Hello everyone and happy Saturday! Todays post for #stacksaturday is a bit of a soppy one, I’m afraid! 😂🥹 I’ve talked before about the two favourite women in my life, my little sister @chrissireads and my Mum (Mumma Chicka as she is affectionately known! 🐥🤣) Now these two wee minxes got together and bought me the books that I was missing from the @womensprize longlist 2023. Six of them have arrived today, one is due tomorrow and another at the end of this month. I’m completely overwhelmed and so grateful and lucky to have these two amazing women in my life who get me, love me unconditionally and understand how much books mean to me. I know they’ve got my back, whatever happens and I love them so much 😍 Have a lovely weekend everyone! 🤗😘 #bookstagramuk #scottishbookstagrammer #lovemyfamily❤️😊 #womensprizelonglist2023 #glory #novioletbulawayo #thedogofthenorth #elizabethmckenzie #cursedbread #sophiemackintosh #wanderingsouls #cecilepin #firerush #jacquelinecrooks #thebanditqueens #parinishroff #bookishsister #whataluckygirliam❤️ https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp8PNlpLQeF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

genpadalecki:  So excited to announce my first book club pick of 2023, The Bandit Queens, by @parinishroff. This book is set in a small Indian village ruled by patriarchy and caste, where a group of women endeavor to take control of their lives. Parini’s dark sense of humor eases the heavy moments of gender expectation. The Bandit Queens is heartwarming, full of substance and hilarious all at once. Pick up a copy and read along with me this month. ✨
