Picture done a while back for Mayday of her truly spectacular ‘steal your gf energy’ god of the skies, Pawana! Actually drawing him looking like he could bench press a truck is gonna take a bit more work but a headshot seemed like a nice place to start.

Family Business, Ch.3
Summary: How Prapai’s family meets, and comes to adore, Sky near the beginning of their relationship.
Pawana has been waiting a long time for at least one of her children to meet someone they want to bring home. It’s never happened, but she refuses to give up hope. Now, at least, she finally has a shot at it. Her eldest, Prapai, actually has a boyfriend. At last. He’s been running around for such a long time, she’d nearly given up and focused on her two younger children. It surprises her that Pai is the one to find a relationship first, but she couldn’t be happier. Especially because Sky is handsome, kind, smart, and polite.
Of course, there is, as always, a caveat. She hasn’t actually met Sky. Everything she knows about him she’s had to shake out of Prapai, or one of his siblings. She’s brought up the idea of meeting him what feels like a hundred times at this point, and yet, nothing. It’s frustrating, to say the least. As Prapai seems to be allergic to the idea of a family dinner, she’s taken to calling Plerng and Phan, insisting that they try and arrange something. They both adore Sky, another sign that he’s a fine young man, perfect for her son. It’s really quite sweet, how all three of her children dote on him so much. Or it would be, if she could only meet him.
Good fortune comes to her after a too-long wait, in the form of a text from her son. Not Prapai, of course, that would be too much to hope for. Plerng texts her, asking if she wants to have family dinner that night at their favorite restaurant…with Sky. She texts back in the affirmative immediately, telling him to find out if Sky had any food allergies or dietary restrictions. He replies in the negative, and she calls to book a table at once. She makes the reservation for five out of habit, before remembering to bump it up to six now that Sky’s joining them. A second later, it hits her that Pakorn is out of town on business, and she adjusts it back to five. She apologizes effusively to the woman on the phone, excitement clear in her tone.
“Special occasion?”
“It certainly is,” she replies, beaming. She texts the family group chat, making it clear that all three of her children are expected to be there, and on their best behavior. She sends a separate text to Prapai, letting him know that Sky is absolutely expected as well. She can’t wait.
A few hours later, she’s done getting ready, nervously smoothing her hair into place. Generally, it’s the boyfriend who would be nervous to meet the parents, but, well…Prapai’s never brought anyone home. She arrives at the restaurant early and they seat her quickly, well aware of who their family is. There’s a fluttering in her stomach, and she takes a few deep breaths to calm herself.
Phan arrives first, and she wraps her daughter in a tight hug, demanding to know all about her day. She laughs and starts a story, only pausing when Plerng arrives, both of them hugging him in greeting. Phan finishes her story, and Pawana is torn between the urge to laugh and the urge to remind her that schoolwork should not be left until the last minute.
Finally, Prapai arrives, with Sky in tow. Even if she hadn’t been aware of who he was bringing, it would be obvious with the way her other two children jump up to greet him, hugging him and calling his name. She lets them get their energy out, standing up as Sky and Prapai approach.
“Sawasdee khrap,” Sky says, hands together in a wai.
“So polite!” she praises, smiling widely. “Call me mom,” she insists, drawing Sky into a hug. Finally.
“Yes, mom,” he smiles back nervously when she lets him go. “This is for you,” he takes a gold-wrapped package from Prapai and offers it to her, still looking shy.
“How sweet!” She’s completely endeared. “I see why my children all adore you so much,” she adds, a playful twinkle in her eye. He blushes at that, which gives her a rush of fondness.
“That’s very kind of you to say,” he answers diplomatically. So. Polite? Check. Kind? Check. Handsome? Absolutely check, she thinks, resisting the urge to ruffle his hair. Smart? She couldn’t imagine otherwise, but takes the opportunity to find out.
“My son tells me you’re in school for architecture,” she sits down as she speaks, gesturing for everyone to do the same. “Why architecture?”
“Well, I love math,” he answers seriously. “But I guess I always loved the idea of getting to create things, to help build the world.” Pawana beams at him, pleased with his answer. Her children are obviously endeared by it as well, based on the chorus of praise it elicits. Prapai puts a proprietary arm around Sky, giving his younger siblings a look as he does so.
She sighs, utterly content. Prapai has not only met someone, but that someone seems to be everything she could have asked for, and fits into the family perfectly. Yes, she thinks, she’s glad to have another son, even if the first two were…well, a handful.

detik ganjil yang merenjis hari
membikin hari semakin rela dilalui
dalam hening diketemu jauhari
gusar bertukar menjadi rona pelangi
azali kenikmatan yang mencurah rohani
kala jiwa disarung emas berseri-seri
bak sekuntum ke diri diberi
berkongsi tajuk sehidup semati
tiada suasana mampu menyamai
detik ganjil yang merenjis hari
manis diganti tawar bertukar sengsara
kian berkali pula dilanda petaka
hai dewata yang menentu saksama
benamlah daku dalam seribu suka
masih dikenang masa duka
segar dalam atma bak dilibas pawana
tiada masa bagi dirinya lupa
ajaran tiada sedia tiada diterima cara
kasihan sungguh si petani
sepetak dibakar, seminggu lagi dirosak padi
tiada padan dipadah sekali
tiada sempat ditindak dikena lagi
dikarung bersama sekuntum bunga
jemari membelek kala seri tiada
bunga dipetik bukan bunga biasa
gagah bernyawa dicabut dari pohonnya
bunga zuriat sepohon lahirnya
sepohon pohon agung perinya
silsilah kayangan sepohon zuriatnya
tanah gersang dihujani debunga

Elegi Bizurai.
Tapi aku tau sendiri, kalau Bizurai berarti Raja Muda. Jika dirangkai, akan diartikan menjadi Syair Raja Muda. Bedanya, aku yang menyedihkan. Ternyata sesuai dengan namaku, ya? Aku sendiri seringkali tampak menyedihkan.
