If you say both “smash the patriarchy” and “the reason trans women transition is to harass cis women and the reason trans men transition is because they’re brainwashed” then you are a hypocrite.

Damn, it really is Mama's Baby Papa's Maybe...or not to Lestat
He did that shit for bussy. We all figured that out. He wanted a little housewife. And when said housewife wanted his baby back, he couldn't take it. He wants every part of Louis. His freedom, his mind, his love, his forever. I've watched some very patriartical relationships with a lot of the Asian BLs I watch, but beating him near death...nah. Imma still watch it because I already knew he wasn't going to be that housewife yall thought Lestat was. He was the husband. The abusive ass husband who will do anything to get his way. Damn...really want see how he get his ass out of this. Though he ain't. It's why Louis is still very sensitive after so many years when it comes to his baby Claudia.

Ghosts favorite shows and movies
Hetty: Period dramas and historical fiction, especially ones with slow-burn romance, forbidden love and sexual tension.
Pete: Sitcoms. scifi and fantasy stuff, 80s adventure stuff. Stranger Things. Has love-hate relationships with any shows about children and teens, especially if their parents have prominent as well, since it reminds him of his daughter, which is a bittersweet experience for him.
Alberta: Nashville,Boardwalk Empire, Peaky Blinders, anything with Jason Momoa, hardboiled detective stories. She needs action, corruption, grit, drama, tension, crime and abs.
Trevor: Fast and the Furious, Ocean 11, National tresure, James Bond, Indiana Jones, the Mummy and Field of Dreams. Can’t decide if he’d love Hustlers, since it’s about money and sexy strippers, or he’d hate the idea of scamming Wall Street guys. Heist, adventure and action movies with cool stunts, hot women and people living large. Not immune to cheesy sentimental movies.
Isaac: Anything with good music, glamour, positive energy, inspiring themes, glory, idealism, witty dialogue, drama and surprising twists and reveals.
Sass: The least pickiest. Reality shows, especially the ones centered around competiton and/or dating. The more drama, the better. Most shows with drama , twists and tension, both comedic and dramatic. As a story teller he also appriciates anything with a good structure and satisfying conclusion.
Thorfinn: I feel like the show Vikings would either bother him in all it’s inaccuracies, or he would enjoy all the stuff that was correct, violence and the women. Anything  with action, especially close combat. Dating centered reality shows with hot people.
Flower: when stoned she enjoys everything. When lucid she likes sports movies and romcoms (that aren’t too patriartical).

It's crazy watching tv shows that started in the early 2010s and kept going past 2016. Watching Bojack go from a goofy show about some douchebag washup celebrity horseguy to a show with pretty legit and seamless political insight on things like the Metoo movement and school shootings and stuff.
Shameless is doing it in season 9, too. I.C.E and immigrants getting randomly deported is a recurring theme (Veronica and Kevin adopt a little boy who they assume is just a foster kid but it turns out he got seperated from his family at the border, an episode ends with some ICE patrol guys forcing a bunch of latino kids to sing the national anthem in front of a US flag and some stupid patriartic banner) as is the politics of representation in congress (to which a guy who isn't really like Donald Trump in terms of personality but in terms of sexual crimes and the demographic that chooses to follow him definitely is), Fiona has hit her tipping point with the dudes in her life and it caps off with her almost getting mugged and god knows what else by some shady looking dudes until a male coworker comes in from out back carefully brandishing a knife. Debbie's feminism and concern for women's safety is a lot more pronounced this season, too. It's an interesting time capsule for sure.

