Parasha de la semana: Balak (Español)

¡Shalom!. Esta parasha es para mí, en lo personal una de las más fuertes. Trata sobre muchos puntos:

-El amor de Hashem por su pueblo

-Su inagotable poder, ya que niguna fuerza del mal puede contra Él...

El malvado y falso profeta Bilam se creía ''cerca de Dios'' sólo por hablar con Él, sin embargo hacía lo que realmente le convenía con los dones que tenía, en vez de usarlos para servir y ser luz para este mundo.

Pero incluso nuestro Elohim (que es maravilloso) utiliza a Bilam, ya que este malvado profeta a sueldo intenta varias veces maldecir a Israel ¡y sólo logra bendecirlo!.

Una de las lecciones más importantes es no dejarnos sobornar por la carne, la idoltría y las costumbres paganas para abandonar a quien realmente nos ama...

Son of a Bird, Kabbalah on witchcraft and Fallen Angels

Fallen Angels is a widely known concept, but many people have wrong perceptions.  One of the big myths is that the angels come to the physical world with a physical body.  Although there is a possibility that an angle can take a physical body such as when the Angels Visited and ate by Avraham Avinu. We know that it was for a certain time while doing their mission and when they finished they left their physical bodies and returned to the angel's world.  A fallen angel on the other hand is an angel that descends in its spiritual level because of our sins.  Contrary to the belief that it is an angel that was 'pushed' out of heaven and roams our physical world.

   Every mission that an Angle comes to our world for is temporary and the Angel always returns to its spiritual world.  An Angel can not come to this world permanently to stay, especially in a physical body.  Like a person can elevate his Spirituality through guarding the mitzvot, perfecting one's character, and Kabalistic meditations one can ascend to higher levels and elevate his consciousness to reach the spiritual realms. Ascending from the physical to the spiritual dimensions and receive revelations. Even to the level that he is similar to an Angel and barley has free will, in the same way, Angels are able to come to this world and reveal themselves for a specific purpose or to send a message, still, the physical body is only temporary.  

In Israel, this week's parashah is 'Balak' and next week in the diaspora.  The Parasha speaks of 2 wicked sorcerers, Bilam and Balak, that went to the school of witchcraft in the mountains of darkness that was run by two 'fallen angels'.  Although these 'Mountains of Darkness' seems like a description of a physical place, it is not.  Obviously you will not find them in our physical world (try on google maps) rather it is a spiritual place in one of the spiritual dimensions.  Just like we try to connect to the worlds of purity, likewise, Bilam and Balak tried to connect to a dark place where the revelation of Hashem is hidden, and that is where they found these angels who thought them the art of witchcraft. 

How and Why does Hashem give space to these mountains? 

Why put negativity in the world?

the answer that is brought down in the Ariza"l, is that the space that Hashem gave to the negativity is to punish the wicked people.  but this seems to us a contradiction it seems like a reward. They have techniques that give them wealth and fame.   We must take a deeper look. 

The qualities of the dimensions of darkness

Our physical world is spiritual in the middle between the lofty worlds of purity and the worlds of negativity where the mountains of darkness can be found.  when a person changes levels in their morality they can either elevate to become closer to Hashem (which is our purpose) or heaven forbid connect to the negative worlds.  The Negative worlds aka the dimensions of darkness is a place were resides all the powers of the tuma (impurity), and the power of the Klipot (shells).   

What does it mean to go up or down in the spiritual worlds?

It is not a physical elevator or plane. 

Since we do not know much about the negative worlds Barch Hashem, we do know that parallel the positive worlds of the kedusha (holiness) In the Kedusha as much as we go up in the higher levels there is more revelation of Hashem.

First, we go up to Asiah, even though there are many connections to this world, they are not the exactly same. The presence of Hashem is felt much stronger in this higher dimension. We see the same principle that when ascending higher to  Atzilut the revelations of the presence of Hashem are so abundant that one can see that there is nothing besides Hashem. In Beriah, it becomes so much more definite.  

