QUESTION 18. from what i can recall, i was working on my fanvideo things / editing banners for my fanfiction and, in my searching, i believe google images linked me into a gl.ee ship-tag — it may have been pezberry (iykyk 💀🤌🏾). this was back when the tagging system was actually workable, that somehow linked me into the gl.ee rp tag. my first one was kinda weird because it was a sm.ut rp in disguise and i was not expecting it at all, and i had some odd experiences with people fetishi.sing the masc characters i played ... but then i moved on to moderating and creating groups and i found it a lot more enjoyable. i also felt a lot more comfortable being able to control what people were going to try and persue in the rpc, i started creating au versions of gl.ee groups, that lead me into original characters, and now — an eon later — here i am?

LOOKING FOR A GLEE 1X1 PARTNER

hi tags! i’m violet (vi works too) and just like almost every other gay that i know, i spent quarantine rewatching glee. i’m looking for a partner whose interested in the following ships:

faberry (i could play either rachel or quinn)

quinntana (i could play either santana or quinn)

brittana (i could play santana)

pezberry (i could play santana or rachel)

i’m 21+ and i would prefer if my partner was as well (18+ at the very least because there will be mature themes) and i’m EST. i’ve been roleplaying for over 10 years now and glee was actually the first rp community i was ever apart of. i’m pretty old school when it comes to roleplaying as i’ve mostly threaded on tumblr/forums that probably don’t exist anymore but i’m open to moving to discord if my partner is more comfortable there!

right now i don’t have a specific plot in mind and whether i want it to have any canon elements, so that’s definitely up for discussion! if you’re interested, please feel free to shoot me an ask on here or IM. i look forward to hearing from you!

let’s start at the beginning.

who: rachel berry && santana lopez. what: a brief history / get us back into the verse since its been a million years and we restarted.  a/n: xoxo 

As a child, Rachel had wanted only one thing: a sibling, someone to call her own, someone who could be there to combat every terrible thing the world had ever thrown at her. Her fathers were much too busy with their own lives and careers to dedicate the time and attention Rachel craved, and while she wouldn't understand until much later how hard it was just to achieve her presence in their lives, the idea of bringing a second Berry child into the world was inconceivable.

For a long time, Rachel spent her days feeling isolated, alone. Sure, there were dance classes and local theater and school to contend with, but even there she was an outsider, and while her fathers doted on her hand and foot when they could, it wasn't enough.

Sometimes she wondered what would be enough.

And then Santana showed up.

Santana Lopez was snarky, even for a seven year old, and while Rachel was already excelling at her ballet studio, Santana came in and nearly swept her abilities away. Having trained with a top teacher who nearly made it into the Boston Ballet, Santana had skills that made Rachel envious, and immediately she latched on the only way she knew how.  “Show me how to do that.”  Santana was an only child herself, closer to her grandmother than her parents, but immediately the two began to work through classes together, their instructor leaving them be during warm ups as they pirouetted circles around the rest of their class. (Years later, at a basement party of Noah Puckermans, Kurt Hummel would drunkenly admit how jealous he was that they were the stars when he was the only boy, something Santana had snorted at while Rachel shrugged from her perch on her best friends lap.)  Their friendship wasn’t restricted to the ballet studio; finally, Rachel seemed to have found the sister she always wanted. The Lopez’s welcomed her into their home and she learned how to make traditional Hispanic dishes, picking up on a few Spanish words as they went into middle school while Santana tried to teach her the language on their own. At the Berry’s, Santana was immediately swept into elaborate dinner theaters, the eight nights of Hanukkah, and learned how to properly say Rachel’s name in Hebrew. Together, they were unstoppable, and when Santana suggested they try out for cheerleading at the beginning of sixth grade, Rachel agreed readily. Cheerleading came with popularity, with fame.  With stardom.  By the time eighth grade came around, they’d had to make a choice: ballet, or cheerleading. While ballet would help Rachel further her inevitably Broadway dreams, she hung her pointe shoes up in her closet, practicing only when she needed to relax and trading her tutus for tennis skirts, preparing to tackle the JV Cheerio ladder.  Their only real competition came in the form of another twosome; Quinn Fabray and Brittany Pierce. Brittany was an incredible performer, an even better dancer than Rachel and Santana combined, and Quinn had a sharp wit and a desperation to be the TBIC that made even Rachel wary. But Santana was the best, and she knew Rachel deserved to be the best alongside her; while Ms. Sylvester seemed to favor Quinn over everyone else, it was Rachel and Santana who stayed for extra practices, who helped those struggling with homework to ensure their team was all eligible to even partake in cheer, who knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it wasn’t just about them, but the rest of the squad.  When they were made co-captains of the varsity squad, the indignation on Quinn Fabray’s face was worth the hours and hours of work.  Junior year had seemed to almost sneak up on them; the summer had changed from lazy days by the pool to long practices in the gym almost immediately, college pamphlets being shoved in their lockers by their guidance counselor Ms. Pillsbury by the second day of school, and Rachel’s only other commitment besides cheer - the glee club - was already struggling to get by. After a spectacular fail the previous year, half the team had deflected, but Rachel was nothing if not a leader -  This year, she was going to have everything. She was going to have the Cheerios, she was going to have her glee club, and she was going to get herself a man. A star player in the form of Finn Hudson, her co-lead for the glee club and a football player to boot, still mourning the loss of his breakup with Quinn Fabray the year before.  All she had ever needed was Santana’s help, and with pinkies interwoven as they stepped through the choir room door, she knew that she’d have it again. After all, they were soul sisters to the core - whatever Rachel wanted, Santana would make sure she had. Nothing would stand in their way, and Rachel could taste the success already.
