#litany-writes-poetry #poetry #this is actually one my favorite things i've ever written #it really characterizes like. just being a teenager idk #if you've been lucky enough to have lived a relatively normal life before hitting your teens then the bad things that happen to you #while in retrospect were not so terrible #are at the moment some of the worst things you've ever experienced #and being a teenager is just like. that. over and over again until you get used to it and then you're an Adult #and you have Perspective and Experience #ppl are all like “ohhhh teenagers are so moody and depressed and whiny” and like yes that's true but consider: #the only reason you're any better is bc you've been there! #your first breakup the first death in your family the first fight you have with your best friend whatever it is! #that's the worst thing that's ever happened to you. and you don't know what youre supposed to do #but you have school tomorrow. so you find ways to cope and then next time it's not as much end of the world as it is just normal bad #and so on etc #didn't mean to ramble that much but i suppose i had things to say
