Psalm 73:25-26

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but GOD is the strength of my hearts and my portion forever.

Our Prayer

Dear GOD and our Father, if only we have you, we desire nothing more in heaven or on earth. Body and soul may fail, but you, O God, are the strength and comfort of our hearts and you are our forever. May we live in your Spirit and may your light shine over us. Touch our hearts and help us understand the greatness of what you call us to. Help us and free us again and again so that we are not bound by fear, even when we must pass through intense suffering . For your hand shall be with us and shall rescue us. Your hands shall bring about good for us and for all the people around us. Our hearts go out to them and we plead for them too, “Lord, send your Savior to all.” In JESUS name this we PRAY. You know I try my hardest not to speak on police brutality, because to me it hurts every time I see no justice for our Black Lives. And yet the cops get to sit back on paid leave while we all wait for them to not be convicted for once again killing us unjustly. I get so angry and I tell myself be quiet there’s nothing that can be done. But I’m tired of being silent and praying in silence not to make a fuss. But today I choose to bow my head and pray no longer in silence. So if you are reading this pray with me. God I’m come to you with all the hate that still roams the earth to give me the strength and soften my heart for I want to hate those who choose to still brutally kill us, but I know that’s not what you want from me. So heal our hearts lord to be strong for the losses we had to endure. And help lead us to peacefully find a resolution as I want this to stop. For so many families had to mourn a loss too soon due to the brutal death and yet not all get to see justice prevail. God I also pray for the men who are at fault for these crimes as maybe they need help understanding where they went wrong. And I ask that you soften their hearts to not make the same mistakes and learn from them. Let them feel the pain of their wrong doing to make better choices in the future and I pray they teach their peers to do better. Let them lead their peers to be better than them and understand what they did was wrong. I pray that you make them selfless to their actions and make a difference for their young ones to not be like them. Our lives matter and I want the world even professional authorities (police officers) to understand its time they respect that too.
