It’s not often Sonia eats with the rest of them. More often than not, she skips her meals entirely until someone checks in on her and when she does it, it’s alone in her cottage or in the chamber with their fallen classmates. But she’s...making more of an effort   to be present. She’s said nothing so far, as the small group of them eat their dinner but as her glass is refilled, princess pauses to lift her glass.

“Drink with me to days gone by,” she requests, voice gentle. “To the life that used to be.”
