Dulu. Kuliah terasa ringan.

Kelas 9 dulu punya senior se-asrama, punya hubungan yang cukup dekat dengan beliau sih, meskipun beliau kelas 12, jadi terpaut sekitar 3 tahun bedanya. Kemudian disaat lulus, kudapati beliau lanjut studi ke kampus negri ternama di Bandung. Ambil jurusan oseanografi. That's a cool name! Dari situ mimpi ini mulai terajut.

Kelas 10 masuk, disaat semua teman-teman mulai menggambar cita-cita di kampus apa dan jurusan apa. Jujur, masih bingung saat itu, untuk masuk jurusan di kelas sebelas saja pikir panjang. Sampai teringat sang senior dulu, ya! Jurusan oseanografi. Setelah pikir panjang, ku putuskan untuk bercita-cita. Masuk jurusan oseanografi.

Tidak jauh dari sana, kemudian terpikir, kenapa si senior ambil jurusan oseanografi, yang padahal beliau ini expert di bidang fisika, coba cari tahu, dan, oh Tuhan, oseanografi berisi segala hal tentang fisika dilautan. BIG NO! Paling anti dengan namanya fisika. Let's move out. Ku pilih jurusan ilmu kelautan. Kenapa? Laut Indonesia luas sob, mau teriak-teriak juga ga bakal direspon sama ikan.

Diakhir kelas 10, kuputuskan buat ambil jurusan IPA. Yaa demi supaya bisa masuk jurusan Ilmu Kelautan, kelak, saat kuliah.

Kelas 11 menjadikan sadar, ilmu kelautan, kalau di latin-in, laut itu ocean, ilmu itu logy, so? Oceanology? Or oceanography? Oh My God! It's a same thing. Ilmu kelautan adalah oseanografi versi bahasa Indonesia. Dan lagi lagi, demi menghindari fisika, let's move out!

Kelas 12 akhirnya tiba, dan saat itu jadwal UN juga dimajukan disekitar bulan maret/april. Gatau lagi mau kemana. Takut ketemu fisika, takut ketemu matematika, sedikit takut sama kimia, berharap banyak pada biologi. Coba nanya sama Mamak, karena rata-rata teman-teman kalau bingung ya tanya sama orang tua. Dan jawaban default yang selalu mamak utarakan "terserah abang aja" membuat semakin bingung. Dalam hati berbisik "kok punya mamak, gini-gini amat sama anak, semua dibebasin".

Memperhatikan nilai pelajaran selama ini sangat fluktuatif, meski kebanyakan turunnya ketimbang naiknya. Bikin suasana belajar dikelas 12 tuh gaenak. Mikirin nilai, mikirin mau lanjut kemana, mikirin bisa lulus engga. Duh gusti. Sampai pada titik dimana "udah jenuh banget sama pelajaran". Yang ujungnya, sering banget pura-pura sakit, males belajar, gitu gitu deh.

Ada satu pertolongan dari Allah saat itu datang. 'SEMUA SISWA KELAS 12 SAAT ITU, BERHAK IKUT/BERKOMPETISI DI SNMPTN JALUR UNDANGAN', ini buat sedikit lega. Mencoba mencari-cari lagi jurusan yang sekiranya mudah dan "kemungkinan" bisa lulus nya besar. And i found it! PERIKANAN.

Dulu cuma tau jurusan Budidaya Perikanan. Dan pilihan ku jatuh padanya. Budidaya. Terdengar seperti berisi biologi tentang ikan, gamungkin ada fisika nya, bisa jadi ada matematika, tapi itu kemungkinan yang kecil. And that's it.

Beberapa kali searching tentang perikanan, muncullah satu nama lagi, TEKNOLOGI HASIL PERIKANAN. Its sound good, dan (mungkin) bisa lebih baik dari Budidaya Perikanan. Keputusan final, Teknologi Hasil Perikanan. Kampusnya? Ga masalah dimanapun, asal jangan pulang ke sumatera. Itu pikiran saat itu.

Seiring berjalannya waktu di kelas 12, langkah kaki semakin berat, UN di depan mata, persiapan SBMPTN, dimana semua teman berlomba bersemangat, udah capek banget waktu itu, mengejar segala ketertinggalan. Jadi 5 orang yang diperkirakan tidak lulus UN. Gimana coba. Sejatuh-jatuhnya perasaan ya disitu.