On the opposite side in the worlds of negativity as much as one goes lower into the dimensions of negativity he does not see Hashem and loses the consciousness of the presence of Hashem and feels as there is no law, no judgment, and no punishment. This leads such people to go against the Torah

This is why when we talk with some people they can not understand the presence of Hashem because there consciousness in those lower dimensions.  

In Har Sinai, Am Yisrael said Na-aseh and Nishma we will do and we will hear; once we do a mitzvah it raises us to a higher level of spiritual understanding we will be able to comprehend the Torah that comes from a pure and high spiritual world.  This is also the meaning of mitzvah causes mitzvah and avera causes avera. Since when we do a mitzva we go higher and our revelation becomes more clear and we are able to do another mitzvah since we have less inclination to sin. On the opposite side when we sin there is a part of Hashem that is concealed from us that lets us sin again and makes it more difficult to do mitzvot. 

therefore those that do not live in holiness, and who still have revelations and powers, where do they get these from? From the Sitra Achara, the negative side, it is not possible that one can have revelations from Hashem if he is not pure. More on our website

🎶NOTAS DE VIDA🎶 Parasha 44 Devarim/Palabras Lectura dia primero Deuteronomio 1:1-11 Estas son las palabras que Moisés habló a todo Israel al otro lado del Jordán, en el desierto, en el Arabá, frente a Suf, entre Parán, Tofel, Labán, Hazerot y Dizahab.  (Deut. 1:1 LBLA) *¿ESTAS EN POSICIÓN PARA AMONESTAR?* Bilam hablaba solamente palabras bonitas sobre el pueblo de Israel. Sin embargo, en su corazón los odiaba. Hay muchas personas que alaban con su boca pero odian con su corazón, que de frente ponen una cara y atras estan dando la puñalada por la espalda, cuidado con ese tipo de personas. Ten cuidado con una persona que te halaga mucho. Normalmente no lo hace con un corazón de amor sino con intereses propios claro esto no sucede en todos los casos. Suele pasar que uno se encuentra con personas que empiezan halagando mucho pero terminan maldiciendo. Los halagos no siempre son señal de amor. El hombre es muy falso. El libro de Devarim/Deuteronomio contiene las amonestaciones del mayor de los profetas, Moshé rabenu. Me atrevería a decir que no hay ninguna otra persona, fuera de Yeshúa, que haya sufrido tanto por y con el pueblo de Israel como Moshé rabenu. Su amor por el pueblo en los momentos de juicio divino le indujo a entregar su vida en varias ocasiones para salvarlo. Una persona con ese amor y preocupación es la más adecuada para amonestar. No aquella que se escandaliza, disgusta o enoja ante la falta de un hermano. Cuanto hace falta de esto entre el pueblo de Israel, gente que cuando ve a su hermano cometer una falta o pecado no agarra el dedo señalador para acusar, juzgar, recriminar, y pisotear al que ha caido sin conocer las causas que llevaron a tal caida. Muchos ni siquiera testigos oculares son y solo se dejan llevar de señalamientos contra el caido llenos de religiosidad y chisme. Hacen falta hijos de Torah que como Moshe se paren en la brecha y digan "acabame a mi en lugar suyo"; el unico que ha sido capaz y ha superado a Moshé en eso fue nuestro santo Rab de bendita memoria Yeshúa ben Yosef, haciendo real sus palabras: NO HAY MAYOR AMOR QUE PONER LA VIDA POR SUS AMIGOS. Si tienes ese sentir solo asi podras levantar la voz y amonestar

 Balak, el rey de Moav, teme al Pueblo de Israel y manda a llamar a un renombrado brujo llamado Bilam para que los maldiga. D'os se aparece delante de Bilam y le ordena no hacerlo, pero Bilam ignora la advertencia.

