Leeteuk (SuJu) Headcanon | You're Taller Than Him

Pairing: Park Jeongsoo x Fem!Reader

Requested by anon: Hi! Can I request a Leeteuk fic? Here's the prompt "Leeteuk's girlfriend is taller than him, which he doesn't mind but his members had been teasing him for it and it makes him feel bad. One day he had enough of the teasings and stormed off to somewhere to sulk. His girlfriend called out the members for their actions before she went after Leeteuk to comfort him." Please make the fic cute and fluffy. Thanks

A/n: I ended up doing a headcanon for now, but I can always come back and do an expansion

Your height had never been something Jeongsoo had ever been bothered by

Yes it brought about some strange gazes and unsolicited comments from others on occasion

But they didn't bother him in the slightest

If they asked him what made him fall for you, your height was not a factor in that equation

Your radiant beauty and caring nature did that

In fact, your height was simply a plus side to dating you

While he is the a bit above the average height of a Korean man, there were still things that he wasn't able to reach at times when they were far back on a shelf

And besides, why close a door to happiness simply because someone is taller than him

Over the years he's grown used to the teasing that comes from his members

He is the leader and has put up with it for nearly two decades at this point

He's rather patient and in some ways it's how they show they care and just a part of their family-like bond

And for a while he'd handle and take the teasing about you being taller in stride

But then things would go overboard

Borderline intrusive and offensive in some cases

It's possible that the guys didn't mean for that to happen and simply made what they thought were fairly innocent comments

But when their normally patient and tolerant leader storms off without saying a word, they are left feeling guilty and wanting to apologize

It's when they're to decide whether to allow some time to pass or go immediately to apologize that you find your boyfriend sulking and rather upset quickly getting the rundown of the events that had transpired

You are quick to hunt down the guys and give them an earful which they listen to without saying a word apologizing profusely to the two of you

Although the apology for Jeongsoo was at a later time after you suggested they give him some space and time

To which they agreed

During the time he's cooling off, you are with him silently comforting him and providing many words of affirmation and encouragement both of which he is incredibly grateful for