Do you think that your cult trauma has predispositioned you to want to be owned and controlled?
How do you deal with that?
Honestly no. Like- okay, I did not have a religious patriarch at home. My dad did live with us but he was never religious. We grew up mormon and my mom smoked, occasionally drank, all my siblings left the church early so I grew up with them drinking & partying and lemme tell u, when your sister gets a DUI you become pretty unrelateable to uhhh...every single Mormon you go to church with except your best friend who's home is a mirror image of yours
The cult trauma is a lot of moral stratification & having to deconvert via social standards & their mind games. A lot of the overtones of especially patriartical control just don't communicate when there's no one to enforce that at home. A lot of lessons about the family i listened to like "sure sounds nice for everyone else" because my family is not only mostly not Mormon but they keep fucking breaking apart.
Honestly, I've always been really quiet and demure, like yeah i could be a loud kid but I would spend hours and hours playing by myself quietly, and I would never be the first to speak, ect. Sure there's autism, but I think I have a genuinely submissive personality underneath all that. I mean, I've recently, with my owner, hit both real subspace and real little space, without any extra prompting on his part. And after I come down I feel more relaxed than ever and incredibly content. I think it's just where I'm supposed to be tbh. I've tried other things and nothing's felt right

Aos 30 Day Challenge
Day 8: Favorite noncanon ship: quakerider and Agnes/Mace
Quakerider feels meant to be. The only reason nothing romantic or sexual came of Chloe and Gabriel's chemistry in s4 was it was too soon in Daisy's story, too early in her grief for Lincoln. They are perfect for eachother. No one could use one to compromise the other; they're both too strong and smart to be taken and held. They wouldn't have to worry about having children; I headcanon Daisy as not wanting kids for three reasons: (1) her lifestyle is too dangerous and she feels a responsibility to keep it, (2) living on base is no place to raise a kid, and (3) she knows what it is to grow up without parents and fears putting a child in the same situation. They're chemistry is insane. They're totally in sync in battle. They understand eachother in a way no one else can really get. Robbie is effectively Daisy's very own Fitz. I could even see Daisy and Robbie's relationship working long distance and being an open one. Hopefully, she will reopen her Secret Warriors project as s7 ends, and in a perfect world Robbie would be one of her first recruits.
Now to raise awareness for the rarepair of my heart. Agnes Kitsworth and Jeffrey Mace never met in s4, but sparks would fly if they had. They would make for a gorgeous couple on a superficial level. They could also bond over deserving better in s4. The idea came to me because Mace admitted to attraction to AIDA who was modeled after Agnes. She was clearly freaked out that Radcl would use her body as the model, her entire body at that; it must have felt like a total violation. That Radcliffe would points to infatuation more than love, while I do think he loved her it wasn't a healthy relationship and he didn't have the self-awareness in time to make it work. Mace would make for a healthy partner; someone who learned it's better to build a relationship on trust the hard way. Their ship name could be Patriart because he's the Patriot and she has an artist's soul.
I also thought it would be fun to put prompts up for adoption to make up for lack of agnes/mace content:
After exiting a Framework that went very differently, Mace and Agnes bond over having to navigate their second chance at life in their new LMD bodies. For context: Daisy and Simmons got through to Fitz who tricked convinced Aida she could get the soul she wanted. Coulson helped convince Agnes that uploading her soul into AIDA would save everyone. They also discover that Mace's body suffered too much damage to live without life support, so the only way to save him was with an LMD.
Meet cute in a world where she doesn't die of cancer. Could be in a coffee shop or in a hospital where they're both seeking treatment .
Star Wars universe AU: he pretends to be force sensitive and she catches him but helps him refine the art of mimicking the force.
Snow White AU featuring Madame Hydra as the evil queen
LoTR AU: She's Arwen and he's Aragorn, or maybe they're Sam and Rose
Princess Bride AU (Mallory is definitely a contender for most beautiful woman in the world
Gender-bent Man in the Iron Mask AU
Toy Story AU: She's Bo Peep. He's Woody
Royalty AU: She's a princess and he's her father's squire
Gender-bent Dirty Dancing AU
Frozen AU: He's Anna (too trusting, get it?). She's Kristoff
She's his tour guide on Australia
And I'll stop there. Please feel free to use any of these prompts as inspiration (for any ship on any series really). Please consider putting some Agnes/Mace content out there

