Hercule Poirot + the finger
"Ah!" Poirot shook his forefinger so fiercely at me that I quailed before it. "Beware! Peril to the detective who says: 'It is so small--it does not matter. It will not agree. I will forget it!' That way lies confusion! Everything matters." - Agatha Christie, The Mysterious Affair at Styles

Denouement scenes in Agatha Christie’s Poirot (1989 - 2013)
Poirot gathers all the suspects, witnesses and other people involved in the case to present them with the solution to the mystery. The chain of events, various clues and red herrings, secrets, motives and methods are explained in a lengthy, complex speech. After a dramatic build-up, Poirot reveals the killer’s identity.
"He knows who it is. He puts everyone through hell. He makes everyone feel guilty. The whole of the last act is Poirot summing up. It's my piece of theater, as well as Poirot's piece of theater." - David Suchet

Poirot & obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Although Agatha Christie never called it by name, I think you could make a strong case for Poirot having a type of OCD. He shows signs of compulsion like arranging and repeated cleaning of items, as well as obsession with symmetry and exactness.

"David [Suchet] believes Poirot's moustache is a crucial key to understanding the man. 'In the books the moustache is variously described as being stiff and military, or alternatively small, tight and very finely curled. But what is more important is what Poirot himself says about it. He says it has to be a thing of beauty and must suit his face because he is a very vain man. 'I had to find the look to find the man. The moment I put the moustache on I took on his personality. Then, and only then, did I really feel I had become Poirot. But the more I have become Poirot, the more I have enjoyed him,' he says." - Peter Haining, Agatha Christie: Murder in Four Acts

"If you could order a crime as one orders a dinner, what would you choose?"
"A very simple crime. A crime with no complications. A crime of quiet domestic life... very unimpassioned — very intime... Supposing, that four people sit down to play bridge and one, the odd man out, sits in a chair by the fire. At the end of the evening the man by the fire is found dead. One of the four, while he is dummy, has gone over and killed him, and intent on the play of the hand, the other three have not noticed. Ah, there would be a crime for you! Which of the four was it?" - Agatha Christie, The ABC Murders

"One thing I knew was that Dame Agatha always made sure that all the clues were there for everyone to see - if only they looked for them. If you did grasp them all, then you would know who did it; if not, you would have to wait for Poirot to tell you. It was one of her greatest qualities as a writer - she was always honest with her readers - and I wanted to be equally honest with her viewers. They had to feel that they might have reached the same conclusion as Poirot if they had put all the clues together; although they knew, in their hearts, that although they might have noticed one or two, Poirot saw them all - which was why he was a great detective." - David Suchet, Poirot and Me
