Every time I scroll through the Salaar tag, I start to wonder if Prashanth, Prabhas, and Prithvi know about the existence of this app.

Like I don’t know if they’ll ever realize the true impact of this little movie they created because we are wildin over here, thoroughly fixated on all these bitches.

Home

Deva and Varadha climbed onto the hilltop overlooking Pathran. The one they spent their time on when they were kids. They finally found some time for themselves amidst the chaos they unleashed. Both of them sat side by side, close to eachother looking over Pathran, now half destroyed due to the war.

"Sorry ra" it was not Deva who said it this time, it was Varadha. He looked at deva with guilt evident in his eyes and countinued "I dragged you away from your home and threw you in this mess. You'd have atleast been safe back home."

A bitter chuckle left deva's mouth.

"Home you say....rei, the feeling of home and the sense of safety left the day my father died. It left when I saw amma completely broke and helpless when those men broke into our house and i couldn't protect her. Home is a place where there is love, where you feel safe and i never had a home."said deva looking at a distance.

Varadha got lost in deva, this the most deva has ever spoken since his arrival.

"I never felt safe anywhere ra...Not in khansaar or bhaaruch. I don't even feel safe when I'm alone,all by myself. My thoughts and memories kill me from inside. But that day when you came looking for me, that is when i felt like i was back home. In your arms i felt safe and i did not want to let go of that feeling" he said looking at varadha.

"I will never call khansaar my home even though i grew up here for the first 10yrs. Love and safety is what makes a home. I know amma cares about me, worry about me but love? I don't know...." deva leaned into varadha and countinued "....But now, to me , home is a person and that is you. I found safety in you. In you i found love that is beyond bodily needs. YOU are my home ra varadha even amidst the chaos" with that deva went silent with a lone tear travelling down his cheek.

Varadha did not know what to say. He never saw deva like this.....vulnerable. The deva he saw till now was different but the deva he saw now was his deva. The deva that belonged to him.

Varadha held deva close to his heart. Without uttering any words he conveyed to deva that he loves him and will forever be his home and deva understood it.

After 25 yrs both of them finally felt complete. It was not just two 35yr olds hugging eachother. It was those two 10yr olds that were separated from each other and were forced to grow up.

Salaar is the most average shit I have seen in a while.

Same old KGF style sets, slow-mo shots, god like hero hitting 50 men together and all flying in the air at the same time.

It’s all about 4 action scenes (which are quite average), the rest leads up to it in the most lethargic way. Zero story.

Only emotion is either stone-like (Prabhas) or over the top loud (mother, villains, kids) or outright dumb (Shruti).

Shruti gets attacked twice but she still goes to the market alone a third time. Such brilliant writing.

Never wanted to think of Prabhas as a bad actor but dear lord, every single thing since Bahubali has been atrocious.

Don’t even wanna say anything about Prashant Neel - he is one formula director and people are starting to get bored of it, as shown by Salaar’s underperformance in all languages except Telugu. Comparing him to Rajamouli is blasphemy.

I am dumbfounded to see some RRR fans liking and tripping over Salaar. After seeing the beautifully intricate and believable Dosti of RamBheem, how in the world did you feel anything for DevaVardha? No emotion there connected, nothing was believable.

The BGM is too loud. All songs suck, not a single one worth remembering.

Genuinely curious to know what is it you guys found tolerable (can’t even say liked) in this movie. Please pls do share.

#Blockbuster Is Loading: Next Glimpse From #Prabhas Starrer Much Awaited Film #Salaar To Be Out On #15thAugust! From the makers of the blockbuster hit K.G.F., here comes another one, Salaar starring Prabhas. The filmmakers tweeted about it on its official Twitter page that the next glimpse from the film will be announced on 15th August at 12:58 PM IST, till then stay tuned! Salaar is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by #PrashanthNeel, and produced by #VijayKiragandur under #HombaleFilms. It stars Prabhas as the titular character alongside #ShrutiHaasan and #JagapathiBabu. The film was initially announced in December 2020. Salaar was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 April 2022 but was delayed due to production delays owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is now planned to release in the second quarter of 2023. Salaar is planned to originally release in Telugu in addition to dubbed versions in various Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.  Salaar reportedly employed Dark Centric Theme (DCT) technology to shoot the film, making it the first Indian film to do so. As a result the film’s lighting pattern and color palette would be darker in color. Approx. 30% of the shooting of the film was completed by March 2022 but it was halted due to the release of Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam and Neel’s K.G.F: Chapter 2, and was planned to be resumed in May. However, Prabhas underwent a knee surgery in March during his vacation in Spain, which further delayed the shoot. In June 2022, a new schedule began at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City with Prabhasand Haasan joining the sets.  The team also shot a 20-minute long action sequence in the middle of the sea, spending arond ₹10 croreson the particular scene. https://www.instagram.com/p/ChMyotGJJiS/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Have y'all noticed this scene where when varadha goes to narang to request him to stop vishnu from troubling him and narang it will only happen when varadha's head is at narang's feet and in the nect scene which is the beheading scene you see the head of narang rolls and correctly sits at varadha's feet.
