Ok so. Uh. I am starting to have a sneaking suspicion that my entire assumption behind Wagstaff's age might come with an asterisks

#rat rambles #starve posting #this is abt the young wagstaff we see in the last skill tree animation #unless Im mistaken hes shown at a real event that happened in brussels (shout out to my belgian friends for instantly pointing it out) #which happened in 1910 #....aka only 11 years before wilson entered the constant #now we have 3 states we see wagstaff in #his young self at brussels #a much more modern looking wagstaff but less old looking #and modern day crusty dusty wagstaff #which means one of 3 things #A he simply aged poorly in those 11 years #B time travel bullshit #or C the first we see of modern wagstaff is much farther in the future than the rest of the cast was when they got constant'd #and C is most realistic but also kind of my least favorite option cause it kind of fucks over a lot of my wx-78 hcs #but its also probably the reality of the situation cause I doubt theyre going hard into time travel #and a is possible but boring and also comes with the same issues as c #and the thing is. they don't show wagstaff's face in the next of kin animation. this might have been an intentional thing to hide smth. #plssss klei be nicieys to be I just want crusty dusty old wx in my life pleaseeeeeee #like nothing is stopping me from making them like 50 anyways but I would rather have the two of them be around the same age #alas nothing I can do but wait and hope for the best fkfndkdnd
