his back xD Just the constant 'Aren't you tired of being nice, don't you want to go apeshit (again)?' vs 'Go find another skirt to hide under' banter dahsfhdsdf So yes, comedic potential!

Tbh all interactions I am seeing with Parallel Susie are non-romantic for me, I see her as very self-suffient (or just plain aroace)! But yes I think the two have potential! The guy born from Taranza's secret resent towards Sectonia trading what they had for what evil mirror was giving and questioning whether he should betray her and take her power, and the girl that resulted from Susie falling into scary, weird realm because her father could not help himself from touching an evil device! They're products of their 'real' counterparts being screwed up thanks to someone dear for them messing with powers better not touched - could've "thanked" Sectonia/Max respectively, could've became worst nightmares of Taranza/Susie respectively!

Nightmare theory’s

1-nightmare was for some reason inside the dream fountain,so what if he was trapped in it for years absorbing its energy,possibly galacta knight and the other heroes destroyed nightmare body long time ago and stayed in the nearest dream fountain so he could regain he’s old power again (until he got killed again)

2-parallel nightmare is actually nightmare reborn and not a clone,Star Allie’s makes clear the parallels are monsters born of the hatred,fear and misery of those who have this emotions and face the “another dimension” but nightmare is… a nightmare which are made of hatred,fear and misery and considering he’s the only parallel with a reference to the originals life is… weird since Parallel susie reference is her getting absorbed by another dimension like Susie was when she was a little girl,parallel Landia is basically Landia fear of being posses by The master crown,parallel president Susie is possibly a fear of ending like her father,parallel wispy and kracko is basically being piss off by constantly being a punching bag for almost 30 years,parallel meta is basically he’s fear of loneliness and Dedede insecurity’s. But nightmare reference is the crescent moon of he’s chain,he’s referencing he’s death and considering he faced 4 Kirby’s 5 times and had the guts to summon galacta knight… I don’t think he fears death. Possibly nightmare was born in another dimension but after being destroyed over and over again he’s remanent’s possibly went back home and made a new form referencing he’s fate and he’s burning hatred for Kirby after destroying he’s form after being in preparation for around thousands of years

3-possibly nightmare is inmortal,if we take the previous theory and certain quote of the Kirby anime, and yes I know the anime isn’t canon but since nightmare has the same voice actor in super Kirby clash and the anime (I think but may be a rumor but I’m too lazy to check) then I’ll act has it is (fun fact nightmare voice actor also voices Thanos) the quote is “True to my name, I am but a dream that lives in your heart. Therefore, I am immortal. For as long as there is fear in your heart, I will someday return.” Maybe nightmare is inmortal but needs a unhealthy amount of time and energy to have a body once again, and thanks to Hyness stupidity in heroes in another dimension filling it with Jamba heart and void termina power which helped nightmare to get he’s body back and considering Kirby clash is in a different universe possibly nightmare tried take over another pop star before dealing with he’s Kirby but after getting beaten by 4 Kirby’s over and over again he kinda went insane for losing to a bunch of stupid adventurers and literally round heroes over and over again and then died because of it

another random ask, what do you think of parallel landia and parallel susie?

I mean it's pretty neutral for most of these parallel characters. We only see a blip of them and then they're gone. Not much to them beyond being part of Another Dimension and having their own stuff going on.

Parallel Landia exists.

Parallel Susie is a bit more interesting because someone pointed out this is what Susie could become if she doesn't confront her emotions regarding her father and her issues, as she eventually becomes the president but isn't okay from her strange dehumanizing/not acknowledging stuff. I suppose in this instance it's looking into a new aspect of the character without showing the actual character, like a what-if, but that's kind of the extent on my feelings there.

#Sorry if this is a boring answer but yeah they're primarily just bosses in Clash #I beat them both in my file and Aeon Hero Dark too so yeah xD