Sempat ada waktu, nelpon sama mamak, "mak, abang gausah kuliah ya". Udah mau nangis, cuman gengsi waktu itu masih tinggi. Mamak cuman jawab "iyaa". Gusti, jawaban macam apa itu! Kemudian lanjut "abang bantuin mamak aja dirumah, nyapu, ngepel, masak, ngantar mamak ke kampus" dan lagi-lagi mamak jawab "iyaa". Udah.

Pilihan jatuh di kampus negri ternama di bogor. Mikirnya supaya gajauh-jauh dari bandara Soetta. Biar kalo ada apa-apa bisa cepat pulang. Dilalah, ada temen yang menjatuhkan pilihan di jurusan dan kampus yang sama, dan nilainya lebih tinggi, jleb. Pupus, cari kampus lain. Karena memang ga niat waktu itu, saat pendaftaran asal aja. Cari jurusan, cari kampus, dapat. Teknologi hasil perikanan, Universitas Diponegoro. Gatau undip dimana, gatau passinggrade-nya berapa. Asal aja. Dan mamak setuju.

UN lewat, Alhamdulillah. Dari asrama mengadakan program bimbel untuk SBMPTN. Ikut aja deh, daripada bingung. Celetuk hati waktu itu. Tryout pertama lulus, peringkat kedua tertinggi. Bahkan Kedokteran UI pun bisa. Tryout selanjutnya, masih diposisi yang sama, kedua terendah. Bahkan untuk masuk jurusan paling jelek sekalipun ga bisa.

Tiba saat pengumuman SNMPTN. Dijadwalkan siang, kemudian di undur sorenya. Selepas ashar di masjid, mengasingkan diri, berdiam, berlama-lama, berharap supaya lulus. Pulang ke asrama pun berjalan pelan. Dari masjid sudah terdengar sorakan. 2 orang sudah diterima. Masuk asrama, kemudian cari nomer peserta, dan pinjam HP kawan. Keluar warna hijau. Seketika langsung sujud syukur. Nangis. Jelas.

Orang pertama yang harus dikabari. Mamak. Bergegas nelpon, dan kali ini betul-betul nangis "mak, anak mamak jadi mahasiswa". Nangis bukan senang, nangis karena derita kebodohan akan dilanjutkan lagi. Nangis karena akan merantau lagi. Nangis karena akan semakin berjarak dengan rumah.

Fase kuliah ini pun dimulai. Di semester satu sakit-sakitan. 2 kali masuk rumah sakit. IPK nasakom. Sedih, asli. Pengen nyerah, tapi udah masuk. Pengen ngulang, tapi males belajar lagi. Yaudah dikuat kuatin. Sampai sekarang. Semester genap yang ke-6.

Masih menjadi beban pikiran, kenapa harus ke semarang, kenapa ga dirumah aja, kenapa harus kuliah, kenapa harus semakin jauh dari rumah.

Kepikiran aja liat kawan-kawan yang sudah punya pekerjaan, sudah berumah tangga, sudah punya pikiran lain. Sebenarnya itu ga terlalu, lebih ke, kenapa masih minta sama mamak, kenapa masih ngeluh sama mamak, kenapa belom bisa banggain mamak.

Seandainya, kuliah se-ringan dulu.

Oh masa depan..

Aku percaya jumat selalu berkah.. Aku sangat percaya akan ada hal indah di hari jumat minggu ini. Ini hari rabu 19.07 wib Apa usahaku? Hal yg aku lakukan adalah aku berdoa kepada Allah SWT, meminta doa kedua orangtuaku, aku baca buku mulai dari SD-SMA, beli buku tes, download materi sampai aplikasi tes, aku temui teman yang bisa dan mau mengajariku, dan sedari kemarin aku sudah menyendiri belajar diperpusda jakarta barat. Aku bingung, apa yg sudah aku bisa. Aku juga bingung besok gimana, besok lusa adalah ujian masuk kerjaku PERTAMA KALI. Aku menantikan itu. Walau sampai detik ini aku belum maksimal belajar a.k.a mempersiapkan diri. Ditambah lagi sekarang aku akan flu, hidung mulai gak enak, dan yang bikin "urgh" adalah aku pusing dan mulai demam. Sebabnyalah aku pulang lebih awal tadi dr perpustakaan. Aku keluar perpus pukul 14.15 wib. Aku bersyukur adalah beri aku kesempatan untuk ikut tes ini, semoga aku bisa lolos passinggrade biar aku seneng dan bisa membahagiakan mama. Semoga juga aku bisa jadi cpns. Aamiin Semoga usaha ini berbuah manis. Semoga Allah mudahkan, lancarkan, sukseskan hasilnya . . . Aku sudahi dulu ya. Aku mau siap-siap untuk belajar maksimal malam ini.