7ma sección: Bamidbar (Números 24:14 - 25:9)

¡Shabat Shalom!. Les comparto la última porción de la parasha de esta semana que ha sido muy bueno volver a estudiar. Mantengamonos firmes, con emunah en el Creador para que nada nos haga flaquear de quienes realmente somos: hijos del Eterno.

Capítulo 24

14Ahora retorno a mi pueblo, pero primero te anunciaré de lo que esta nación le hará a tu pueblo en los días finales”.

15Entonces proclamó su oráculo y dijo: “Ésta es la palabra de Bilam hijo de Beor, la palabra del hombre con el ojo iluminado.

16Es la palabra del que oye los dichos de Dios y conoce la voluntad del Altísimo; quien tiene una visión del Todopoderoso mientras caído [en un trace meditativo] con penetración mística.

17”Lo veo, pero no ahora; lo percibo, pero no en el futuro cercano. Una estrella saldrá de Iaakov, y una vara se levantará en Israel, aplastando a todos los príncipes de Moab y dominando a todos los descendientes de Shet.

18Edom será demolido, y su enemigo Seír destruido, pero Israel será triunfador.

19De Iaakov vendrá un gobernante absoluto que borrará a los últimos sobrevivientes de la ciudad”.

20Cuando [Bilam] vio a Amalek, proclamó su oráculo y dijo: “Primero entre las naciones está Amalek, pero al final será destruido para siempre”.

21Cuando vio a los cineos, proclamó su oráculo y dijo: “Vives en una fortaleza, y has puesto tu nido en un peñasco.

22Pero cuando llegue el tiempo de destruir a los cineos, ¿por cuánto tiempo Asiria se contendrá de ti?

23Entonces declaró su oráculo y dijo: “¡Ay! ¿Quién puede sobrevivir a la devastación de Dios?

24Barcos de guerra vendrán de los puertos de los kitim, y ellos azotarán Asiria y Éver. Pero al final ellos también serán destruidos para siempre”.

25Con eso, Bilam partió y retornó a su hogar. Balak también prosiguió su camino.

Capítulo 25

1Israel permanecía en Shitim cuando el pueblo empezó a comportarse inmoralmente con las jóvenes moabitas.

2[Las jóvenes] invitaron al pueblo a sus sacrificios religiosos, y el pueblo comió y adoró a los dioses [moabitas].

3Israel de este modo se involucró con Baal Peor, y Dios manifestó ira contra Israel.

4Dios le dijo a Moshé: “Toma a los líderes del pueblo, y [haz que se los] empale [a los idólatras] públicamente delante de Dios. Esto invertirá la manifestación de ira de Dios contra Israel”.

5Moshé les dijo a los jueces de Israel: “Cada uno de ustedes debe dar muerte a sus componentes que estuvieron involucrados con Baal Peor”.

6[Los jueces] estaban todavía llorando [indecisos] en la entrada de la Tienda de Comunión, cuando un israelita trajo a una midianita a sus hermanos ante los ojos de Moshé y la comunidad israelita.

7Cuando Pinjás, hijo de Eleazar y nieto de Aarón el cohen, vio esto, se levantó de en medio de la asamblea y tomó una lanza en la mano.

8Siguió al hombre israelita hacia la cámara interior de la tienda, y los atravesó, [pasando la lanza] a través de la ingle del hombre israelita y de la mujer. Con eso, la plaga que había golpeado a los israelitas fue detenida.

9En esa plaga, 24 000 personas habían muerto.

Weekly Parasha: Balak(English)

Shalom!. This parasha is for me, personally, one of the strongest. It deals with many points:

Hashem's love for His people;

His inexhaustible power, since no force of evil can against Him…

The evil and false prophet Bilam thought he was "close to God" just by talking to Him, however he did what was really convenient for him with the gifts he had, instead of using them to serve and be a light for this world. But even our Elohim (who is wonderful) uses Bilam, as this evil hired prophet tries several times to curse Israel and only manages to bless it! One of the most important lessons is not to let ourselves be bribed by the flesh, idolatry and pagan customs to abandon the One who really loves us…