#FreedomFriday
No THANKING GOD IT'S FRIDAY, when FREEDOM has never been a friend of the Black man. When REPARATIONS checks have gotten lost in the mail. When OPPRESSION is the whooping stick that keeps us in check. When LIBERATION is a figment of our imaginations. When King & Madela lives were apparently lived in vein.
We cannot thank God it's Friday as long as people are oblivious to the starkly different America where Black folks are oppressed and marginalized and DISENFRANCHISED and gentrified and vulnerable.....being relegated to the back of buses and classrooms. When affirmative action didn't make us whole, still 3/5ths human. When the after thought produces inferiority complexes when our superior nature has been choked to death.....I CAN'T BREATHE. You intentionally silence my voice, bow my head, have my hand out begging for th your scraps. When school to prison is nothing but a death sentence. When you disguise a war on drugs and you are the biggest drug supplier, hoping we stay unconsciously doped up.
No not today, no thanks for Friday. Colonization is over and yes I still want my 40 acres and the mule too. Stop short changing me, thinking I won't notice my short change won't stretch enough until next payday when you try to short change me again and again and the cycle continues, because we've mastered the rat race. We the conditioned, continue to rob Peter to pay Paul and you look at me like there's something wrong.....when you've shorted changed me from the gate. Bitch, run me my money.
We can thank God for other shit, but not that and not any given day where a BLACK man's life is less valuable than property. When a death sentence can be dished out for having a subjectively bad attitude, even when you've legitimately earned rights to said attitude.....have white folks really swallowed the pill that historically speaking this government is set up to keep Blacks from EQUITY.
There is no such beast as EQUALITY AND FREEDOM FOR ALL. There is no flag that represents BLACK pain in America, so a knee is condemned. GTFOH with that non-patriartic bullshit. On every battlefield BLACK LIVES have died first. On every battlefield BLACK LIVES have shown up to saved to day. Yet, you pigeonhole BLACK LIVES....I beg your pardon, come again. Black lives built this shit, fed this shit. Black lives is love and HUMANITY. You've continued to look this gift horse in the mouth, pet it like an animal and not given a fuck about its survival. Still and yet black lives manage to live and rise up from the ashes of Wall Street and uncover the lies you've told. It's sad that the erasure of us has had to be airbrushed back into the relevance of what America really is.
No thank you to national anthems, holidays and lady liberty because it doesn't represent me. We've been murdered, raped, lynched, hung, beaten, Jim Crowed, grandfather claused, segregated, reluctantly integrated, projected, Guinea pigged experimented on, stolen from, robbed of our genius, culturally misappropriated and the list goes on and on and on.....cause that DNA you use to cure everything is BLACK DNA and you stole it from Henrietta without telling a soul. I said run me my money.
My ancestors are coming back, to get our shit back.....and I know you won't be ready. There will be no amount of calling the police on us that will stop the inevitable. There will be no more shoot first and claim fear later. There will be no more getting filthy rich off of the equity and labor of my existence. You should be scared America, but not for what you think but for what you've done.
And then we can thank God for the HUMANITY of the Black race. Jokes on you, it's FRIDAY.

fuck this shit!
i learned a lot about puberty from these american girl books in 3rd grade. I thought i knew everything when i started flash in 5th and i did (thx AG!!!) then in middle school i learned nothing new, having started this nonsense in 4th grade. But then in 8th grade the internet told me something, something i didn’t know. the completely ignored existence of the clitoris. Now my elementary school was pretty liberal, we learned pretty in-depth sex ed in 5th grade on par with a health class in high school, but still... no clit. it was mentioned (in passing) this year, but my health teacher didn’t think it was important when we started talking abt sex! so yes! fuck this shit! you get these diagrams with it but it’s never labeled! are those of us with vulvas supposed to feel less pleasure?! must cis men be protected from our scary genitals?! can they just not bother caring for their partners?! this is fucked up

#reflection 3
After finishing all the reading for this week, I have learned that oppression in our society can not be see in one dimensional, it should be seen as as a combination of oppressions that based on different identities of a person. Which is call intersectionality. I myself as a racial minority immigrant I experienced intersectionality throughout years that I spend in the United States.
In 2011, My family migrated from Hong Kong to the United States for the “American Dreams” better education, more jobs opportunities and better living environment. My parents stayed at the United States for just a month, because both of them were highly experienced manager in a bank in Hong Kong, they afraid that they will less likely to find a better job or equally well pay job in the United States, due to the fact that their experience and diploma from a different country will be irrelevant in American companies eyes. Therefore my brother and I end up settled in relative's house. Education was essential to my parents, this is why they choose to place us in Long Island New York, where there’s a relatively better school zone. However at 5 am in the morning, two days after applying all the applications to the school, there were a staff members of the school showed up in where I live in the purpose to checked if I’m really living in there. During that time I was sleeping over at my cousins house. I got a phone call from my aunt and she said I got rejected from the school because they didn’t believe that I really lived in that address. We went to the education department, they explain to us that there were too many Chinese immigrants that giving in fake address to get in to that school, therefore they will not accept a Chinese immigrant who fail to show up in a address confirmation. As a result, I have to attend to a not as good school where are far away from where I live. This was the first time that I experienced how scary it could get when the system is holding against you due to your identities. When the school system though they have enough of the Chinese immigrants, they created a obstacle that block out the people who have that identities (Chinese immigrants) to come in to the system. Under these circumstances, where that person actually live is not matter because they don’t take any explanation or excuses , all that matters is whether you were in that address in that specific time when the authority are checking on you. This personal experience can be related to the macro scale of power structure. As Trump’s admission of banning citizens of Middle East countries from entering the country. By not only speaking publicly on tying the identities of being a Middle Eastern and Muslim directly with terrorist, but also publishing legitimate politics to enforce ban on “these type people”from entering the country because they are likely to be a threat. These decisions Shut countless of people’s path to pursue the greater opportunities for themselves and their next generation. That statement and politics that Mr Trump made, made the already oppressed Muslim community even more suffered, because sent a illusion to the Americans that practice certain types of religion or from certain place will define you as a person.
Even though I have experienced some discrimination based on my Chinese immigrant identity, but at the same time it is undeniable that within this patriartical capital society that have limited way to gain a legal status,my other identities of being a middle class male who have a legal status, got me so many privileges that some of my friends don’t have. Anna, she migrated to the American with her family “illegally” when she was 5, she has three siblings, one older sister who have mental illness, one younger sister and one younger brother. Almost all her family members are illegal immigrants accepted her youngest brother who was born in the United States. Without the legal documents and education Anna’s parents could only work in a very low wage as a dishwasher and construction worker within the black market. As the older sister, Anna need to work as part time along with handling her academic work ever since she was 15, in order to help her parents to feed her siblings. After finishing high school, even though she graduated with a honor, she could not attend to college because financial aid is only for legal citizens, her parents can’t afford the college education for her. Therefore she needs to straight up to the labor market work as a receptionist. Her low working class and illegal immigrant identities not only limited her opportunities to get a education, but also made her in a state where she could get take advantage of so easily, because she is in a desperate situation of getting a legal status. Anna has a “boyfriend” John for 3 to 4 years, he tread angel so badly, that both verbally and psychologically abused her regularly. Anna knows he denies her as his girlfriend in front of his friends and families and knows that all he wanted from her was to vent his sexual need on her. But the one thing that keeps her from speaking up or leaving him was the promise that he made to Anna, John claims that he will one day marry Anna. John as a American Citizen, use his citizenship as advantage to oppress Anna. Due to the time and effort that she have already invested on John , and the illusion of John gave to her that she will one day become a citizen if she stay submissive to him, she choose to stay quiet and let John do whatever he wants to her body.
Before meeting Anna, I have never being able to recognize how a working class, none documented identities can work together, which could make a group of people become so powerless when they face American citizen who abuse their privileges.
